Client Reviews… ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jenny's teachings have produced results reconnecting me with my estranged daughter I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and guidance received in the most tragic time of my life from coach Jenny Good. Her faith, compassion, understanding, dedication and display of radical love has truly been life-changing for me. I was so overwhelmed with feelings of confusion, guilt, and sadness. I felt lost and didn't know how to navigate through the emotional turmoil I was experiencing. However, from the very first call, Jenny created a safe and non-judgmental space for me to share my details. Her ability to listen attentively and empathize while helping me understand a different way of thinking is truly remarkable. She understood my feelings and offered tools each session in ways I have not experienced even from therapy. I am forever thankful for the medicine she has poured into me to be the very best version of myself! This has rippled into all areas of life for me. Jenny's teachings have produced results reconnecting me with my estranged daughter! Thank you for being the vessel of unwavering faith & love that so many of us could benefit from, estranged or not. A true Godsend. - Melinda Wyman . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I am living a truly happy life, and I reconciled with my son Having a coach and mentor who is rooted in Christ is very important. I've experienced so much inner healing with Jenny as my Coach. I am living a truly happy life, and I reconciled with my son! I feel empowered to continue stepping into my full power as a mother and to live a life where my children matter, but they don't determine my worth. I am me again. - Carol Adams

You know, staying busy is really crucial for our mental well-being. When we're not actively engaged in something, our minds can easily wander. And let's be honest, that wandering often leads us down a path of overthinking. You might start ruminating on current stresses, past regrets, or even issues you thought you had already dealt with. It's like opening a floodgate to all the things that can stress you out or bring you down. By staying busy, you create a buffer against these intrusive thoughts. Engaging in activities, whether it's work, hobbies, or socializing, keeps your mind focused on the present and on positive, productive things. This doesn't mean you're running away from your thoughts; it means you're choosing to focus your energy on things that make you feel good and keep your mind healthy. Think about it: when you're doing something you enjoy, like painting, reading, gardening, or even just hanging out with friends, you're not giving your mind the space to dwell on negativity. These activities not only keep you occupied but also bring a sense of accomplishment and joy. In essence, staying busy with things that make you happy is a form of self-care. It's about creating a balance in your life where you're not just busy for the sake of being busy, but actively engaging in things that enrich your life and keep your mind in a good place. This way, you're less likely to be overwhelmed by stressful thoughts and more likely to maintain a positive outlook on life.
In this episode, Dr Ashleigh Moreland and co-host David Masterton dive into the nuances of the flight response, often misunderstood as simply ‘running away' from stress. But did you know that flight mode can also show up as chronic overthinking, staying endlessly busy, and even mentally checking out? Many of us unknowingly spend a lot of our lives in this state, distracted and disconnected to avoid perceived threats or deep-rooted anxieties. Dr Ash and David explore the hidden ways the flight response can impact our daily lives, from constantly overloading our schedules to compulsively keeping our minds active. They discuss the nervous system's role in fuelling these behaviours and explain why the mind's need to escape doesn't always mean physically fleeing – sometimes, it's simply the inability to be fully present. You'll learn to identify subtle signs of flight, understand how it can show up in your relationships and work, and discover healing strategies that go beyond mere ‘coping' to real integration and inner calm. If you've ever felt the urge to stay busy to avoid something deeper, this episode is for you. Don't miss this insightful conversation about the flight response's true nature and how you can find lasting relief by rebalancing your nervous system. Today we introduce this month's topic: all the ways we avoid sitting with our feelings and facing truths that seem too overwhelming to confront. We'll explore the psychological mechanisms behind our avoidance behaviors, such as staying task-focused, fixating on others' needs, and using distractions to numb our emotions. By examining these patterns, we can better understand how avoidance often stems from a fear of facing our own shame and guilt, which can lead to chronic anxiety and a sense of disconnection from ourselves and those around us. We also discuss the significant impact of avoidance on our mental and emotional well-being, highlighting the emotional toll of unresolved feelings and suppressed emotions. This episode provides practical strategies for breaking the cycle of avoidance and encourages listeners to embrace vulnerability and emotional honesty. By facing our feelings head-on, we can begin the journey towards self-awareness, healing, and stronger, more authentic relationships. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we take some time – to face ourselves. Key Takeaways: Avoidance Fuels Anxiety: By consistently avoiding uncomfortable emotions and truths, we create a cycle of unresolved issues that leads to chronic anxiety and increased stress. Facing these feelings, though challenging, is essential for reducing anxiety and fostering emotional health. Impact on Relationships: Avoidance behaviors can create barriers to genuine connections with others, leading to superficial relationships and emotional disconnect. Embracing our emotions allows for deeper intimacy and understanding in our relationships. Emotional Toll of Suppression: Suppressed emotions can lead to a range of psychological and physical issues, including chronic stress, anxiety, and depression. Addressing and processing these feelings is crucial for maintaining overall well-being and preventing emotional burnout. Avoiding our own emotions makes it harder to be there for others because we're too wrapped up in our own struggles. Get your FREE Boundaries Ebook here! Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (61-2-2) 39 KOs defends the Super-Middleweight throne against a game opponent and fellow countryman in Jaime Munguia (43-1) 34 KOs. Munguia did not shy away from the challenge and did what he could to seize the moment, but in the end the experience and overall ring IQ of Canelo proved to be too much for the young challenger. One name continues to be brought up as the next challenger for the champion and that is none other than the "Mexican Monster" David Benavidez. Time will tell if these two will finally step into the ring against one another and give the fans what they want or if the speculated Berlanga/ Crawford as his next two opponents comes to fruition. For Munguia, he undoubtedly leveled up this past Saturday night. Let's hope that he returns with the same fire against a Morrell, Plant or Mbilli and doesn't lose momentum with "Stay Busy" and/or "Tune-up" type opposition.
