Why do most women struggle to lose weight for so long? Sometimes all of their lives… We think that it all has to do with our diet and exercise… What we're eating and the workouts that we're doing. The real issue lies in the level of COMMITMENT. When you are truly TRULY committed to your goal, nothing will stop you from reaching it. Not your kids. Not your job. Not your crazy schedule. Not your spouse. Not the weather. NOTHING… How do you get more committed? Figure out the TRUE reason you want to reach your goal. Not the superficial reason… The DEEP-ROOTED reason. Because you're afraid your significant other will cheat on you? Because you want to feel lovable by someone significant? Because you want to live to see your kids grow up? Because you can't do anything without being in pain? Because you're tired of saying no to social situations because you feel embarrassed? What is it? The thing that makes you feel like crying… THAT'S the thing. THAT'S the “why”. When you know that… and it matters enough, commitment follows. It's simple. Not easy… because you have to get real with yourself. But it's not complicated. If you wanna hang out with us for 5 days and get help through this so you can start living your best life, click the link below to see when our next 5-Day Transformation Kickstart Challenge is.
When it comes to weight loss, many say that they want to lose weight, but few are committed to getting it done. What's the difference between being committed to losing weight and simply being interested in it? And where are you TRULY at? It starts with your language and it ends with your actions. Things you might say if you're interested but not committed: “maybe”, “I will try”, “if,” “depending on”, “only if”, etc. They're very non-committal. Gaining awareness regarding these words is key because the actions that you will take will proceed the language that you use. Commitment is a skill. It's a habit that you develop over time through repetitive action. Commitment is seen through consistent effort, sacrifice, the ability to endure pain, perseverance, courage, effort, etc. In order to make sure that you're continuing to build momentum in your journey, make it a point to continue to raise your level of commitment. This is a journey that has no end and never really gets ‘easier'... You just keep getting better. We live in a society that misleads people to failure because we are taught that fast results are realistic and will really work. It's exciting… which draws us to them. The problem with that is that fast results do not involve developing the skills needed to keep the weight off. No great result can be built without commitment and one simply cannot push further than his level of commitment. To continue building your commitment follow these steps: Acknowledge your environment and the language that's used Become aware of your language and actions and how indicative they are of your commitment Rinse and repeat To your increased commitment and success. The scale is not the end-all-be-all to our weight loss progress. There are several other ways to measure progress that don't dishearten us on a daily basis. It's important to know that it's not about the one thing you eat here or there that messes you up and unwinds all of your progress. It's the things we do on a CONSISTENT basis that determine the results that we're getting. If you eat well the majority of the time and aren't 1) lying to yourself or 2) completely binge eating… then the one little thing here or there isn't going to make you gain back a pound or 3 pounds in a matter of a day… Other great ways to track progress: Taking photos each week or month The size of your clothes or how they fit differently over time Your mood Your energy levels Your quality of sleep Other people commenting on positive changes they see in you The confidence you gain by following through with what you say you're going to do. If you need to…. Bust the scale or have someone else in your house hide it from you. To check out more ways we can help, see below: FREE Transformation Kickstart Challenge:
