Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Selasa, 29 Juli 2025Bacaan: ..."Tidak baik, kalau manusia itu seorang diri saja. Aku akan menjadikan penolong baginya, yang sepadan dengan dia." (Kejadian 2:18)Renungan: Penolong yang sepadan adalah istilah yang sangat akrab di telinga pengikut Yesus. Namun, tidak sedikit orang yang tidak mengerti dengan benar arti penolong yang sepadan, sehingga terkadang tindakannya salah baik perempuan maupun laki-laki. Ketika belum ada penolong yang sepadan bagi laki-laki, Tuhan berfirman bahwa tidak baik kalau laki-laki sendirian. Itu artinya ketika Tuhan memberikan penolong yang sepadan bagi laki-laki, maka keadaannya akan lebih menguntungkan. Jika perempuan tidak menyadari bahwa dirinya adalah penolong yang sepadan bagi suami, maka dia akan diam di rumah karena minder atau sebaliknya malah ia bertindak berlebihan sehingga istilah suami-suami takut istri menjadi nyata dalam hidup ini. Betapa banyak perempuan menggugat cerai suaminya, demikian pula tidak sedikit laki-laki yang meninggalkan dan menceraikan istrinya. Keduanya sama-sama tidak menyadari bahwa posisi perempuan adalah penolong yang sepadan yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari laki-laki kecuali oleh kematian. Adam memakai istilah "tulang dari tulangku, daging dari dagingku". Sementara itu orang Jawa memakai istilah "garwo, sigaraning nyowo atau belahan jiwa." Jika kita tidak menerapkan prinsip tentang posisi istri sebagai penolong yang sepadan, kita akan kehilangan janji Tuhan untuk kehidupan yang lebih baik. Sudah pasti kehidupan keluarga akan berantakan. Oleh karena itu, "Hai istri, posisikan dirimu sebagai penolong yang sepadan bagi suamimu! Hai suami, akui dan terimalah istrimu sebagai penolong yang sepadan!" Tuhan Yesus memberkati.Doa:Tuhan Yesus, aku mau berdoa untuk pasanganku dan juga kedua orang tuaku, agar mereka boleh menyadari bahwa istri dan juga mamaku Engkau berikan sebagi penolong yang sepadan buat suami dan buat papaku. Jangan biarkan keegoisan menguasai ku dan mereka, sehingga masing-masing ingin saling menguasai dan menghancurkan. Peringatan 41 tahun ratifikasi Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, (CEDAW) pada 24 Juli menjadi momentum penting untuk meninjau sejauh mana komitmen negara, khususnya di Jawa Tengah, dalam menghapus kekerasan berbasis gender dan diskriminasi terhadap perempuan. Data tahun 2024 yang bersumber dari laman kekerasan.kemenpppa.go.id mencatat, di Jawa Tengah, angka kekerasan masih tinggi, yakni 1.349 kasus terhadap anak dan 1.019 kasus terhadap perempuan.
