Dear Little Sisters! We're very excited to introduce you to Ms. Denise Buckley. She is currently an Associate Director of Development at the American Cancer Society, with responsibilities for their Distinguished Events fundraising activities in North and Central New Jersey. She also has developed a fully digitally based campaign for service minded students called Students Conquering Cancer. Prior to her current position, she began my career in business in New York City, and continued on to New Jersey, San Francisco and then ultimately back to New Jersey. She left the traditional workforce to raise her daughters, volunteer in her community and eventually started her own business as a personal trainer. She lives in Mendham, NJ with her husband Tim, their two college-aged daughters, Julia and Grace, and their golden retriever, Lily.

Dear Little Sisters! We are very excited to introduce you to Ms. Shilpa Iyer, who we will be chatting with today. Shilpa Iyer was trained as a hydrogeologist (and musician) prior to her current career in professional food photography. She has had a long-standing passion for global travel with a strong emphasis on food. This stems from her upbringing in multi-cultural (and food-obsessed) Singapore, well known for its incredible food culture. Shilpa channels that love for food when working with clients, creating strong images to help businesses share their stories with their audiences. When Shilpa isn't traveling the world, she's immersed in her slightly overwhelming cookbook collection in an effort to bring the world to her dinner table.

Dear Little Sisters! We're thrilled to introduce you to Ms. Patrice Murray who we'll be chatting with today. She is the Director of Personnel & Administration at Oak Hill Academy. Ms. Murray is also the Head Coach For Women's Tennis at Monmouth University. Ms. Murray is an esteemed collegiate athlete playing softball, basketball, and tennis.

Dear Little Sisters! We're so excited to introduce you to Ms. Kim Sambade who we will be chatting with today. She grew up in Monmouth County. She has a psychology degree from Clemson University in South Carolina. She minored in writing and Spanish. Her first job out of college was on Wall Street. She had a corporate Human Resource career until 2018 when she was offered a job in the non-profit arena. She volunteered in the school district while her kids were young. She was a Girl Scout herself and then a leader for 5 years. She has always loved working with girls. She loves that she gets to work with students and Girl Scouts at Habitat for Humanity from time to time.

Super excited to unveil Season 2 of our podcast! This podcasting journey, over the past year, has been transformative. We've learned so much. In season 2 of our podcast, we hope to continue inspiring+ empowering girls! In season 2 of our podcast, we hope to highlight more female-identifying individuals who have started their own initiatives in order to inspire young girls to start their own. Dear Little Sisters! We are very excited to introduce you to Ms. Rohini Kosoglu who serves as Deputy Assistant to the President and Domestic Policy Advisor to the Vice President. She was a Senior Advisor to Vice  President-Elect Kamala Harris on the Biden-Harris Transition Team and previously served as Senior Advisor on the Biden-Harris Campaign. Before  that, she was a Spring 2020 resident fellow at the Institute of  Politics at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard  University. Kosoglu has a dedicated career in public service and was the first South Asian American woman to serve as Chief of Staff in the  United States Senate. She served as Vice-President Elect Harris' Chief of Staff for her Senate office and later for her presidential campaign. Before that, she was Policy Director for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet of Colorado, where she oversaw economic, health care and budget issues. She has negotiated several bipartisan bills into law and served as a senior health care advisor during the drafting and passage of the Affordable Care Act. She also previously served as a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan. Originally from New Jersey, Kosoglu is a graduate of the University of Michigan and George Washington University and is a mother to three young children.

She has starred on various shows including Chicago Med and CSI: Miami. She is also the producer of her own web series called Geeta's Guide to moving. She is the CEO and Co-Founder of OnCourse, an education company.  Before starting OnCourse, at Harvard, Alisha was the captain of the Harvard squash team. She has always believed in giving back to the community and is now the India fundraising chair and board member of Khelshala, an NGO that focuses on sport and academics. 

We're super excited to introduce you to Dr. Tamara King, who we will be chatting with today. Dr. King got her B.S. in Forensic Chemistry from the University of Mississippi, and a Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Florida. She then did a one year long postdoctoral fellowship at the Division of Applied Regulatory Sciences at the FDA, and is now a DMPK scientist at BMS. We are very excited to introduce you to Ms. Niba Audrey Nirmal, who we will be chatting with today. Niba Nirmal is a multimedia science communicator based in Ramaytush Ohlone land (San Francisco, CA). She produces and hosts videos about science for places like SciShow, Seeker, and her own channels at Notes By Niba. She completed her B.S. in Genetics and Genomics at UC Davis, where she also researched the effects of climate change on crops and earned a double-minor in Environmental Toxicology and Diversity Studies. She received her M.S. in Genetics from Duke University, where she researched the genetics, form, and function of plant roots. Dr. Shashidhara received her Ph.D. in Applied Gerontology from the University of North Texas and her Masters in Bioethics and Medical Humanities from the University of South Florida. Prior to joining PMHV, she served as a Clinical Ethicist and Coordinator for the Southern & Central Illinois Advisory Group for Ethics (SAGE) for Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois, and was Adjunct Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of North Texas.

She developed her love for storytelling through producing and hosting for various outlets like CNN and the Oprah Winfrey Network. She gets her energy and passion from connecting with people on her social media platforms– whether that be through creating engaging content around motherhood, lifestyle or approachable beauty. She attended the University of Nevada on a track and field scholarship and became a collegiate hurdle champion as well as won a championship with her track team. Ms. Burleson is now a successful podcaster creating a community for women in sports as the CEO and Host of inSIDELINES podcast.

Working for startups across different industries, Dallas's experience spans the creative and operational. Peggy Dellinger is co-founder of Monmouth County's Township of Ocean Historical Museum And its Exhibit Director and Newsletter Editor. She has produced more than 40 exhibits for the Museum on topics ranging from “Prohibition in New Jersey” to “Suffrage in New Jersey and Beyond." We are very excited to introduce you to Ms. Sarah Gross. Ms. Gross is an English teacher at High Technology High School, and the National Honor Society and Book Club advisor at HTHS. Ms. Gross also oversees the STEMinist Club at HTHS, which is a club that discusses gender issues as well as career paths for female-identifying individuals in hope of helping combat gender inequality that exists in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field. We are very excited to introduce you to Ms. Erika Sayar, who we will be chatting with today. Ms. Sayar is an incredible musician and professionally trained violin maker and restorer. In addition to being an accomplished solo pianist and cellist, Ms. Sayar owns her own full-service stringed instrument shop called “The Violin Doctor” in NJ.
