There are many people who claim to be Christians and who live like their faith is completely wrapped up in a political viewpoint rather than in Jesus Christ Himself. When we preach the words of Christ, we may be hated by others, but we are still called to share the Gospel no matter what the consequences because to die for Christ, not some other controversial topic, is gain.
Deacon Dan Diesel proclaims the Gospel (John 1:1-18) and breaks open the word on Christmas Day. Words for your Way from Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church in Lake Forest, California.

You shine the light when you share the Gospel.
In this worship, Rev. Larry Rice explains how the good news of the Great Commission changes the world around us. Pastor Chris Aaron Rice teaches us what it means to preach the word of God with our actions as well as the scriptures.
As the body of believers who make up the Church, proclaiming the Good News isn't about having an audience, but in the conduct of how we live and act in society. If we were no longer in our communities, would they miss us? If not, are we really living in a way that proclaims the Gospel to them? In this episode of CPXL, we look at how the church can reclaim what it truly means to proclaim the Gospel. Not just as individuals, but as the unified Body of Christ.2 Peter 1:9-10But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

This morning we were thinking about sharing the Good News of Jesus as Bekah spoke on Acts 8:26-40 where four things came together and a man's life was changed forever: the power of the Spirit, the power of the word, the power of Jesus, and the importance of us. The post Acts 8:26-40 – Sharing the Good News of Jesus appeared first on Elmdon Church, Solihull.
Together Group Questions What fears or concerns keep you from sharing the Good News? If you knew for certain Christ was coming back tomorrow. How would you respond? Would you be willing to share how the Gospel has impacted your life with the group? Stop and think who should be on your prayer list. If comfortable share these names with the group and ask God for boldness, opportunities and Holy Spirit leading.

Most Christians don't know how to talk about Jesus. They know they ought to share their faith, but evangelism methods feel awkward and pushy. Feeling guilty and discouraged, many believers simply avoid the subject altogether. But what if there was a simple, normal way to introduce people to Jesus, without sounding like you're selling something? David McIver shares from his book "Looking for the One: Stories of Seeing the Lost, Lonely, and Broken Through the Eyes of Jesus." Find out more about the Salvation Poem here. There are several groups of people who used to say they'd never become religious, never darken the door of a church building, never be caught carrying a Bible. Today, we call one of those groups “believers” . . . another of those groups “pastors” . . . and another group “evangelists.” Pastor Greg Laurie is a member of all three groups! And today on A NEW BEGINNING, he brings us good encouragement about sharing the Good News with people who need to hear some good news.
