A five-word phrase repeats eighteen times at the climax of Sefer Shemos, and we think it is Torah's way of grabbing us by the shoulders. “Kasher Tziva Hashem Es Moshe” is written so often in Parashas Pekudei that it stops sounding like narration and starts sounding like a demand: Do you actually mean what you are doing, and can you finish what you started?We walk through why the Mishkan narrative keeps circling back to that same line through the lens of the Shulchan Aruch. One path is about depth: every mitzvah has layers, including hidden dimensions of Torah that most of us never see, yet we can still honor them through careful, faithful execution. Another path is about kavanah, the intention that turns an action from a shell into avodas Hashem. We connect it to mitzvos tzrichos kavanah, the halachic question of whether intention is required, and the simple practice of saying, even in your head, “I'm doing this because Hashem commanded.”From there, we bring it into real life: a small moment that sparked this whole rant, a story about Rav Eliyahu Lopian noticing workers stacking up mitzvos while missing the mindset, and a Chovos HaLevavos-based reminder that parnasa can be a mitzvah when it is done with awareness. What do you do with the brokenness you carry? Many of us try to cover it up, manage it, or pretend it isn't there. But in Luke 5, Jesus encounters two men whose lives were marked by deep need and suffering. One was covered in leprosy and rejected by society. The other was paralyzed and dependent on the faith of his friends. In both stories, Jesus reveals something powerful. He doesn't just address surface problems. He moves toward broken people, cleanses what is unclean, and heals what is deepest in the human heart. Jesus came to deal with our deepest problem, sin, and to restore what is broken inside of us. The invitation is the same today. Faith in Christ is more than belief—it is a life that demonstrates trust in Him through action. In the book of James, we see that trials give our faith a stage on which it can grow and mature. When believers encounter testing, they have an opportunity to stand firm in Christ and allow their faith to deepen.James reminds us that faith must move beyond simply hearing God's Word. Followers of Jesus are called to be doers of the Word, allowing the truth of Scripture to shape both their hearts and their actions. Genuine faith reveals itself in how we treat others, especially when it comes to favoritism. Showing partiality contradicts the character of God and is inconsistent with the gospel that calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves.Finally, James teaches that faith without action is dead. True faith produces visible fruit through compassion, generosity, and obedience. Every opportunity to serve others becomes a chance to demonstrate our trust in Christ. As believers grow in their relationship with Him, their faith becomes active, visible, and life-changing for the people around them.

Every summer we used to take a large delegation to a great youth conference in Ocean City, New Jersey. One of our veteran staff was in charge of that delegation, and it was a big responsibility at the shore. When my son was old enough to go to that conference, he commented on Greg's leadership. He said, "You know, Greg's really serious." Well my wife and I kind of laughed. We said, "Oh, you should hear some of the crazy things he's done down at Ocean City." And then my son said, "Not any more. He's in charge now." Well, my son was making a pretty valid observation. As your authority increases, so does your responsibility. Followers, I guess, can goof off, but leadership; oh, that's serious business. I'm Ron Hutchcraft and I want to have A Word With You today about "The Leadership Lifestyle." Now, our word for today from the Word of God is about leaders, and you might be one whether you realize it or not. Hebrews 13:17 - "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority." Now, I've always thought "Hey, wouldn't it be great to be one of those leaders? You get to be obeyed and submitted to." Yeah, wait until you hear the rest of the verse. "...they keep watch over you as men who must give an account." Whoa. That means that if you have anyone looking to you, you will one day have the privilege and the opportunity to explain to God what you did with those people. Man! "God, here's how I influenced those people and why they ended up as they did." Well see, God's looking for people that He can trust with a promotion. He's looking for teachers and leaders, and musicians, and shepherds for His Kingdom. And maybe He's trusted you with some influence: a class, or a study group, a church, maybe a musical ministry, a position of authority in God's work. Well, then, be careful how you live. You can do so much good, and you can do so much harm. In a letter that James Dobson wrote years ago he told about an incident that occurred when he went to a Christian book seller's convention and for the first time he saw all of his materials displayed and his picture all over the place. And he said, "I heard as it were almost an audible voice saying, 'Jim, look around you. I have chosen for reasons that you don't understand to make you visible and influential with My people. And in that sense, I am preparing to make the work of My Kingdom vulnerable to you. That's why I'm telling you to be careful; think before you act; hold a tighter reign on your tongue and on your thought life than ever before. When your natural impulse is to become angry or vindictive, resist the temptation as much as possible, and keep your life free of willful and deliberate sin. You will soon be in a position to hurt my people. See that it doesn't happen.'" Whew! Man! Now, you're not a Dobson, or some spiritual star perhaps, but maybe God's lifted you to a place where others are looking at you or to you. And it's exciting, but it's a heavy responsibility, one for which you must give account the Bible says. Exercise care in what you say, what you joke about. Be careful what you watch. Stop with the negative comments, the critical comments before anybody can hear them, those displays of anger. Not for you; not now. God has called you to some measure of leadership and the responsible lifestyle that goes with that. I think that's an awfully powerful incentive to be all you were meant to be in Christ. It's a good thing; a good reason to live up to what Jesus wants for all of His kids. But He has put trust in your hands. He's put His reputation in your hands. He has made His Kingdom vulnerable to you. You are in a position to hurt some of God's people. See that it doesn't happen.

The issue usually isn't that your content is bad — it's that your content is incomplete. Trust isn't built with one post. It's built through patterns of content that help your audience feel understood, supported, and confident that you can help them. If you're posting tips and you're not converting, it doesn't mean your content's bad. It usually means your content is incomplete… trust is built through patterns.   Authority Content: Showing You Know What You're Talking About Authority content proves you understand your audience's struggles and have a clear method to help them. But authority content isn't generic education — it's identifying patterns your audience keeps missing. Instead of sharing broad information, authority content diagnoses the real problem and introduces your approach to solving it. Authority content is… I see this pattern all the time, and here's what you need to do instead.   Proof Content: Showing That Your Method Works People don't buy because they believe your information. They buy because they believe in your results. Proof content builds trust by showing outcomes — through client wins, case studies, testimonials, or your own transformation. People don't buy because they believe in your information. They buy because they believe in your outcome.   Belief Content: What You Stand For Belief content is where you share what you stand for — and what you don't. This is the type of content that makes the right people say: "Oh my gosh, someone finally said it." Belief content positions you as a leader instead of just another coach sharing tips. Belief content is the content that makes people say… 'Oh my God, somebody finally said it.'   Objection Content: Addressing Why People Don't Buy Even people who like and trust you will still have objections before they invest. Common objections include: I don't have time I can't afford it I've tried everything before What if it doesn't work for me? Objection content addresses these concerns before they become a no. Objection content is where you address these before they become a no.   Invitation Content: Clearly Asking People to Take the Next Step This is where many coaches drop the ball. They share helpful content all week but never clearly invite people to work with them. Invitation content connects your content to your offer and clearly shows people how to move forward. Invitation content isn't pushy. It's clear… it's confidence… it's direct.   A Simple Weekly Content Strategy Rachel recommends rotating these five types of posts throughout the week so your audience constantly builds trust. Example structure: Monday — Authority content Tuesday — Proof content Wednesday — Belief content Thursday — Objection content Friday — Invitation content This keeps your audience warming up to your offer even when you're not launching. Your audience needs repetition… you're not looking for new constant ideas, you're looking for new angles on the same core problems.   The Biggest Content Mistake Coaches Make The biggest mistake Rachel sees coaches making is creating content that is: Too generic Too tip-based Too broad Not connected to their offer If your content isn't building authority, proof, belief, handling objections, or inviting action, it's likely just noise instead of strategy.
