Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Some people try to live in peace by telling themselves lies. This has always troubled me. "Peace at any cost is not peace." Speaking well of an evil doer only causes you to live in deception and become a liar. 2 John vv. 8-11 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Many people in midlife feel stuck and lack peace in their lives. They may be searching for happiness, fulfillment, or purpose, but they are tired and overwhelmed. This lack of peace is often caused by living a fragmented life, where different aspects of themselves are compartmentalized. Women, in particular, struggle with perfectionism and selflessness, neglecting their own needs. To find peace, it is important to embrace all aspects of oneself, including the mistakes and imperfections. By accepting and loving oneself, and living authentically, one can find a centered life and experience true peace. Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Matthew 6 (Jesus says) 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask HIM. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be THY name. (The Word of God.) 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. (both spiritual and physical food) 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (I often pray, "Deliver me from evil today." For there is much evil in the end times.)

How would your life change emotionally, physically, and mentally after the loss of a child? Debbie Gail is a strong, resilient woman who has transformed her pain into her purpose. Her journey began when she faced the challenges of her son's mental illness and addiction, eventually leading to his tragic loss. Throughout our conversation, Debbie takes us on her journey of finding peace and purpose amidst the challenges of her loved one's mental illness and addiction struggles. Debbie realized early on that her need for certainty fueled her fear and prevented her from finding inner peace. Replacing the need for certainty with a desire to contribute and help others was a powerful way for Debbie to choose peace over fear. Debbie discovered her true calling - to support and guide other parents and family members who were going through similar struggles. Waiting for circumstances to be perfect is unnecessary, and Debbie encourages parents to embrace their children as they are, starting from now. Debbie's passion for helping other parents contributed to her writing a book, Finding Peace and Purpose amidst the Tears, so no parent feels alone. The most important point in our conversation is this; living in peace and not fear is a choice. Please enjoy my conversation with Debbie Gail.
