Fox will perform the opening monologue from this summer's TALK TO ME in which he gives voice to what acting and theatre really mean to him as well as an excerpt from Acting Out's recent production INSIDE OUT where he is able to speak his truth to his mother through the lines written by another (currently incarcerated) man. (Chinese) At a gathering just after the Penghu lecture, disciples had a happy time talking to Master about their trip. The sea journey to Penghu was an adventure amidst gusty winds and huge waves, but our fellow initiates were not intimidated. Some of them saw Master’s manifestation body atop a lotus escorting their ship. When faced with a perilous storm and the waves of life in this illusionary world, how can we find inner calm and peace? Master said: “Every day in this world, we run into stormy seas, but we ...

Thank you so much for tuning into the She Shifted podcast. What a difference a few weeks have made, right. This is the same statement, I made following the COVID-19 pandemic. We seemingly find ourselves once again shook at our core as we are in the midst of what the American Psychological Association is referring to as a racism pandemic. I will tell you that my heart weeps. Y'all I have cried out. I have cried out God. As a wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie of black men, I have cried out to God. The other night, my husband and I were out walking and discussing what’s going on in the world and we recalled the multiple conversations that we’ve had to have with our son centered around racism and police brutality. Our collective cry was us just simply asking God to intervene. All of our adult lives have been about serving our country. As veterans, it is heart-wrenching to know the sacrifices made by so many service members and their family who have served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting the war on terrorism. Men and women who already experiencing so much loss… only to come back home to be treated like a terrorist because of the color of one’s skin. Understandably this is a very emotionally raw time for us all. Listen, if we want to change, we must be willing to be uncomfortable. This right here… should make us all uncomfortable. No doubt, we are living in what some have deemed a racism pandemic that has been at the root of our nation’s history for centuries. The strong roots of racism have taking a heavy psychological toll on African Americans and what we’re seeing in the streets of our cities is a result of that toll. Think about shaking up a liter of soda…. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/marsha359/support

Birth Mother Matters in Adoption Episode 35: A Birth Mother's Heart Adoption choices are difficult, there is no other way to explain this. Choosing to carry a baby for nine months and place that baby with another family may seem unimaginable. However, to that pregnant woman, she has stories, secrets and dreams that people may not be aware of. She may not be in the same financial position, in a safe relationship, have family support or even available resources. She may not have a place to call “home”, know where her next meal is coming from, or have the ability to even seek medical care for herself. An adoption choice is a deeply personal one and should remain a personal one, it’s an incredibly respectable choice that a woman has had since the biblical times. A woman who has chosen adoption has chosen life, but is selflessly choosing to allow another to parent. Grief is not something that only occurs after a baby is placed for adoption, but actually begins the moment an adoption decision is made. Another misconception is that because a birth mother is experiencing grief she is wavering on her adoption choice. Grief is very normal and is often a stage in the process of adoption, the birth mother is allowing herself to let go of her own dream to secure a different dream for her child. The heart of a birth mother is like no other; it’s loving another human enough to put aside her own wants and needs to provide a life for her child. This birth mother huge heart is selflessly giving the gift of life to another woman, man, family who may not be able to conceive their own child. A birth mother will always remain a mother to the child she places for adoption, the love she has for her child never dies or is replaced, it just continues to grow.

Title: God Has A Mother's Heart Speaker: Pastor James Sabin May 12, 2019 at Kingdom: A Community Church
A mother’s love cannot be compared to any other. However, the same is true of a mother’s pain
When you look at a mother's heart you see God's heart. Like our earthly mother's God is ever caring and nurturing his children. He loves us with an unconditional love, there is no limit or condition to God's love. Mother's were given a special heart, one that looks after and tenderly cares for the fruit of the womb. As you gain an understanding of a mother's heart you will gain an understanding of God's heart.
