Longtime friend of the Grateful Dead keyboardist talks about their friendship before and after the GD.
After working in various front of house positions at different venues, and discovering a love for cooking at home Matt Sinclair (Sum Yung Guys) had an urge to move back of house and work in the kitchen. While planning his first food truck a friend recommended him to the producers of Masterchef and before he knew it he was part of the show. He eventually fulfilled the food truck dream, and now with bricks and mortar he's created a venue that has paved the way for many in the south east of Queensland. https://www.instagram.com/_matt_sinclair/?hl=en Follow Deep In The Weeds on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/deepintheweedspodcast/?hl=en Follow Huck https://www.instagram.com/huckstergram/ Follow Rob Locke (Executive Producer) https://www.instagram.com/foodwinedine/ LISTEN TO OUR OTHER FOOD PODCASTS https://linktr.ee/DeepintheWeedsNetwork Deep in the Weeds is a food podcast hosted by Anthony Huckstep in conversation with chefs, food producers and members of the hospitality industry. After doing hundreds of storyboards for the original, Steve became a longtime collaborator of the Wachowski's and worked on all four Matrix films— yes, including the latest. From being there when the pitch for the original movie got rejected by the studios, to watching it become one of the most influential films of the last few decades, Steve has a unique perspective on the series. In 2017, Matty opened Sum Yung Guys with a team of mates in Noosa. Since their launch, the restaurant is constantly booked out - making it a "super success".
