As we pick up in Hebrews11: 17-40 we continue to see how some amazing men and woman went through a life of test and trials so that they could leave for us great examples and encouragement of how we need to live a life of unshakable faith. We will be encouraged to stand on our faith instead of the things of the world.
In 1 Corinthians 14:1-25, the scriptures emphasize the importance of using spiritual gifts like tongues and prophecy with love and for the edification of the church. This message highlights the need for these gifts to glorify God and build up the church, while being mindful of how they are perceived by both believers and non-believers, ensuring that they demonstrate God's presence among us.
The beginning of Hebrews Chapter 11 describes faith as having confidence in the credibility of God. We learn that faith makes things we hope for as real as if we already had them. Verses 2-16 begin with what's known as the "Hall of Faith", as the writer reminds us about the stories of 5 Old Testament saints, (Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham and Sarah) who pleased God with their faith.

The second half of Chapter 10 encourages us be confident in God's forgiveness. It challenges us to always draw near to God with a sincere heart, and warns us not to fall away and forsake God. It ends by encouraging us to persevere in our trials, because those who remain faithful will be saved!
Paul lists many of the spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12. We'll examine them one by one, and we'll spend additional time discussing their proper use. Chapter 12 also reminds us that our spiritual gifts are equally important, without a hierarchy. Paul will use the human body as an illustration, reminding us that every part is necessary and vital for the body (the church) to function properly.
True worship reflects Jesus through humility, honor, and alignment with God's design. Join us as we decipher how to navigate culture from a kingdom perspective.
The first part of this teaching offers encouragement and challenges to fathers on this Father's Day weekend. The second part explores 1 Corinthians 10:14-33, where we learn that intimacy with both God and the world is incompatible, as the Apostle Paul urges us to glorify God by considering others in our use of freedoms and avoiding participation in demonic activities.
As we dive into Chapter 9, we learn how the new covenant is superior to the old. The writer begins by comparing the old tabernacle to the eternal one in heaven. We also see how the blood that was sacrificed by Jesus was greater than the blood sacrificed by animals. The eternal redemption of all people was settled once and for all through the blood of Christ.
In 1 Corinthians 10:1-13, we are reminded of the Israelites' mistakes during their exodus from Egypt, serving as lessons for us to avoid similar sins. God desires for us not to be defeated and lost in our own wilderness, but to live victoriously in the promised land.
The end of Chapter 7 and the 1st half of Chapter 8 reminds us that Jesus is far superior to all of Israel's previous high priests. The 2nd half of Chapter 8 continues that mindset by explaining how much better the new covenant is than the old one.
When we put the Gospel above our personal rights and preferences, our lives become a clear path for Christ's message to reach others, transforming not only us but everyone we influence.
We learn in Hebrews Chapter 7 about the weakness of the Levitical priesthood and how a new High Priest was established in the order of Melchizedek. Through the line of Judah, Jesus became the better covenant according to the power of endless life. His priesthood is unchanging and forever.
In 1 Corinthians 8, we learn how we can make decisions in the “gray areas” of life. Specifically, how to live out our faith in situations not explicitly covered by scripture. We will see the importance of prioritizing love over knowledge and exercising our personal freedoms to build others up instead of causing them to stumble.
The second half of Hebrews 5 challenges us to move past infancy and continue our spiritual growth. In Hebrews 6 we'll study strong warnings that describe what happens to people who abandon their faith and reject God.
This weekend we will see that Paul highlights the importance of serving the Lord without distraction, whether married or single, and encourages believers to live in a way that honors God in their current situation. Our study will show the value of devotion to God and the freedom to serve Him wholeheartedly in every season of life.

Joshua 23 outlines the first of two farewell addresses from Joshua before his death. He first looks back to remind the leaders of Israel of God's great faithfulness over multiple generations. Then he looks forward with a warning about the dangers of departing from God. Joshua exhorted them to continue building from the foundational truth to love the Lord above and before anything else.
In 1 Corinthians 4:5-21 Paul reminds us that God and His Word will judge all of us, so we shouldn't waste time judging each other and comparing our leaders. He will also correct the Corinthian church for being spiritually prideful and arrogant.
In Joshua 22, the Eastern tribes get falsely accused. Jumping to conclusions is never good, but neither is sending out mixed messages. Tonight, we'll learn the spiritual consequences of both of those behaviors.
This weekend we will study how the Apostle Paul turns human logic upside down by contrasting worldly wisdom and Godly wisdom, emphasizing the importance of humility and reliance on divine insight. In our passage Paul will highlight the necessity of humility and reliance on God's insight, urging believers to seek divine wisdom rather than human approval. You will also see the importance of unity in Christ following only Him and not any man.
In Chapter 21, God provides the Levites with a distribution of land and reminds them that He alone was their inheritance. In chapter 22, we see the eastern tribes return home with blessings beyond borders to share with their brothers.
In 1 Corinthians 3:1-17 Paul urges the believers to grow beyond worldly desires and live by the Spirit. In this message called “The Path of Spiritual Maturity” we will study the importance of serving humbly, building on the foundation of Jesus with godly motives, and making sure we build-up God's temple, the church.

In this message from 1 Corinthians 1:18-31, Paul contrasts the world's perceived foolishness of the cross with the true wisdom and power of God, emphasizing that human wisdom cannot comprehend God's plan of salvation. We will study that God chose what is considered weak and foolish by the world to shame the wise and strong, demonstrating that true wisdom and righteousness come from God through Christ.
In Joshua 12, 13, and 14 Israel is instructed to “finish the job” by taking possession of the entire promised land. We also get a great snapshot of Caleb's character, a man who followed God wholeheartedly.
In 1 Corinthians 1:1-17, Paul addresses the Corinthian church urging unity among believers. He highlights the importance of focusing on Christ to overcome divisions, reminding them that their spiritual gifts should be used to build up the church rather than cause discord.
As we finish chapter 10 and begin chapter 11, Joshua was faithful to lead the Nation of Israel. We see how the conflicts became increasingly more challenging from each battle to the next. Ultimately, this rich history of conquering these kingdoms teaches us how obedience pleases the Lord and ultimately brings the victory.

In Joshua 8, the people are discouraged after their defeat at Ai. But they were defeated because they didn't seek God. We'll learn that including God is critical, and getting ahead of Him always has consequences.
