In this episode we are joined by Rachel Knott from My Animal Matters! In this episode I am joined by bodyworker and healer Laura Shakeshaft. Laura is a multi-faceted practitioner who utilises her wide range of modalities to help bring balance, harmony, rhythm, and safety to horses and humans. Based in South Wales Laura has been treating my herd of horses since their move in October 2024. I have been very impressed with Laura's expanse of knowledge and experience which is why I asked her to join us on the podcast. In this episode Laura and I discuss her less well known modality - Amnanda.Amnanda is an Ayurvedic treatment combining the use of specific oil combinations, very light hands on touch, mantra, and intention. Treatments span over a period of 12 months with monthly sessions enabling the body to settle into the framework over a consistent period of time. Amnanda stems from an ancient Tibetan lineage and is a highly effective and encouraging approach to sustainable healing.Laura and I also touch on the power of cultivating safety, horses' innate healing intelligence within the body, and what is means to get out our own way when it comes to being a practitioner. In this episode I had the pleasure of sitting down with one of my dearest friends and soul sisters Lorretta Perrella. Lorretta is a horsewoman, entrepreneur, founder of Love Fully Live Freely, intimacy coach, sex educator, and Taoist bodyworker.I LOVED having this conversation with Lorretta, together we discuss her journey with her mare Amina. How she transitioned from the more traditional horsemanship to the tantric path, and what it means to actually let go of the ways we think we need to be with / around horses, and step into something greater, more expansive, real, and ultimately more full of love. In this episode I am honoured to sit down with an incredible man who I like to call The Energetic Architect - Mark Leib. Mark has a background in traditional architecture and is trained in ancient European and Arabic architecture as well, he specialises in bringing harmony to land, property, and any space we can potentially inhabit on planet Earth. Damian Hallam, one of the top five dressage coaches in the UK, joins me in this episode to discuss some of his perspectives on having an ethical, energetic bond with horses whilst working in the competitive field of horsemanship.
