Shred Your Body - episode #72 Tonight on Shred Your Body, our Chief Shreducator, Heather Sica-Leonard, has the privilege of interviewing and sharing the incredible life story of Kathy Peters. Kathy was born in Lancaster Ohio. She was raised in a family that had weight issues – her mother was a 4 x diamond Weight Watcher official pin holder, which means she lost and gained back 100 pounds at least 3 times throughout Kathy's life. Kathy has always been interested in health and wellness, but because of what she experienced growing up, she always believed it was difficult, time consuming and not easily sustainable. Kathy shared with us that as a result of her upbringing, she has tried many different methods of weight management, with varied results. Kathy went to cosmetology school straight out of high school with the intention of helping others feel good about themselves. She learned very quickly that feeling good about yourself was an inside job – and no amount of skill can help people feel good about themselves unless they want to. Kathy worked as a Probate Specialist for 16 years at a law firm, worked at Harley Davidson for 4 years when we moved to Kauai in 2004, then about 14 years for an Assisted Living Community where she was Human Resources Director. Kathy became unemployed in August of 2021, and it was then that she was introduced to ER shred by two friends. Kathy went on to say, the true story was that a picture was taken of Melissa and her when she was vacationing on Kauai. Kathy asked her not to share it because she was embarrassed – and she knew it was her new before picture the moment she saw it. Melissa told Kathy she understood and then told her about ER Shred. Kathy jumped in and READ EVERY GUIDE, WATCHED EVERY VIDEO and educated herself before she jumped in. Kathy didn't even have the right products because she had never heard of incubating a shake and had switched to totally non dairy– but she used what she had and improvised until her new order came in … Kathy shared, she had immediate success. You'll be in God's permissible will. Or You'll be in God's perfect will. She said the first one is not good. She said the second one is really not too good, but it's better than the first one, she said. But the third one is where you need to strive to be. Mike Huey gets up every day now and says he is called to be an entrepreneur, to influence people, to build relationships with people, and to speak from stages. There are some adventures that take me by surprise and throw me out of my comfort zone, but they end up being something I never forget. Matt and I went on a hosted trip to Fairfield County where we were invited to try a Jet Pack Water flight with Jet Pack Water Adventures in Lancaster, Ohio, located only 10 short minutes from Hocking Hills!We love adventures and trying new things, so the quick answer was YES!
