What a week. What a MESS. Pete's "undeniable victory" in Iowa becomes less undeniable and Senate Republicans (except for Mitt who we LOVE now) tell Trump he's above the law. Emily Heller joins to break down the Democratic debate in New Hampshire. Franklin Leonard talks about this Sunday's Oscars and how Hollywood is (and isn't) changing. And Louis Virtel's savant-like Oscar trivia skills are put to the TEST. Plus we manage to talk about Baby Nut, Hotel Lighting, Dua Lipa, and Netflix autoplay. At some point Jon sat on the floor and talked about going to the nurse's office in elementary school. Anyway it's been a week. Hope everyone took lots of pictures because that was the LAST Iowa caucus.

Should The King's Speech or The Artist have won Best Picture? Is Keanu Reeves really as bad as some would say (Point Break, Speed, The Matrix, John Wick...)? Will the Avatar sequels live up to such an extended wait? Can I revisit every Marvel Studios film before Infinity War hits theatres? Hollywood showcased its best at last Sunday's Oscars...oh wait, what the hell? Talk about plot twists! It's always a strange show but this year was one for the ages. So Neil Rosen, Bill McCuddy, Bill Bregoli and special guest Jack Rico throw off their tuxes and try to figure out what went wrong as well as if anything went right. Should Warren Beatty have brought his reading glasses? Is your money safe with Price Waterhouse Coopers? And will Jimmy Kimmel ever host again? Plus we review Brad Pitt's "Allied," "Doctor Strange" and "Catfight" which stars Sandra Oh and Anne Heche (hats off to you if you remember them). It's weird, it's wonderful and it's all right here.

After last week's blockbusters, this time we turn our attention to smaller fare: Sam enters a world of lesbian bondage and entomology lectures in The Duke of Burgundy, while Danny tries to get inside Joss Whedon's head to work out what he was thinking when he wrote the romantic drama In Your Eyes. Plus we discuss last Sunday's Oscars, discover a shocking secret in Will Smith's filmography, and spend 15 minutes arguing over what colour Danny's shirt is. This fifteenth episode of Film Chat has the wit of Groucho Marx, the cunning of Chico Marx, and the mischievous playfulness of Harpo Marx -- in fact if the whole thing reminds you of the fifteenth Marx Brothers film, Love Happy, you're not alone. This week on the show, we chit-chat about last Sunday's Oscars before getting into the topic at hand: Overlooked Science Fiction TV. We each selected a sci-fi series from the '90s that we feel has been somehow overlooked in the larger pop-culture spectrum: Earth 2, Kurt Vonnegut's Monkey House, and The Visitor. Do these shows hold-up now, or should we have left them be in the wasteland of television obscurity? To find out, download the link below, or better yet, subscribe on iTunes! Once again, Scott & Steve host the show without their redhead. Sadly, Dale was sick and missed the taping. It's super sad because you guys won't hear from him until late-March; the boy is on a plane to Ghana, Africa as we speak. But the boys somehow soldier on. Back in the studio in Washington, DC, there are tons of cruise ship stories from Scott & Steve's week; stories they didn't tell on Episode 215 and 216 that were taped on the RSVP cruise ship. Hear all about the insane antics of headliner Carrie Fisher; the nearly-naked theme parties; hanging out with Jonny McGovern and the other entertainers on the ship; and much more cruise craziness. Plus, we break down Sunday's Oscar telecast; talk about the Razzies; Jane Lynch is going to Broadway; recent crazy Jackson family news; Lisa Lampanelli's N-word controversy; and, much, much more. Also this week, we have our monthly segment from our resident gay manners expert Steven Petrow and a fun new pop song from up-and-coming singer Hailey Rowe, called, My Boyfriend is Gay. It's a fun little episode we think you'll enjoy. This week on the Swish Edition!
