The trio is taking a poddy break! In all seriousness, we were planning to post a trio episode this week and after recording we were like, "what the hell was that?" We realized that we weren't bringing the vulnerability and authenticity that we wanted to the conversation and realized that we had some major walls up when it came to sharing on the podcast. So, we have decided to take 3 weeks to regroup as a trio and realign with our mission to push the boundaries of mainstream health and wellness and bring you all along on our wellness journeys. THIS EPISODE:  On tour with Tim Hawkins and the Poddy Break Crew. Lots of talk about pretentious sweat pants, Pkarlgh. If you are on the fence regarding Lulu Lemon...this is the podcast for you.   Backstage with Tim Hawkin's crew while we try to figure out what to eat for lunch. Josh tries to convince me that $100 bucks is reasonable for a pair of sweat pants.  And Josh, the merch guy, helps keep me informed on the important topic of which side of the stage he will come from. Plus T-shirt distribution strategy.   Lots of behind the scenes information about the secret to Caleb's sense of well being. And even more discussion of Lulu Lemon.   Dave Lower (our promoter) gives a matter of fact opinion that gives perspective to the boys. He is, of course, ignored.   Then we re-open the debate about 'comfortable'. We will never settle this issue but that will not stop us from fighting about it for the rest of our lives. The comfort question spills over into a debate about queso, guac and breaded chicken.   Foolishly, I allow the conversation to turn toward board games so the crew can mock me again. Whatever.    We make plans to go to the gun show and see some kind of animal water-ski. (** SPOILER ** It's a squirrel...)   Then, we get on the bus and prepare to record an episode of Tim's Poddy Break.   Freight uses a naughty word for drunk (which I cut out) and then we admire Tim's pants because we love America.   We have a conversation about names and people who should change theirs.   Then we bring Tim up to speed on the skiing squirrel.    See the spectacle (and Freight's reaction) here: https://vimeo.com/226738681  

This week, I travel the world. Starting out on the bus with Tim Hawkins' crew I expose the inner secrets of Poddy Break. We'll peer behind the curtain to reveal the truth about this alleged 'off the cuff' phenomenon.  I try to figure out what Trigonometry is used for too.  We field a few questions from listeners for the Poddy Break gang.  We discuss children's artwork. Tim confesses that he always thought he was great at everything.   Apparently, Eskimos have 100 definitions for snow but we have no proof of that. I'm criticized for my pronunciation of 'era'. Robots are worse but nobody criticizes them. Tim is worried about artificial intelligence. We wind down the first part of the Poddy Break episode when we wake Freight up. I've got some criticism for these guys, but you'll have to listen to Poddy Break to hear it.  (We're overlapping episodes!! How cool is that!) Then things fall off the rails and I switch off the recorder for awhile...   The recording from my show in West Virginia is totally awful. Can't use it.  I did capture a short exchange with a guy in the audience though. He talks about farts. (To be clear, I started it...). It's inspirational.   I've got a few things to discuss with Carl on the way home from West Virginia. (God, Evil, toll booths and Pop Tarts).   Then...we finalize the Poddy Break episode. It's pretty noisy on the bus...sorry. Couldn't do much to fix the audio. We talk about cats, chickens, and Bob Ross. Plus, what's the best thing to watch when you want to fall asleep?

Grandma Turbo and Tim show up to help the Peaches and me struggle to find a topic. Eventually, Turbo voices a complaint and we are shocked !  Emmi is outraged!   Then, I take a drive with Andrew to school because his overly complex alarm system fails him. He's late for school but because he's a senior, he couldn't care less. We discuss his plans for the future. It doesn't take too long.  I tell him what I learned reading ceramic drink containers.   The Peaches brings Emmi over to chew on the dog's toys. There is a discussion about parents who can't leave their kids in the church nursery. And sometimes people don't believe God exists and these two things are related. I recount a tale of  the shoe less worship leader.   Maybe sermons should contain more swear words.   There's much talk about the wisdom of focusing church programs on people who don't go to church.   There's a story about the time the cops came to VBS to arrest Lori.   Kind of a hodge-podge this week but that's how some weeks go.  Next week, I'm on the bus with the Poddy Break crew and there will be some discussion about that....  

Jonnie DubDubs is back for some more Poddy Break. This week, Tim gets moth guts on his hands. Jonnie and Tim have “Eagle Talk”. The gang is apparently putting everyone to sleep.
