Best Buddies is a great International Program that works to create lifelong friendships between a developmentally disabled student and a volunteer student. The program can start in any grade and continue into adulthood. It's a great program and some of out schools in our Thursday Night Lights Program are involved. It's a wonderful way to give back and a wonderful to highlight the special families and students in our area.

I had the distinct honor of meeting and talking to four of Milwaukee's finest: Trenice Ferguson, ArtWorks for Milwaukee Artist-in-Residence, Adriana Smith, Lead Artist Assistant and Zuric Walker,Art Works for You Intern. They are all leading the way in helping others get training and jobs for the future through art. What an incredible group and they gave me much hope for the future.
