David Weintraub Is an Industry Veteran With Over 25 Years Of Experience In All Areas Of The Entertainment Business. He got his start in the industry in the A&R department of Interscope Records and Death Row Records, working with the entire roster of hip-hop superstars.   David then went on to work for Eminem on his first two albums. Shortly after, he moved on to become a talent agent at William Morris Agency and United Talent Agency. And he then left the agency business to become a TV show creator, talent manager, and executive producer in Hollywood.   But his rise in the industry didn't stop there… Since then, David set out to become the producer and creator of some of the biggest hit TV shows on television. Roy Rogers was born on November 5th, 1911 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He spent much of the early 1930s performing with groups like Uncle Tom Murray's Hollywood Hillbillies, The Texas Outlaws, and The Rocky Mountaineers. In mid-decade he joined up with Bob Nolan to form the Sons of the Pioneers. By 1935, they were appearing in bit parts for Republic Pictures. Two years later Republic's top cowboy, Gene Autry, quit in a dispute, and Rogers became a star. He bought a palomino colt, named it Trigger, and taught it tricks that were guaranteed crowd- pleasers. Rogers was soon nip-and-tuck with Autry at the box office. In the mid-1940s he was among the top ten money-makers in the entire industry. He came to radio in 1944 over Mutual. His second wife, Arline, died in 1946. He married his co-star Dale Evans on New Year's Eve, 1947. Hollywood radio's best loved working with Roy. His radio show moved to NBC in 1951 where he also ventured into TV. In 1953 new sponsor Dodge, asked the show to be more adult-oriented. Writer-director Ralph Rose came up with a mystery format, with Evans's song usually figuring in the plot. The January 27th, 1955, episode was called “Faraway Places.” The Roy Rogers Show went off the air on July 21st, 1955. His television series ran until June 9th, 1957.

“Sir David Weintraub” is producer, leader in Non-Scripted Reality, and the CEO of DWE Talent, a management/film/television production company. This Hollywood Dad gives great career advice and is all about the hustle on this week’s WYJP! Besides telling some Kardashian, Jersey Shore, Hills stories- David talks career beginnings as a teenage intern for Interscope Records and Death Row Records where he worked on records for artists such as Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, No Doubt, Bush, and Eminem. In his last year at USC, Weintraub founded Spellbound Records with his boyhood friend Randy Spelling, the son of entertainment mogul Aaron Spelling. David re-tells some pretty epic Spelling Mansion stories and gives great advice that his mentor Aaron Spelling related to him. He also facilitated the move from reality TV to movies for Kristin Cavallari, Paris Hilton, and Nicole Richie. After United Talent Agency, David co-founded Coalition Management with Troy Carter and they worked with Fat Joe, Eve, Nelly, Lady Gaga, and Ya Boy.  He and his close friends Randy Spelling and Sean Stewart appeared in Weintraub's first television series Sons of Hollywood, which aired on the A&E network. In a highly unusual move in showbusiness, Weintraub not only created a show but also produced it, starred in it and agented the participants. Weintraub worked on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, which aired on VH1 with Dr Drew Pinsky.
