And Kirby has plans for the future, including an expanded menu (can you say sandwiches and coffee), and an expanded building. Jesus tells us the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matthew 13, and this helps us understand the situation we are living in now. The Body of Christ represents the wheat, and the devil and all of his companions represent the tares. The good is currently intertwined with evil - but God is working on separating the wheat from the tares. God is shaking, sifting, and shifting so many things right now, and many of us feel it.
