In This Episode: Kalyna delves into the 5 Love Languages mapped out by Gary Chapman. These languages overlap and are unique to the individual. We all enjoy these 5 languages and possibly others in varying degrees. The exciting journey is to figure out what your partner appreciates most. We often love others how we would like to be loved ourselves. It takes the wind out of our sails when the other person just doesn't get the hint that we want that new purse, or a nice text in the middle of the day. It all comes down to what we value and how we have learned to show our love. If you want a different type of love, the best way to clearly get it is to ask! 1. Acts of Service - You take day to day tasks off of someone's to do list. You lighten the load of things your partner needs to do. Think house chores, errands etc. 2. Physical Touch - We know this one. Hugs, kisses, cuddling, massage and any intimate physical connection you share with your partner or loved ones. 3. Quality Time - This is undivided 1-1 time with your loved ones. Netflix is okay, if there's true connection happening. The only way to know if this is landing for both parties is to ask and see if they feel seen, heard and understood. 4. Receiving Gifts - This can be any sort of gift, whether it's flowers, an online gift card or a care package. This is something you make or purchase that's tangible for the other person to experience. It can be a day trip with certain excursions but it's something you've planned out or set up yourself (which would double up as quality time.) 5. Words of Affirmation - A text saying something your loved one appreciates or likes about you counts in this category! Any time you are affirming that you love and care for the person, or reinforcing what you admire or enjoy about them will be speaking this love language. Remember, while this was first aimed at married couples, this resonates across all relationships and we should treat it as such, a guide to loving people the way they want to be loved. Life is just like the ocean, isn’t it? Every day brings with it waves (challenges) and swells (fears larger than life) that seem to have so much power, and if we allow them to, they will intimidate us and keep us sidelined on the beach. However, if we want to have a fully expressed life, we are going to have to get wet and wade out into the surf. Yes, from time to time, we all have those waves that simply seem to overwhelm us. Sister Mary was born in 1929 and knew she wanted to be a nurse early in her life.  In January 1949 she joined Little Company of Mary which is coming up to 70 years of service.  In this interview we talk about her early life and memories of the first radio her family purchased, the Great Depression, the start of World War II and at age 16 her first experience of being with someone who died while she was working as a nurse caring for them.  We then talk about what she has learned through a life of service and in particular about light and love.  This is a most unusual interview and one I think is particularly powerful so I hope you enjoy it. Our core beliefs make up who we are, determine how we interact with life, how life interacts with us and serve as the precipice for the upcoming experiences our lives. The question someone must ask of themselves is, is what I state I believe congruent with the out-picturing of my beliefs? As, that which we believe, is all we shall receive. Financial freedom is a state of mind born out of a consciousness, which knows divine Source only knows abundance. Therefore, lack and limitation do not and cannot exist within an individuals experience when ideas, worries or beliefs of lack and limitation do not exist within the consciousness of the individual. You are born to create and live a life of peace and ease. Right now, you have all you need to create the abundance you want!
