Being a Christian Witness is much more than a verbal proclamation, surface presentation, or religious denomination. A Christian is a transparent window that enables others to see the identity of Jesus Christ in and through us.

Telling others about Christ is the focal point of the church. This is what being a missionary is all about. However, we are not meant to be a Lone Ranger missionary. God wants us to team together to tell, bring, and show Christ’s love to those around us.

The purpose of this teaching is to educate and encourage all of us in the "purpose of the Holy Spirit". We believe that the gift of the Holy Spirit is for every believer and as we allow Jesus to Baptize us in the Holy Spirit, the power of the Holy Spirit will come upon us and we will have the power and the ability to witness for Christ and He will be glorified in our lives... It's all about Jesus and His glorious work in our life...

Pastor Mike begins the next series on The Holy Spirit and what it means to be filled or "Baptized in the Holy Spirit". This is the introduction to the series and speaks about the "Normal Experience" of the early church being fully accepting of the Holy Spirit in both the area of regeneration or salvation and the experience of being Baptized and endued with power that the Holy Spirit brings. It is the prayer of this pastor that this series be directed and guided by the Holy Spirit and that the church today would once again allow and invite the Holy Spirit to be activated and sought after in His fullness...

We need the Holy Spirit and the filling of the Holy Spirit because we need Jesus. The Holy Spirit is God, the very presence of Jesus on earth in us. We need a fresh anointing by the Spirit and the daily filling of the Spirit. We have a Great Commission work to do. We must believe in the Holy Spirit and invite His work in our church and our lives! There is one baptism of the Holy Spirit at salvation, but there are a lifetime of new fillings and anointing of the spirit for the Christian.

Being a Christian is not just following the Master, seeking to live up to a standard of perfection, trying to be faithful and obedient, but rather allowing Him to live His life in us and through us.That’s what Pentecost is all about! The infilling/baptism of the Holy Spirit!
Enjoy great worship and testimonies of how lives are being completely transformed by the power of Jesus.
What does the empowerment for missions look like in our life? Listen as Pastor Mark teaches us how to be open to the empowerment of the Holy Spirits presence in us and His activity around us through loving others, divine appointments, and following His plan and not ours.
A sermon on what Christ had in mind for the Church, from its earliest times to modern-day churches around the world.
Go to the nations! Pastor Akognon explains that we need to go to all nations, all colors, all people without prejudice and racism.
What does it mean to say the church has become self contained? The church as a whole seems to have a skewed view of the individual Christian's role in sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus. This is the intro to our current series on what it means to say that the church is Self-Contained. If we are called to Go to the nations in Matthew 28, why do we live so often in our 'holy huddle'?

There are a slew of reality shows on TV, but only two of them have really captured my interest – “The Biggest Loser” and “So You Think You Can Dance.” I find myself being inspired by many of the contestants on “The Biggest Loser,” who work so hard and so diligently to get healthy. But I’m not sure I can explain why I like a reality show about dancing, because I assure you – I don’t think I can dance. Once upon a time I was an athlete, so I very much admire the athleticism involved in dancing. And I enjoy a fair bit of contemporary music, so it’s fun to watch the contestants dancing to music I enjoy. I probably don’t enjoy the show as much as my wife does – I can sometimes be caught checking out the score of a basketball game on my iPad while she’s watching the show. And for the most part I don’t enjoy the comments of the judges on the show, who – in my opinion – take themselves way too seriously. But I will have to admit this – yes, I think those dancers can dance. If I wanted to learn how to dance, they would be the kind of folks I would ask to teach me.

Evangelism is not easy. It does not matter who you are and how smart you are, it is not easy to evangelize. It does not come so easily. If we are to be obedient to our Lord, there are some things we must pay attention to as Disciples of Christ when it comes to evangelism.
