Christopher Coles Trigger Warning: Audio contains conversation about police violence against Black men and racially explicit language.  Listen. Christopher sent Aria the shortest bio ever- but when you’re Christopher Coles, do you really need a long bio? He’s incredible- a thinker, doer, philosopher, poet, activist, friend, father, teacher, learner. Tonight's show begins with a personal favorite that I rarely get to play. In 1993, in the wake of Mark Gage's international techno hit "Gravitational Arch of 10" as Vapourspace, Fred Giannelli (AKA Plus 8 Records producer The Kooky Scientist) released a collaboration on his label Telepathic Recordings between Gage and fellow Rochesterian, industrial/body music producer Coleman Horn (C/Sphere of the Artillerymen On A Toot.) The 12-inch was released as Microset Morning. The unique synth sound on this track comes from the Multivox Firstman SQ-01, a monophonic sequenced baseline synth similar to the TB-303 but with its own unique sound due to differences in the filter. Coleman Horn had to eventually sell the Firstman at a time when he was strapped for cash. I was offered the opportunity to purchase the Firstman at a party, but did not have the funds to do so. True story. 00:00 Site ID/Show Intro 00:31 Microset Morning (AKA Vapourspace & C/Sphere) - Ecolo-Net (Telepathic Recordings PSI009) 06:28 Roman Faero - The Purelist's Spirit (Manu Kenton Rmx)(Undersession, Industrial Philharmonics IPHR072) 16:00 David Meiser & Black Asteroid - Who Controls (Temple of Solitude, Nachtstrom Schallplaten NST083) 24:08 Mic Break 25:25 David Meiser - The Shaman (Dark Legacy, Dark Vortex DV-001) 29:40 Henrik B - Manwolf (Manwolf, Illgorhythm ILL1212) 36:57 Reynard D.
