What compels someone to spend a lifetime proclaiming the gospel? On this episode of Give Me Liberty, Ryan Helfenbein sits down with legendary evangelist Ray Comfort, founder of Living Waters, to hear the remarkable story behind his new autobiography, Compelled: My Story.Ray shares how he went from growing up in New Zealand with virtually no Christian influence to becoming one of the world's best-known evangelists. He explains why the fear of God, the reality of hell, and the urgency of eternity should motivate Christians to boldly share the gospel.Ray also discusses his approach to evangelism, overcoming fear, using God's law to expose sin, the importance of preaching the full gospel, his experiences speaking at Turning Point USA events, and why Christians must take the Great Commission seriously.*Like*, share, & subscribe* for more!*Follow Us!*https://twitter.com/@freedomcenterluhttps://instagram.com/freedomcenterluhttps://facebook.com/@freedomcenterluVisit us at https://standingforfreedom.com*REGISTER FOR FREEDOM UNCENSORED 2026!*https://standingforfreedom.com/events/freedom-uncensored/

Ray Comfort is just like us! Why? Because he is also doomscrolling and completely at the mercy of his algorithm. You can tell what Comfort has been watching online because it becomes the inspiration for his daily sermons, posted on the Living Waters website and YouTube channel. Right now, Ray Comfort is clearly being haunted by none other than Rowan Atkinson and his extremely famous comedy alter ego, Mr. Bean. The first Comfort video we noticed about Mr. Bean, featuring the charming clickbait title "After Mr. Bean Horribly Mocks God, This Immediately Happened," takes aim at an Atkinson stand-up special in which he takes some frankly unoriginal potshots at Christianity in general. But it must have stirred something deep within Comfort, who only a few weeks later uploaded a new one called "Mr. Bean's AMAZING Skit on Hell. He Got so Much Right." This tactic of feigning support for an enemy's message is typical of Comfort's usual rhetoric; in this case, Comfort ironically praises Atkinson's accuracy in depicting the biblical portrayal of hell, feeling the facts are bleak enough that Christians can use Atkinson's skit as a warning. Comfort also criticizes comedians, asking why they mock Jesus yet stay silent on the Muslim prophet Mohammad. It's a bizarre callout: not only were several employees of French humor magazine Charlie Hebdo famously murdered for making inappropriate jokes about Islam, there are also several high-profile shows that have taken aim at Islam, such as South Park. Ray shows that his media awareness is laser focused on his own biases. But he's also focused on something else: in a stunning lore drop, Ray Comfort reveals that he is deeply fixated on the historical tragedy of the Titanic. In his words, there is an entire room in his "mind palace" devoted to the Titanic, the enormity of which "clouds even his sunny days." It says a lot that Comfort, who takes pains to remind us that hell will be "eternal conscious torment," is also fascinated by the doomed expedition of the Titanic. His fascination with Mr. Bean will surely die down soon, but for the Titanic, Ray Comfort's heart will go on. Today, I'm reacting to old videos of me from across the decades. Growing Pains, Fireproof, Left Behind, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Star Struck, Touched by an Angel, and the banana that made Ray Comfort famous for all the wrong reasons. I get into the trick my acting coach used to make me cry on cue, the TV screen nobody on set could break, the Fireproof scene I shot with an actor I've still never met, and the guy from Santa Monica Pier we ran into two years later with a Bible in his hand. Some of it holds up. Some of it made me want to hide. All of it took me back. Which one do you remember? Tell me in the comments, and keep the faith. Welcome to Be Bold for Jesus MinistriesToday's Message: "When Faithfulness Feels Forgotten"Speaker: Lee Arnold LiveScripture: Jeremiah 45:1–5Have you ever thought, "Lord, I've been faithful... so why does it feel like everyone else is getting aheadexcept me?" Jeremiah 45 is the shortest chapter in the book, but it contains a powerful lesson for anyone who feelsoverlooked, discouraged, or forgotten. It centers on Baruch, Jeremiah's behind-the-scenes secretary. After years of faithful service, Baruch hit a breaking point amid national collapse. God met his discouragement byexposing his heart: "Do you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not." God wasn't rebuking success; He was rebuking self-centered ambition. Sometimes God's greatest blessing is teaching usthat His glory is greater than our recognition.Key Takeaways & ReflectionVisibility vs. Significance: God notices the vital work done behind the scenes. Heaven's Hall of Fame isfilled with people most have never heard of.Faithful People Get Discouraged: Discouragement isn't proof you are outside God's will; sometimes itmeans you are right in the middle of it.Success is Obedience: Kingdom success is measured by obedience, not earthly applause or results. The Ultimate Reward: The greatest reward for serving God is not what He gives us—it is God Himself.Questions to Ask: What area am I refusing to surrender? Am I mistaking God's patience for Hispermission? If God removed everything except Himself, would He still be enough? Our mission is to equip believers to live boldly for Christ with discernment, obedience, andunwavering trust in God. Led by Lee and Jaclyn Arnold, we teach God's Word with clarity andconviction, challenging believers to surrender fully to His will.Be Bold for Jesus Conference 2026Dates: October 2–3, 2026 | Spokane, WashingtonJoin thousands of believers for powerful worship and biblical teaching. You’d think that seeing the Red Sea split in two, or watching fire fall from heaven, or hearing the audible voice of God would cause someone to behave wisely. But no! These stories aren’t just ancient history—they’re warnings, lessons, and yes, sometimes tragic comedies that speak to our modern messes. As you’ll see, spiritual stupidity isn’t limited by era. Yet, through it all, we’re reminded that God is holy, merciful, and not to be trifled with.Become a Parshall Partner: http://moodyradio.org/donateto/inthemarket/partnersSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Popular apologist, evangelist, and television host Ray Comfort joins Greg to discuss his eye-opening book, Idiotic Things People Did in the Bible (Three Sixteen Publishing). In it, Ray revisits some of Scripture's most shocking, foolish, and downright jaw-dropping moments—stories that leave us wondering, “What were they thinking?”But this conversation goes far deeper than Bible trivia.Ray explains how these infamous failures reveal the seriousness of sin, the holiness of God, and the desperate condition of the human heart. More importantly, they spotlight the breathtaking mercy and grace of a God who redeems broken people again and again. With his trademark clarity and evangelistic urgency, Ray helps listeners see that the “idiots” in Scripture aren't just characters in ancient stories—they're mirrors reflecting our own tendencies toward pride, compromise, and unbelief. And that's where the gospel shines brightest.

It's Friday, January 30th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian activists call for self-defense measures for Christians In the middle of the night, Islamic Fulani militias brutally killed seven Nigerian Christian men in a coordinated attack on a mining site in the Plateau State, reports International Christian Concern. The incident has reignited long-standing fears of targeted violence against Christian communities and intensified calls for lawful self-defense amid persistent insecurity. Military sources confirmed that the attack occurred at about 1 a.m. last Thursday when Islamic Fulani militias stormed the site, opening fire on miners who had remained overnight. At the graveside, grief gave way to anger, frustration, and an unmistakable sense of abandonment. Weeping relatives and neighbors spoke of fathers and sons lost — not in open combat, but while struggling to survive in an economy that has pushed many into mining at night which has been banned. Human rights advocate Alex Barbir said, “This is no longer just about illegal mining. It is about our people being hunted in the night, killed without mercy, and buried without justice. How long do we continue to die quietly?” He argued that communities must be empowered to defend themselves where the state has repeatedly failed to provide adequate security. Rev. Dachomo agreed, saying, “We preach peace, but peace must not mean surrender to slaughter.  The right to life is sacred, and protecting that life is not a crime.” Anglican pastor protests confirmation of woke female Archbishop of Canterbury The formal confirmation of Sarah Mullally as the new Anglican archbishop of Canterbury was interrupted when a bold pastor publicly objected and was forcibly removed from the service, reports LifeSiteNews.com. On Wednesday, during the Confirmation of Election service for Sarah Mullally at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, Anglican pastor Paul Williamson stood up and shouted his objection after the officiant falsely declared that no opposition had been presented, leading to his restraint and removal from the cathedral by security personnel. Listen. OFFICIANT: “Endorsed on this mandate is a certificate which verifies that public notice was duly given as required and that no person has appeared in opposition to the confirmation.” WILLIAMSON: “I did!” (rest of audio undiscernible) Williamson claimed he was "nearly pushed down the stairs" outside by "four heavies" during his removal from the cathedral on Wednesday. Williamson's protest highlighted ongoing divisions over Mullally's appointment within the Anglican Communion, which has been fracturing for years over sexuality and gender.  1 Corinthians 14:24 says, “Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says.” On January 26, 2015, during the consecration service at York Minster for Libby Lane, who was to become the Church of England's first female bishop, Williamson was the lone dissenting voice when the gathered clergy were asked whether she should be ordained. And, in 2005, Williamson protested against the legality of the marriage of Charles, Prince of Wales to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, reported The Guardian. Trump warns Iran 'time is running out' as US military builds up in Gulf President Donald Trump has warned Iran that "time is running out" to negotiate a deal on its nuclear program following the steady build-up of US military forces in the Gulf, reports the British Broadcasting Corporation. The US president said a "massive Armada" was "moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose" towards Iran, referring to a large US naval fleet. In response, Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, said the country's armed forces were ready "with their fingers on the trigger" to "immediately and powerfully respond" to any aggression by land or sea. Trump's latest warning follows his promise that Washington will intervene to help those involved in the brutal and unprecedented crackdown on protests in the country earlier this month. Demonstrations began after a sharp fall in the value of the Iranian currency, but swiftly evolved into a crisis of legitimacy for the country's clerical leadership of the Islamic regime. Apple cider vinegar was sprayed on Rep. Ilhan Omar A man accused of attacking Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, a Somali-American, during a town hall event on Tuesday reportedly sprayed apple cider vinegar on her, reports Fox News. Anthony James Kazmierczak, age 55, was seen on video lunging at Congresswoman Omar while spraying an unknown substance on her shirt out of a syringe. Right before the attack, Omar called for the resignation or impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, following two fatal shootings involving federal immigration enforcement agents in Minneapolis. Listen to the lead up to the attack. OMAR: “DHS Secretary Kristi Noem must resign or face impeachment.” (audio of attack) At the time of the attack, Kazmierczak said, “She's not resigning. You're splitting Minnesotans apart,” according to The Western Journal. Man paints over heretical billboard to read 'Jesus is God' A viral video shows a man painting over a heretical billboard campaign in California, altering the message to read, “The Bible says … Jesus is ___ God,” reports The Christian Post. The undated video shows an unidentified man atop a billboard platform with the Los Angeles skyline behind it as he paints over the word “Not” in the ad which had initially stated “Jesus is Not God”, transforming the billboard into a proclamation of faith.  World's Last Chance, the group behind the billboard, claims the message is part of “four billboard themes that dare to shatter the chains of long-held misconceptions.” In addition to the Jesus billboard, which adds the text, “Jesus did not pre-exist in Heaven,” the group's website lists three others, including one that attacks Trinitarian theology and another promoting the so-called “flat earth” theory. In addition to the billboard campaign, the World's Last Chance website features several videos purportedly “debunking” the deity of Jesus and the Trinity.  The billboard campaign has been reportedly spotted in California, Georgia, and other states. In a January 21st video, author and Living Waters founder and CEO Ray Comfort responded to the billboard remodeling job with a stark warning about the impact of false teaching in the public square. Listen. COMFORT: “These signs have been erected by a strange sect that claims to believe the Scriptures, yet openly denies the deity of Christ -- a contradiction the Bible doesn't permit. “Scripture plainly teaches that God was manifest in the flesh [1 Timothy 3:16] and that Jesus Christ is ‘the image of the invisible God' [Colossians 1:15] and ‘the express image of His person.' [Hebrews 1:3] Jesus Himself said, ‘I came down from Heaven,' [John 6:38] and ‘Before Abraham was, I am' [John 8:58], a direct claim to deity that His hearers understood clearly. “He is not merely a moral teacher or a created being, but the Creator Himself. ‘For all things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made.' [John 1:3] The Bible warns that any teaching that denies the Son is not from God.  ‘Who is a liar? He that denies that Jesus is the Christ, he is the Antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son.' [1 John 2:22]. This is the spirit of antichrist, which John says was already active in his day and continues now.” [1 John 4:2-3] Updated link to children's book on Martin Luther's wife And finally, yesterday, as we noted the 427th anniversary of the birthday of Martin Luther's wife, Katherine von Bora, I referenced a beautifully illustrated children's book entitled Katharine von Bora: The Morning Star of Wittenberg. Written by twins Jenna and Shanna Strackbein, I initially linked to Amazon if you wanted to purchase it.  However, because they have not restocked the book, you can get a copy through Generations. Scott Brown, Director of Church and Family Life, wrote, “When I read it to my grandchildren, I choked up a few times encountering the beauty of marriage and the wonderful way Katy served the Lord in her generation. Now she was inspiring the rising generation of my own family. What a blessing!" Does “belief alone” actually save — or has modern Christianity watered down the gospel? In this episode, I'm joined by legendary evangelist Ray Comfort to tackle repentance, false conversions, the sinner's prayer, and eternal judgment. We unpack where modern evangelism goes wrong, why skipping sin and God's holiness weakens the message, and how everyday Christians — including busy moms — can confidently start gospel conversations with unbelievers and the “spiritual but not religious.”Thank you to our sponsors!TAYLOR DUKES WELLNESS — Use code ALEXCLARK for 10% offPRIMALLY PURE — Use code ALEXCLARK for 15% offA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICS — Use code ALEX for 25% off first-time ordersPALEOVALLEY — Use code ALEX for 15% off your first orderJOOVV — Get an exclusive discount on your first red light therapy orderGEVITI — Use code ALEX for 20% off your first purchaseOur Guest:Ray ComfortRay's Links:WEBSITEINSTAGRAMFACEBOOKPODCASTX

Does the Bible Teach that Hell is Eternal or Temporal for Unbelievers?

Send us a textGuest: Todd Friel, host Wretched TV and Radio ProgramsThere are many fiery situations in the world right now. In Iran, millions have been on the streets protesting with thousands killed by the Shia Islamist regime led by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who is on the brink of being ousted due to economic decline and repressive rule. This situation has significant ramifications for stability in the Middle East and even the end times. Here in my home state of Minnesota, violent confrontations continue against ICE agents by protesters and paid agitators and rioters, as agents search for and arrest illegal immigrants. President Trump has stated he is considering employing the Insurrection Act to use military force to quell the obstruction and violence which has been incited by MN Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. There are other fires—in Venezuela after the U.S. captured their Communist narco-terrorist president Nicolas Maduro; in England and Australia which are threatening and arresting their own citizens for social media content against Islam; in Ukraine where the intractable, deadly war with Russia continues. And yet all these fires at home and abroad are far less significant and lasting than what the Bible describes as the “unquenchable fire” of hell.Hell is an issue that is almost unspeakable, and rightly so, because of the horror of what it is—eternal conscious torment for all who have rejected God by not believing in His Son's substitutionary death and resurrection on the sinner's behalf. In fact, the final destination for non-believers is described this way in Revelation 20: “if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”Because hell is so horrific and never ending, there are many who question God's character in sending people there. They say, “I know sin offends the holy God, but punishment for eternity in hell is disproportionate to the crime.”Kirk Cameron, actor and Christian influencer and author, who has worked and associated with many sound Christians like Ray Comfort, Ken Ham, and John MacArthur, announced on his podcast recently that he no longer believes that hell is eternal conscious torment but rather that an unbeliever is eventually annihilated. In other words, unbelievers do go to hell for punishment but at some point they go out of existence. This is certainly not the first time the eternality of hell has been challenged and it won't be the last. Todd Friel, pastor of Alpharetta Bible Church in Georgia and host of Wretched, which produces radio and TV programs, joins us this weekend to examine what the Bible teaches about hell. Is hell being eternal an important doctrine to stand firm on? Is there a biblical basis that unbelievers are annihilated in hell, in light of what Jesus said in John 10, “fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”?We hope you join us for this important discussion.

It's Monday, December 22nd, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Five Iranian Christians sentenced to 10-year prison term Five Iranian Christians were sentenced to an average of 10 years in prison for “propaganda” and “collusion” for practices such as prayer and baptism, and for distributing Bibles and Christian literature, reports International Christian Concern. Matthew 5:10 says, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.” Though the verdict was given on October 21, it was not communicated to any of the prisoners until late November and early December. They have been given 20 days to appeal their case before the Revolutionary Court of Tehran. US launches strikes on Syria in response to killing of 2 American soldiers Vengeance struck in Syria Friday as U.S. forces attacked Islamic State targets in retaliation for an attack that killed three Americans last week, reports The Western Journal. A U.S. military official said F-15 and A-10 warplanes, Apache attack helicopters, and HIMARS rockets struck multiple targets, according to the Wall Street Journal. On X, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth wrote, “Earlier today, U.S. forces commenced OPERATION HAWKEYE STRIKE in Syria to eliminate ISIS fighters, infrastructure, and weapons sites in direct response to the attack on U.S. forces that occurred on December 13th in Palmyra, Syria. This is not the beginning of a war — it is a declaration of vengeance.” Hegseth added, “The United States of America, under President Trump's leadership, will never hesitate and never relent to defend our people. As we said directly following the savage attack, if you target Americans — anywhere in the world — you will spend the rest of your brief, anxious life knowing the United States will hunt you, find you, and ruthlessly kill you. Today, we hunted and we killed our enemies. Lots of them. And we will continue.” Netanyahu plans to brief Trump on possible new Iran strikes Israeli officials have grown increasingly concerned that Iran is expanding production of its ballistic missile program, which was damaged by Israeli military strikes earlier this year, reports NBC News.   Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is preparing to brief President Donald Trump about attacking Iran again. Israeli officials also are concerned that Iran is reconstituting nuclear enrichment sites the U.S. bombed in June. But, they added, the officials view Iran's efforts to rebuild facilities where they produce the ballistic missiles and to repair its crippled air defense systems as more important. RFK Jr calls mutilating “sex-rejecting” trans procedures malpractice Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced Thursday that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is taking steps to push back against what he described as "sex-rejecting" transgender procedures for minors, reports The Christian Post. During an hour-long press conference, he warned, "So-called 'gender-affirming care' has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage on vulnerable young people. This is not medicine; it is malpractice." KENNEDY: “We're done with junk science, drive by ideological pursuits, not the wellbeing of children.” Kennedy said the proposed HHS rules, which are subject to a 60-day comment period, would bar hospitals participating in Medicare and Medicaid from performing transgender procedures on children, citing risks of irreversible harm such as infertility, impaired sexual function, bone density loss and altered brain development. He added, "Sex-rejecting procedures are neither safe nor effective treatment for children with gender dysphoria.” Abortions up as abortion pills flourish, Democrat states fund killing babies Last week, the Society of Family Planning released updated abortion data which documented over 591,000 abortions were performed in the first six months of 2025, reports LifeNews.com. This represents a 1.1 percent increase when compared to the first six months of 2024. Two state Medicaid programs have recently started to fund elective surgical abortions. Nevada's Medicaid program began covering elective abortions in mid-December of 2024, and Delaware's Medicaid program started covering elective abortions as of January 1, 2025. Not surprisingly, there has been an uptick in abortions in those states – an increase by 8% in Nevada and 10% in Delaware. However, the main takeaway from this new WeCount data is that the percentage of chemical abortions done via telehealth continues to increase. In the first six months of 2024, just under 20 percent of all abortions were done via telehealth. That figure increased to 27 percent for the first six months of 2025. Telehealth abortions are undermining the strong pro-life laws that many states enacted in the aftermath of the Dobbs decision. Isaiah 59:7 says, “Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways.” Preventing telehealth abortions needs to be a top priority for the pro-life movement. State attorneys general in Florida and Texas have recently sued the Food and Drug Administration over policy changes regarding chemical abortions. Kirk Cameron's follow-up podcast on annihilationism Kirk Cameron's recent 39-minute podcast in which he supported annihilationism has created quite a bit of controversy. In the opening to a 16-minute follow-up podcast, Cameron said this. CAMERON: “No doubt you've caught wind of the controversy that's swirling around. Let me ask you a question, and I want you to imagine that this question is not coming from me on a podcast, but from someone you love. “What if your son or your daughter looked you in the eye and said, ‘Dad, Mom, I know you believe in hell. I know you believe that God is just. I know you believe that sin is serious. And I know that Jesus is the only way to Heaven. “So, when a unrepentant person, who doesn't turn to Jesus, dies, what does the Bible actually say happens to them? Are they preserved forever and kept alive by God in a place of endless conscious torment, suffering forever, weeping and wailing and gnashing their teeth with no end? “‘Or is the judgment that Scripture describes something different? Is it still real, still just, still severe, but culminating in what the Bible calls death, destruction, or the second death, which is the lake of fire?' “What would your answer be? I'm not asking for what you've always believed or been taught, but what do you believe the Scriptures actually teach? That's the question that my son asked me, and that's the question that started this conversation.” Cameron's support for annihilationism has sparked debate in Evangelical circles. Longtime ministry partner Ray Comfort, founder of Living Waters and co-host with Cameron on The Way of the Master, responded thoughtfully. “While we believe Kirk is sincere, we believe that conditional mortality and annihilationism are erroneous views, and that the Bible's clear teaching on hell is known as eternal conscious torment,” according to GodReports.com. Other voices, including commentators Samuel Sey and theologian Owen Strachan, expressed concern, viewing the shift as departing from historic Christian teaching. Yet some see growing interest in annihilationism as a biblically grounded alternative that reconciles God's love with His judgment. The Christmas season is about far more than trees, lights, and tinsel. It's a fulfillment of prophecy and promise. On this third installment of "Jesus and the Prophecies of Christmas," we're exploring the purpose of Jesus' birth and what the Old Testament prophecies predicted hundreds of years before the nativity. There's a reason the Christmas story has resonated and resounded for more than two millennia – it's a story for every man, woman, and child who has ever lived. Skeptics and others often ask “why” — why did an all-powerful God want to send his own son to the manger and then ultimately the cross? We address that and more in this episode. Join Greg Laurie, Jeff Kinley, Ray Comfort, Jesse Bradley, Shane Idleman, and CBN's Billy Hallowell for this must-hear conversation. And on the next episode of "Jesus and the Prophecies of Christmas" — the finale airing December 21 — we'll take a look at God's promises to King David and we'll jump back into the nativity story to see some of the other powerful and prophetic messages delivered to some key figures who don't often get attention.

He will take us on a totally honest, occasionally funny, and always eye-opening journey through some of the most idiotic blunders ever recorded in human history. Segment 1 • Alex admits he's agnostic, has used God's name in vain, and is living in sexual sin. • Ray walks him through the Ten Commandments to show his guilt before God. • Ray also speaks with student Val who claims to be a bisexual and questions the Bible's stance on homosexuality. Segment 2 • Saul challenges God's justice, asking why an all-powerful God would allow suffering. • Ray exposes Saul's own sin using the law, then warns of God's wrath and points to Jesus as the only escape. • Saul remains defiant, claiming fear of death doesn't prove God—but admits he is afraid to die. Segment 3 • A group of students challenge Ray on murder, immigration, LGBTQ issues, and abortion. • Ray stands firm: all sin must be judged, but forgiveness is freely offered through repentance and faith in Christ. • Ray consistently redirects to the gospel, urging students to consider their eternal state and the gift of salvation. Segment 4 • Ray talks with student Jake who says he “grew up Catholic”. • Another student, Sophia, challenges Ray on the propriety of the death penalty. • Ray turns Sophia's challenges back to the law and the gospel. ___ Thanks for listening! Send us a textGuest: Mark Spence, Evangelist and Senior VP, Living WatersWhile he was imprisoned in Rome and shortly before being martyred, the apostle Paul, in some of his final words to his understudy pastor Timothy, exhorted him to “be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry” (2 Timothy 4:5).After Christ rose rose from the grave and ascended to heaven, His followers couldn't stop speaking the good news and saving message that “there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).Evangelism, explaining the good news of the gospel to others, is more than a command for the Christian—it should be a response of gratitude to God for personal salvation and an act of love toward others who need salvation more than anything. Think about this—Christians have the great privilege of being used by God as He redeems souls from destruction to glory! But opening up our mouths with the gospel has its difficulties. We're not quite sure how to transition a conversation from the temporal to the eternal. We're concerned how unbelievers—or our family members—will respond. Or, we conclude that “evangelism is for those with the gift.”Mark Spence is an evangelist with the ministry Living Waters, which “seeks to train the members of Christ's Body in the principles of biblical evangelism and to provide them with practical tools to proclaim the gospel.” This past week, the Living Water team of Ray Comfort, Emeal Zwayne, Mark Spence and others were invited by Turning Point USA to do an open-air Q and A and gospel presentation on the California State Fullerton campus.

Segment 1 • Voddie Baucham's legacy: a gospel preacher who made much of Christ, not himself. • His words at Shepherd's Conference remind us that preaching must center on Jesus. • The loss of giants like Voddie raises a question: are we valuing our local pastors as we should? Segment 2 • Voddie left strong opinions that challenged us, from Lord's Supper to worship practices. • His challenges forced believers to weigh Scripture over cultural norms. • Regulative vs. normative worship — his teaching pressed Christians toward biblical clarity. Segment 3 • Above all, Voddie loved proclaiming the gospel. • His appearances on The Biggest Question alongside Ray Comfort and E.Z. captured his heart for evangelism. • His passion was pointing people to Christ, not himself. Segment 4 • Voddie's teaching on righteousness: Christ's robe covers us completely. • He emphasized both Christ's active and passive obedience securing our salvation. • Repentance and faith remain central — essentials we too easily overlook today. ___ Thanks for listening!
