Pastor Alvin returns this week for an amazing sermon on the purpose of Pentecost… POWER! Once we are saved, the POWER of God is made available to us through the Holy Spirit. But understanding this POWER requires us to know the difference between God's permissive will and Gods perfect will. It also demands that we know it is the will of God that the church has power, and not in theory but in reality. Through this sermon, Pastor Alvin teaches us what it means to have the power of God active in our lives and provides the ABC's of learning to live in the power Jesus made available to us. The Book of Acts | Pentecost Power | 3-22-26 by Kearney eFree Church
In this stirring and deeply encouraging Advent message, Pastor Karl launches the new series The King Has Come with a powerful exploration of the first great gift Jesus brings: hope.Turning to Luke 2 and the quiet, largely forgotten figures of Simeon and Anna, Pastor Karl paints a vivid picture of two elderly saints who spent decades waiting in faithful obscurity—praying unanswered prayers, worshiping through silence, and serving without recognition. Yet the moment a 40-day-old baby was carried into the temple, their Spirit-illuminated eyes saw what the crowds missed: the long-promised Messiah, the Consolation of Israel, the Redemption of Jerusalem.Through their story, Pastor Karl reveals that biblical hope is not wishful thinking; it is the confident, unshakable expectation of future good rooted in the unchanging character and faithfulness of God. Hope grows in the hidden soil of daily faithfulness, thrives when God chooses to work in silence, and celebrates the tiny seed because it already trusts the coming harvest. Simeon and Anna never saw Jesus preach, heal, or rise from the dead—yet they held the infant King and departed in peace, because they knew who He was long before they saw what He would do.A tender yet convicting word for everyone who has waited a long time and is still waiting, prayed a long time and is still praying, and hoped a long time and is still hoping. In a season that can feel rushed and noisy, this message calls us to slow down, stay faithful, and train our eyes to recognize the presence of the King—even when He shows up wrapped in the ordinary, the small, and the seemingly insignificant.Because the King has come, hope is not dead. It is alive, resilient, and bubbling up in every heart that keeps showing up and keeps looking for Jesus. Essential listening for anyone who needs fresh hope this Christmas.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 9:00am & 10:30am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm
This Pentecost Sunday, Elder Ken Schwendemann brings a fiery word that will stir your spirit and awaken your calling. In this episode, we explore what it truly means to be baptized not only in the Spirit—but in power. Too many believers are living without the full force of what Jesus promised: we are not meant to be cannon fodder in a spiritual war—we are meant to carry fire. Through powerful stories, biblical insight, and prophetic encouragement, this message dives deep into: Why Jesus said wait before you go The difference between the dove and the fire of the Holy Spirit The gifts of the Spirit as spiritual nukes—not religious badges Why power is essential to overcoming the works of the enemy A personal call to step into your purpose, anointing, and inheritance You were never meant to just survive. You were created to carry Kingdom power.
FAITH IS… with Pastor Rick Stevens – As Christians, we're called to interpret recent events through faith, seeking insight despite incomplete information. On this Pentecost weekend, we rejoice in the Holy Spirit's empowering presence, granting supernatural ability to share God's truth. May we embrace His enabling strength, live boldly, and rise to His extraordinary calling, bearing witness to His trustworthiness each day...

The disciples walked with Jesus, healed the sick, and cast out demons—yet they still lacked something essential. Have you ever wondered if being “saved” is enough, or if there's more to living a victorious Christian life? In Acts 2:1-4, everything changed for the disciples on the day of Pentecost. They were filled, empowered, and purified by the Holy Spirit. What about you? This video dives deep into questions most Christians avoid: Were the disciples saved before Pentecost? Why do so many struggle with indwelling sin after conversion? What does it mean to be “baptized with the Holy Ghost”? Discover the truth behind entire sanctification, the second work of grace, and how the promise of the Spirit can revolutionize your walk with God. With real-life examples from scripture and history, you'll see why this moment wasn't just for the early church—it's for you, today. Don't settle for less than God's best. Watch now and claim the power, purity, and boldness promised to every believer!

Pentecost Acts 1:8 Acts 2:1-4 May 28, 2023 Pentecost-Feast of the First Fruits to celebrate the Wheat Harvest. In later years it also became a feast celebrating the giving of the Law. When the Law was given 3000 people died. Exodus 32 When Holy Spirit was poured out 3000 people were saved. Acts 2 Often, we mistakenly associate the power of the Holy Spirit with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Examples of the power of the Holy Spirit to be witnesses: Peter Acts 2:5-39 Paul 1 Corinthians 11:22-27 The power of Holy Spirit enables us to live in LOVE. 1 Corinthians 13. +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally
This weekend is ‘Pentecost’ in the Christian calendar. We celebrate the day when the power of the Holy Spirit fell upon the fearful disciples, empowering them, transforming them, enabling them to be God’s people in God’s world. Surely we all need the same power, and thankfully, the same power is available!

The day of Pentecost is a day of empowerment. The Holy Spirit gives us the supernatural power to overcome fear and doubt and go out to do God’s work. The early church experienced it and God still offers it to each of us today!
Monday May 8, 2023 Acts 2 The early Christian church experiences a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. The day of Pentecost brings the disciples together in one place, where they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Peter gives a powerful sermon, leading to the conversion of thousands. Have you ever experienced the power of the Holy Spirit in your life? #Acts2
Fifty days after Easter (Pentecost) is the day the apostles received the Power of the Holy Spirit. Their Purpose was clear: get out and spread the good news of Jesus Christ. How did they do this Kingdom work? With their bodies. They traveled with their legs and feet. They spoke truth with their tongues. They used their arms and hands to hug, heal and baptize. Christianity wouldn't exist without them. And it won't exist without you and your body continuing to share and live out the Gospel. THIS is why we take care of ourselves. Not to be a certain size or scale number, but to be vessels that carry the love of Christ into the world. Protein is what empowers the body - our holy temple - to be strong and healthy to do the work we are called to do. In this week's episode, we're talking about how protein is the biggest needle mover when it comes to optimal weight, strength, mobility and mental peace. Come listen to this episode as we bridge this gap between Easter and Pentecost and reprioritize how we build the body of Christ as we build our bodies.
