¡Muy buenos días a todos! Hoy vengo a hablaros de películas de trading y es que no todo va a ser delante del ordenador, el móvil o la tablet mirando gráficos o programando. También os recomiendo ver algo alternativo o un libro de trading. En este caso, os recomendaré varias que creo que son buenas. De diferente tipología pero todas basándome en las finanzas. Empezaré por orden cronológico, es decir, de más vieja a más nueva 1- Wall Street (1987). Esta película es un clásico. Quién no la haya visto, creo que es una película recomendada para ver los tiburones que hay en el sector. Qué escrúpulos y cuales no tienen los grandes. En este caso el protagonista es Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) y todo esto pasa en Nueva York y la verdad es que cuando salió, creó un gran revuelo. A mi personalmente me impactó por ver la potencia y el impacto que tiene el poder, la riqueza y que como se estrella contra la simplicidad y la honestidad. Esta película tiene una secuela: Wall Street 2, el dinero nunca duerme (2010). 2- Rogue Trader (El gran farol) (1999). Bueno, este es otro ejemplo de antaño. Sin ninguna duda este caso, también real, demuestra la capacidad y astucia de los traders dentro de bancos, instituciones o brokers puede llegar a extremos muy muy altos. No os contaré la película, pero sinceramente creo que la tenéis que ver si queréis ver como antiguamente se hacían las inversiones y a parte, cual era la praxis de entonces. 3- En busca de la felicidad (2006). Bueno, para mi es LA película. No hablo solo del tema a tratar. Si no del actor que aparece, de las frases que deja y de como hace el director que no te aburras ni un solo segundo. Para mi una película extra-recomendada. Se ha de ver con las orejas muy abiertas para coger al vuelo cada una de las frases célebres que deja y ver como Will Smith hace una cosa bárbara. Pasar de la nada a ser único. A ser diferente. La verdad, es que es una de mis películas preferidas y sin duda, cada año la veo de nuevo para no perder las ganas y el empuje que me dio en su día. 4- Inside Job (2010). Es un documental que creo que exagera en algún punto sobre la explosión de la burbuja financiera del 2008. Es un documental relatado a través de entrevistas que explican y muestran como se vivió todo, con experiencias reales. Des de mi punto de vista es algo sesgado lo que se hace, aunque no deja de decir verdades como puños, depende de como se explique, puede incentivar una cosa u otra al espectador y creo que en esta película, lo que quieren es que veamos la cara más inhumana de los traders, analistas y sobretodo de las instituciones. A mi modo de ver, creo que se ha de ver, pero documentándose de forma paralela para saber realmente como pasó todo y conociendo más sobre cada entrevista. Porque como muchos periodistas hacen, sacan lo que más jugo hay para conseguir más ventas y en un caso muy serio como el de la crisis, creo que no se debería hacer. 5- Margin Call (2011).  Una película que explica como se inició el derrumbe del castillo de naipes financiero. Es decir, explica como sucedió, desde dentro, como lo vivió un operador institucional, la previsión de la explosión de la burbuja en el 2008. A ver, sinceramente la encontré un poco lenta en algunos momentos, aunque no dejo de recomendarla porque la encuentro interesante y porque también sale un actor que me gusta mucho (Kevin Spacey) y que bueno, no está de más ver desde otra perspectiva qué se vivió en esas frenéticas horas. 6- El lobo de Wall Street (2013). Bueno, esta película es más moderna. Una película donde Leonardo Dicaprio interpreta a Jordan Belfort, un broker que comisionaba de manera abismal (por eso lo de lobo de wall street) y que realmente no paraba de ganar dinero. Es un caso real también y demuestra hasta que punto una persona puede llegar de lo más alto, a creerse intocable. La recomiendo mucho, aunque comprar palomitas, ya que dura casi 3 horas. 7- La gran apuesta: The Big short (2015). Seguramente incitado por todo el abanico de famosos que salen en la película (Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Steve Carell), la fui a ver al cine y me quedé boquiabierto. Aunque también un poco lenta en algún punto, creo que esta película se ha de ver con paciencia y sobretodo con la mente abierta, ya que en algunos puntos el contenido es un poco denso. Pero insisto, creo que es la película más moderna de todas las que he dicho, pero sin duda, una de las más interesantes y no solo por el elenco de famosos que salen. Bueno, y como supongo que algunos diréis que sois más de series, no os preocupéis. Os digo también un par de recomendaciones que creo que es lo más cercano a estas películas. Para mi no son tan buenas, pero igualmente, me gustaría nombrarlas: 1- Wall Street Warriors (2006-2009). Esta miniserie de 3 temporadas es un documental mucho más focalizado a entender desde una vertiente no tan enfocada en vender si no en mostrar. Lo que repasan es como el poder define a Wall Street. No dejan títere con cabeza y explican todo con detalle. Aunque en algunos momentos es aburrida, te explica muy a fondo todo el mundo financiero. 2- Billions (2016 – ?).  Esta serie que sinceramente la encuentro muy buena, y con grandes personajes, trata de mostrar el poder que hay en las altas esferas financieras. Como unos intentan pisar a otros por dinero, exponiéndose en muchos casos a riesgos innecesarios. Pero lo hacen por dinero, por llegar a lo más arriba a costa de todo. Es recomendable porque es una serie que aún se está emitiendo y porque los actores son buenos, la actuación es muy buena y refleja el poder interno de las grandes instituciones. Una serie a tener en cuenta, pero no es de trading en concreto si no de empresas y ricos que se dedican al mundo del trading. Y bueno, creo que con todas estas películas y series ya tenéis para muuucho rato y para que os distraigáis este fin de semana. Sin duda, hay películas mejores que otras, pero todas se pueden ver con familia, con la pareja y disfrutando de un cine diferente. A lo financiero. ¡Y nada más!
