John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. I think this is one of the most amazing statements about Jesus in the Bible. Commentator Arthur Pink wrote that in this verse we see Jesus' relation to time, to the Godhead, and to the Trinity. Each reality is important. The first declares that Jesus is eternal. He already existed before the beginning of all things. The second reality is that He is the Word, “the spokesman of God, and the One who spelled out the Deity, and One who has declared or told forth the Father” (Arthur Pink). The writer of Hebrews in 1:2-3 described Jesus as the One through whom God spoke and the exact representation of His glory. Jesus could say, “If you've seen me, you've seen the Father” (John 14:9). The third reveals that the Son is separate from God the Father and the Holy Spirit because He was with God. It also reveals that Jesus was and is always in the presence of God. And fourth, Jesus was God. Only one who is God can exactly express or reveal all of God. Jesus is God manifested. Expressing and revealing that great truth was the goal of John's gospel. My vision for the live to love scripture encouragements isn't to give an exhaustive commentary on each scripture. It's to draw from each verse an encouragement to live to love with Jesus as our purpose in life. I will argue that the primary way God receives glory in His people is by their living to love with Jesus. Then I will make an appeal for you to embrace God's call to walk in love with Him. Jesus was God, yet separate from God, and His purpose in coming to earth could be described this way. He came to glorify His Father by living to love with the Father, in the power of the Holy Spirit. John's conclusion after knowing Jesus was that God is love (1 John 4:8). Jesus came to earth to reveal that God is love by loving with the Father. He died, was raised, and ascended to the Father in order to come be with us so we could glorify the Father as we live to love with Him. Our encouragement today is that as believers in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we have living with us He who in the beginning was the Word. He who lives in us lives in the presence of God and is God. We have God, who is love, living His life in us. This is the message of John's gospel. It's great news, and so we are not living for God, but He is living for us. As we will see in the next few days, Jesus alone is life. May we walk today in reverence and awe, showing our gratitude to God for giving us life by living to love with Jesus, for the glory of God. I invite you to become a partner in our ministry. Would you pray about becoming a regular supporter of Elijah Ministries and the Live to Love with Jesus ministry? I hope you will receive the joy and benefit of “giving it forward,” so others may receive encouragement to turn their hearts to God and to live to love with Jesus. Increase Your Impact with Justin Su'a | A Podcast For Leaders
In this episode, I talk about how greatness is communicated in everything you do.
Standards are non-negotiable when it comes to creating really deep and fulfilling relationships. Standards and boundaries are NOT the same thing. They are both foundational but they are different. Boundaries must be communicated verbally. Your standards are expressed energetically. They are also a reflection of the level of emotional intelligence you hold. The standards that you hold are truly a reflection of what you believe: ✨About yourself ✨About your self-worth ✨About what you deserve in life They will always reflect that. The hard truth: the lower your self worth, the lower your standards will be. As you do the work to heal core wounding and really to shift the way that you see yourself, you will learn how to hold the frequency of: “I am worthy, I deserve X, Y and Z in my life” It's not enough to simply say those words. You must truly hold this energetic belief in yourself. This is the type of work I do with my clients - I can help you unwind old paradigms and rewrite new beliefs that will allow you to unlock your dream life. This is actually my super power

Acts 14:1-28 Now at Iconium they entered together into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers. So they remained for a long time, speaking boldly for the Lord, who bore witness to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. But the people of the city were divided; some sided with the Jews and some with the apostles. When an attempt was made by both Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to mistreat them and to stone them, they learned of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding country, and there they continued to preach the gospel. Now at Lystra there was a man sitting who could not use his feet. He was crippled from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul speaking. And Paul, looking intently at him and seeing that he had faith to be made well, said in a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet.” And he sprang up and began walking. And when the crowds saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in Lycaonian, “The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!” Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker. And the priest of Zeus, whose temple was at the entrance to the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates and wanted to offer sacrifice with the crowds. But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they tore their garments and rushed out into the crowd, crying out, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men, of like nature with you, and we bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them. In past generations he allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways. Yet he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good by giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.” Even with these words they scarcely restrained the people from offering sacrifice to them. But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead. But when the disciples gathered about him, he rose up and entered the city, and on the next day he went on with Barnabas to Derbe. When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God. And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed. Then they passed through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia. And when they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia, and from there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work that they had fulfilled. And when they arrived and gathered the church together, they declared all that God had done with them, and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. And they remained no little time with the disciples. 1- They shared the gospel and formed disciples. 2- They strengthened the brothers in the faith. 3- They created and organized churches. 4- Communicated reports and gave accounts to the church. Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes pondered whether the Bears have informed quarterback Justin Fields that he won't be traded as the team decides what to do with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
This is the 10 of Diamonds from the Selling Value card deck. You should reveal the price only after the value is communicated. What happens is, when our buyers hear the price, at that moment, they're making a decision. Is the price too high or too low? Is it worth it? What decision am I going to make? Am I going to spend more time with this? Now, what typically happens is, imagine you're going to buy a pair of Levi's at the retail store, and you walk into the store and you see the price is $60. Well, no one communicated the value to you, but you probably already had a pretty good feeling for what the value of Levi's really is to you. And so, you know if that price is high or low, and if it's worth it to you. But now, imagine you're a B2B salesperson and you walk in the door and you say, 'Our product is a hundred thousand dollars.' And the buyer instantly says, 'Don't have the budget. That's too expensive. Not going to buy it.' And they don't pay attention anymore. You are done working with that buyer. But if instead, we spent the time to say, 'What problems are you truly trying to solve? What's the value to the company if we can solve those problems?' And you find out that the value to the company is truly a million or 10 million dollars. Then when you say the number a hundred thousand, they say, 'Oh, that's probably worth it. Let's see if we can figure out how to do that.' It completely changes the perception in the buyer's mind. So, what we have to do is make sure our buyers have a good understanding of what the value of our solution truly is before we tell them the price. We hope you enjoy this example of Pricing Table Topics. What you just heard was done without a script. If you want to get better at speaking about pricing and value, grab a deck of our cards, pick a card, read the saying, then talk for one to two minutes about what the card says. You will become a better speaker and expert. If you have any questions or feedback, please email me, mark@impactpricing.com. Now, go make an impact.
