Hey loves! Today I'm joined by Allyson Byrd. Enjoy this amazing episode! "We were talking about what really matters to us and I said, ‘I'm ready to be beyond the abandonment, shame, and rejection'. And someone sitting back there replied, ‘So then, what story are you willing to tell yourself about it?'" In today's episode, we talk about: How to move through abandonment How to make peace through the hardest times of your life How to author a new story Understanding how to give to yourself when you are overextending from a wounded place How to make peace with rejection, shame, and abandonment What overextension looks like when serving others to avoid your own self-love Reclaim and remember who you are at your core So many coaches show up to teach all the pitfalls to avoid in hopes of you curating maybe 10% more success in your life. That is until they tell you that barely the top 1% of people make it into the sacred rings of achievement. It's called motivational speaking but it sounds tragic AF, right? Well, after screwing up her life for over 20 years with multiple careers, failed business ideas, sad singleness, unhappy family, broken relationships, no money, living in a tiny apartment, and weighing in at 345lbs, Allyson discovered motivational speaking and how unmotivated she was when she heard it. She then read the Gandhi quote, “Be the change you wish to see in this world.”, and she decided to change the game. When Allyson speaks, she answers the question, “WHAT IF IT ALL GOES RIGHT?”. Through her own story, she shares how she made life way harder than it ever had to be. For decades she trash-talked and shamed herself, letting perfectionism, anxiety, people-pleasing, and other self-sabotaging habits take over until she hardly recognized herself. She says that if you saw her during those times, you'd say she was positive and cheerful, but inside she was relentlessly beating herself up and frustrated that life never went her way. Can you relate? The hard core truth is that inner peace is a lot of f*cking work but so is living in shame, overwhelm, lack, scarcity, or fear. We all get to choose our “hard” and Allyson is the master of teaching you how to do it with ease. Reinventing your life — getting what you really want in business, at home, and in your relationships may seem hard. It's not. You can do it. You just need to know how. Congratulations… you're in the bonus round of life where you manifested “Allyson!” Connect with Allyson: - Find Allyson on Instagram @iamallysonbyrd. - Check out her website here. Hey you wild women! Staying ahead of the marketing curve is always a great advantage. Getting clear on your strategy to actually create the conversion? That's the tough part. As small business owners, we often end up throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping something will stick - until the overwhelm sets in, sending us back to the drawing board, or quitting altogether. As this week's guest explains, “Avoid the spaghetti approach. Otherwise it's a gamble like playing the lottery with your marketing.” At the root of it, successful marketing takes more than a great offer presented in a webinar. In a buyer-hesitant market, it takes mastering messaging, constant refinement, and a fully cohesive strategy. As Emily Hirsh explains, it's important to understand how long it realistically takes to do it well. Emily is a leading digital marketing strategist, young entrepreneur, and founder of Hirsh Marketing, one of the fastest growing digital marketing agencies with over $114 million (and counting!) in client revenue generated. In this episode, we discuss the importance of defining your ideal customer, some clever strategies to help you stand out from the competition, and how to stay focused and motivated along the way. Plus, Emily shares her predictions on what we can expect to see in marketing in 2023! In this episode you will learn about: How to strategically survive and thrive during a recession The benefits of releasing unfiltered, transparent content Marketing predictions for 2023 Sneaky marketing secrets for your small business How to get clear on YOUR strategy and take action Letting go of unrealistic marketing expectations What it means to be a wild woman: Freedom to make my own schedule, rules and reality. Hey there, Brave Table squad! Welcome back for another incredible and BRAVE conversation with my guest, Andrea Klein. Andrea is a licensed esthetician, business owner, and self-proclaimed women's activist. She started her career by going to beauty school at age 34. In less than 10 years, she built a 7-figure day spa that she was able to retire from so she could work on her life's purpose, the Liberté Foundation for Women: a non-profit organization that offers the gift of freedom by giving grants to female-owned businesses. Having spent much of her life trapped in religious indoctrination, Andrea found freedom through entrepreneurship. Now, it's her mission to pay it forward. Andrea travels the world documenting women's stories of freedom and entrepreneurship. Some of the women speak about building their business and others simply answer her question, "What does freedom mean to you?" That's not a simple question of course, but digging deeper and asking "why is that your answer?" is where the magic happens. Andrea's goal is to tell these stories of liberation, elevate women in the trade, and provide a platform to the underdogs who are the backbone of their local economy. She is so inspiring, and I'm SO excited for you to hear her story! What you'll get out of this episode… - How to overcome religious indoctrination (especially when you come out of a highly patriarchal fundamentalist organization that puts women in subjection to men, heavily discourages higher education, and tells you the world is ending at any moment.) - Surviving getting shunned by your family and religious community when you leave the organization (or get kicked out) - Being brave as a stepping stone to finding freedom - How creating a small business can give you freedom, and how to use that freedom to help others - The importance of taking risks and her advice for anyone looking to take the leap themselves - Turning challenging life situations into a platform for creating the life you want Make sure you also check out… ***Exclusive to The Brave Table audience*** get $50 OFF Andrea's Onyx Skincare Device with this link: https://liberte-skincare-co.myshopify.com/discount/BEBRAVE?redirect=%2Fproducts%2Fonyx - a portion of the proceeds goes to the Liberte Foundation for Women! And while it wasn't a part of her original plan, in typical Emily fashion, she used the pregnancy as motivation to create the life she wanted. Tune in to hear her incredible and resilient story of how she used the online world to her advantage (from Virtual Assistant to the owner of a multi-7-figure agency), turned her challenges into triumphs, and how she balances being a highly ambitious woman with being present with her kids. Today's episode of the podcast is an interview with Emily Hirsh. Emily is a leading Digital Marketing Strategist and CEO & founder of Hirsh Marketing, one of the largest and fastest growing digital marketing companies in the world. Emily and her team of experts work with top-level influencers and game-changing entrepreneurs and to grow their businesses and generate massive revenue using her revolutionary Hirsh Process. We talk all about the foundations of marketing, how to have a successful launch and that we actually can't do it all so it's ok to ask for help! KEY TAKEAWAYS COVERED IN THE PODCAST Always focus on the value you deliver – if you are delivering a really great service, people will talk about it and organically grow your business. Make it a priority to give attention to the service you are delivering. True marketing comes from refinement, optimising and learning. The foundations of marketing - messaging, strategy and overall offer. The core of your marketing is messaging – your understanding of your ideal customer in a deep and emotional way. This drives all your marketing. Then you need to look at how you communicate your offer and what you sell. You can't build anything on a bad foundation! In order to have a successful launch, you need to have a warm audience BEFORE you go into launching. You need to grow your email list prior to launching who are interested and trust you. If you are just getting started – understand your ideal customer and create value adding content. The success of your launch is in what happens before and after your launch. People don't buy on their first contact with you! You have to build their trust. It takes 7-10 touchpoints before someone may choose to buy with you so you have to create them. Try and do something every single month to grow your warm audience list. Be realistic with your goals – we are all at different stages in our businesses. You have to build it up slowly – it doesn't happen overnight. Success is created from the foundations. We need to make sure our content is entertaining to our target audience. It's not enough to just have an image with some copy for an ad anymore – there needs to be something more interactive, engaging and creative. Content is driving everything – it's how we get attention on everything we do! You have to stand out with your content. Create a way for people to gain trust and connection from you and your brand. Offer a higher level of connection through dms, chat boxes, Q&As, lives. You can't have a perfect balance all the time – but you can create your definition of this. You can only do as much as your season of life allows! It won't be forever. People may not actually be “doing it all” – they probably have help! THE ONE THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER ABOVE ALL ELSE… Having a successful launch is down to what happens before and after the actual launch. You can't just decide to launch in 3 weeks' time and expect it to be an instant success. HIGHLIGHTS YOU SIMPLY CAN'T MISS Emily's journey so far and how she got to where she is now! 5 common Facebook ad mistakes -- and how to avoid them! Listen, Facebook ads don’t need to be complicated or messy. Oh no, my friend! Quite the opposite. They should be a powerful and effective tool for growing your online business and attracting your ideal community. My guest and Facebook ads expert, Emily Hirsh, is on a mission to help you become BFFs with advertising on Facebook. In this episode, she shares the 5 most common mistakes entrepreneurs make when using this growth strategy and how to avoid them. She gives you tangible action items so you can get started with her advice today. Whether you’ve been using Facebook ads for years, or you’ve been a little intimidated to dive into them, this episode is going to ease those fears and make sure you’re not leaving money on the table. Here’s a snapshot of a few things we talked about… [06:02] Mistake #1: Not defining what success means for your marketing. [10:05] Mistake #2: Not doing enough testing -- most of the time messaging is the problem. [12:43] Mistake #3: Only running one campaign. [15:45] When you boost a post the objective of your ad is engagement. Put ads in every spot of your customer journey where you would like people to take action. [19:32] Mistake #4: Not letting the testing work long enough. [23:38] Mistake #5: Not paying attention to the numbers. Test, refine, and repeat. The numbers will always tell you what to do. Today, you’re in for a treat. This episode features an extra special guest, Emily Hirsh, who’s a very big deal in the world of online marketing. She’s been working with top-level influencers and game-changing entrepreneurs through her full suite marketing management company. After developing her revolutionary “Hirsh” method, she’s made a ton of money for her clients, allowing her business has gone from strength to strength Even though Emily is now at the helm of a multi-million dollar business, four years ago she was a virtual assistant, managing email and calendars. She used to use freelance websites to get clients, before getting involved with Facebook groups. This is how she grew, building relationships on Facebook while learning everything there is to know about Facebook ads. Her passion and commitment to mastery in the Facebook ad field allowed her to become a dominant force in her niche. Emily has succeeded by focusing on one goal at a time. She also makes sure her whole team are united and focused with her. While it’s great to have long-term goals, she ensures that these goals are broken down into short-term, specific, and realistic objectives that her team can easily follow. Key Highlights of the Episode This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights: When to say no - There comes a point where you have to start saying no to new clients. In the early days, this isn’t necessarily the case. Emily spent her first year on Facebook saying yes to everything. Offering a vast array of services, she was able to hone in on her niche, learning what she liked and disliked in the process. Once you’ve found your niche, it’s important to double-down and say “no” to clients who want something different from what you’re offering. Getting your hands in the dirt - Emily may have a dedicated team working for her now, but she spent the early days doing everything herself. Two intense years of working for clients and gaining essential experience now means she has the wisdom and experience to lead her team in the right direction. You still have to do the work - While Emily recognized the need to hire a coach, she asserts that doing so isn’t like a magic button that will solve all your problems. An excellent coach will give you quality advice and help you take things to the next level. But, you still have to put in the work. What’s the priority? - Emily is incredibly focused. As the CEO of a fast-moving, high-growth company, there is so much going on. She remains discipline and focuses on the highest priority issues or projects of the moment. First-class client service is the cheapest form of marketing - While Emily carries out a lot of marketing for her services, every big-name client she has landed has been a referral. What does this mean? If you continue to go above and beyond for your clients then they will send their friends, family, and associates your way because they trust in your ability to deliver. And lots more! Tune in now. This episode is brought to you by ACUITY SCHEDULING: Support for our show today came from Acuity Scheduling. Today’s show has me just a little bit excited because I will be introducing you to an entrepreneur who’s pretty impressive. Her name is Emily Hirsh and she’s spent the last several years building her empire - first as a virtual assistant and now as CEO of a Facebook Ads agency, Hirsh Marketing. She built her company from the ground up in her 20s and has grown it into a six figure empire ... all before age 30. Impressive, right? But that isn't why I interviewed her for today's episode. I wanted her on the show so she could share her tips on removing her limiting beliefs so she could really soar... and the transformation that happened personally and professionally as a result. How many times have we believed things about ourselves that just aren't true, and as a result missed out on something great? Check out today's episode with my special guest, Emily Hirsh, to learn more.

Emily Hirsh is an industry-leading Facebook ad manager and sales funnel strategist who has built an expert team of top-level professionals to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses using proven social media sales strategies and creativity that converts. What you’ll learn about in this episode: How a simple task as a virtual career path become the inspiration for a lucrative and satisfying career path. Emily’s path from loading Facebook ads for VA clients to running her own team of 24 people who run the ads for her. The way Emily’s business grew after hiring the first person to help, and then the second, and how she developed a process for teaching others to perform the tasks required, a system she calls the “Hirsh Process.” Why Emily decided to take the time to create a course outlining and training others to do what she does intuitively and how this “conveyer belt” strategy has helped her business grow. The difference when you’re representing yourself to clients and when you’re training others to represent you to your clients and why that distinction is important when creating training materials. Emily’s ideal client and why it’s important for entrepreneurs to understand who their ideal clients are and how choosing someone who isn’t right for your business can be bad for your business and the client. Why Emily believes it’s hard, but sometimes necessary to say “no” to clients who simply aren’t ready for the services she has to offer and can’t get the full benefit of what she has to offer. Facebook and Instagram. Why these are the two platforms that deliver the best results for Emily’s style and why she loves them. Tracking progress. Why Emily’s team tracks results at all stages of the funnel to help identify strengths and weaknesses and improve results all around. The importance of having a plan before going live with a campaign and why Emily warns against proceeding as an entrepreneur without one. What they are and why Emily dislikes “Like” campaigns. The most critical skill Emily believes to develop for high-level results in your business and in your campaigns. The importance of doing one thing well and building on that instead of 20 mediocre things. Ways to contact Emily: Website: http://www.emilyhirsh.com/
