I am not great at sharing personal things about my life, but I truly believe that this story should be used as a brief example of how we can overcome hardship to do whatever we want to do in life. My greatest hero become my scariest enemy in the split of a second, and I learned how LOVE is the catalyst to the most successful stories. I would be honored to have you listen and give me your feedback. I was insanely blessed to share my personal story with Sam Bakhtiar on his One Percent Podcast, and here are some of his words about the show: Only 25 years old... self made multi-millionaire, owns multiple business and continues to open more locations! This man completely blows my mind!! Today my good friend Cody Stevens joins me and shares his story on how he was able to become such a wildly successful young entrepreneur! Get ready to take notes because shit gets real. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Today we get pretty deep about Cody's past... And every time I think about his story it boggles my mind how he was able to learn from it and become so successful. I don't want to spill the details but it's honestly so intense and I can only imagine what it would have felt like to be in that situation of not knowing if you're going to live to see another day... Cody goes on to share how he was able to become who he is today and dishes his advice for entrepreneurs. The biggest thing Cody practices? Self Love. It sounds so cliche but the reality is, you can't love others if you don't love yourself. You can't help others if you can't help yourself. The only way you can truly add value to people's lives is to continuously love yourself and be the best version of you you can be so that you can properly be what others need. You have to give this episode a listen, it just may change the way you feel about yourself and life. Much Love, Dr. Sam B. P.S Nothing is worse than going through life full of regrets... Continuously looking back on things that could've been, chances you could've taken. Don't let that be you. If you fail, then you fail. And now know how to course correct. This is your time. Put your dreams into action.
1. Don't be afraid of hard work. You will have to work hard and be able to sacrifice and willing to do what most people are not willing to do, so you can create the life that you want. (7:18-9:38) 2. Success only happens when you compound things done right, over time. If you want a better body, you have to commit to work out and eat better every day. Once you do that, you will have to create systems into place so it will happen no matter what. Example: put it in your calendar, have an accountability partner. (9:38-11:38) 3. Get the most out of your time by becoming a master of productivity. You have to stay laser focused on your daily goals and stick to your routine. When you do that, you don't give your mind time to overthink stuff and you just DO IT. (11:38-13:13) 4. You must stay consistent and get into it for the long term. If all you do is seeking for short term results, you putting yourself out to failure. (13:13-21:05) 5. Ask yourself who do you want to be like and immolate that person. The more you do and commit to immolate that person that inspires you, eventually you will start to produce the same results that he/she did. (21:05-22:38) 6. You can't go through life just like that! (22:38-23:06) 7. Set a plan, break it into a daily routine and stick to the fucking routine! (23:06-28:20) 8. The only person that will beat you is you. (28:20-31:28) 9. Training is movement. (31:28-35:40) 10. In this episode of The Remote CEO, I had the pleasure to interview Sam Bakhtiar. The host of ONE PERCENTER PODCAST. Sam is a doctor, CEO, author, world-class bodybuilder, and multi-millionaire entrepreneur. Dr. Bakhtiar’s gym The Camp Transformation Center has 110 locations and he also owns two different supplement companies. He’s written great books like “The Total Body Transformation Secrets” and “Becoming a One Percenter”. But Sam’s life wasn’t always like this. He was raised in Iran during the war in the ’80s, and he moved to the US when he was a young boy.
People want success but they aren’t willing to do the work and stick with something that may take time. Do you agree?“Extra Credit Friday’s” is where we revisit conversations from former guest on the show and highlight a key area that you can apply today, fast and in just minutes. ⏰ For this extra credit Friday I revisit a conversation I had with Sam Bakhtiar (Ep.66). Sam Bakhtiar is a doctor, co-founder of The Camp Transformation Center and CEO of One Percent Nutrition. His extensive education is matched by his passion and knowledge on body transformation and fitness. The adversity he went through early in life made him very disciplined and gave him a killer work ethic.
When I think about Sam, I think about a dedicated man who loved his family and lived each day as if it were his last. He went hard on his dreams, his legacy and his family. He motivated people around the world to be 1%ers. How can you go the extra mile today in every area of your life? That is how Sam's legacy will live on in every one of us. Sam Bakhtiar is a doctor, CEO, world-class bodybuilder, multi-millionaire entrepreneur, and social media influencer. He runs four different companies, including a fitness company that some of you have probably worked out at, Camp Transformation Center. But Sam wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth to help him accomplish so many incredible things — he was born in an active combat zone, abandoned by his father and forced to flee the war when he was a child. He has an incredible story and is on an awesome mission, and I’m so excited to share it with you in this episode! You Will Hear About: [1:27] - This episode is repurposed from October 2019 with guest interview Sam Bakhtiar who passed away this week. [2:22] - Sam lived every day like it was his last and today’s episode is a reminder of his legacy. [3:01] - Cayla introduces Sam and his amazing story and background. [4:51] - Sam is a family man with three children, two daughters, and a son. [5:56] - The difference between Sam and others is that Sam didn’t give up. Being slapped in the face is part of the territory. [6:58] - Sometimes the thing that you think is the worst thing that could ever happen to you, turns out to be the best because you learn from it. [8:08] - Becoming a dad changed Sam’s life and he was determined to be the dad he did not have. [9:19] - Sam’s kids don’t want for anything, but they will still need to earn privileges and know that hard work gets them far. [11:18] - Sam became a doctor because of pressure from his family but used his interests in bodybuilding to become a chiropractor. He also opened a gym in 2000. [13:13] - The 2008 recession was a big hit for Sam and he describes how this affected him. [14:48] - Sam shares how he explained to his pregnant wife how he lost his money and his determination to make things happen. [16:27] - Due to the money issues and the emotional toll it took on their relationship, he and his wife got divorced. [18:19] - Sam was determined that he wouldn’t make the wrong choice and while in a hotel room, he made the choice that he was either going to be working or seeing his kids. [19:14] - Once you are crystal clear on what your priorities are, decisions are much easier to make. [21:41] - Sam describes the various zones you could be in: the top, which is where you want to be; rock bottom where you are struggling; and the space in the middle where you are “cruising.” [22:56] - Learn that comfort is the enemy of progress. If you are comfortable with how you are living, you won’t grow. [24:56] - The only person who can beat you is yourself. Sam describes how he challenged himself to beat his personal best and got things out of the way of progress. [27:47] - At the time of his divorce, Sam’s gym had 6 locations. [28:25] - Sam shares how his business grew exponentially from 2014 onward. [29:28] - From a man’s perspective, Sam describes divorce and how respect and trust are the two key ingredients to avoiding it. Many months ago, we had the privilege of having Sam Bakhtiar on the podcast to record an episode. We knew how successful Sam was, but we knew little of how humble, caring, kind, and passionate he would turn out to be from the instant we sat down with him. Sam has an incredible story of immigrating to the United States from Iran when he was young, and has made a name and a career for himself in the fitness industry. He gave us valuable insights into entrepreneurship and what it takes to be successful, but most importantly, he was grateful for us inviting him on to talk and share his wisdom. We are deeply saddened to learn that Sam passed away unexpectedly on December 23rd, 2020. Our interview with Sam was archived in our files and never released, as the podcast has taken a bit of a back seat for us as we focus on other ventures. Once we heard the news, we knew we had to release this episode right away in memory of Sam. In the age of social media, it can be hard at times to come across someone as successful as Sam that's still a genuine, caring, compassionate person. Sam was all of those things and more, and we are grateful to have crossed paths with him and learn alongside his mentorship. RIP Sam Bakhtiar

Sometimes life takes us through times of controversy, where we often question and criticize ourselves, we fall to despair and lose faith. God will never give you something you can't handle. It is right there, in those moments of controversy where the greatest leap of faith is, to move forward despite the fear. Fear is the main reason why people fail. The day we learn that failure is part of learning and embrace mistakes, that day we will be successful. Sam Bakhtiar is an example of that. A loving family man and father who has based his life on perseverance, strength, and self-confidence to achieve his goals in life. Today he is CEO, author, world-class bodybuilder, and multi-millionaire entrepreneur; owner of two supplement and nutrition companies, founder of the Camp transformation center with 110 locations. Apart from holding a Bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University in sports science and life science and a doctorate from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in the US. Despite all the titles, it was at the end of his first marriage, and at the beginning of bankruptcy that Sam reunited with himself and decided to embark on a path full of stones and difficulties that he overcame until he became what we see in our episode today. If you want to know more about how to get ahead in times of controversy and how to start being part of the 1% of the world, I recommend you stay until the end of the podcast to receive unique information. The obstacles are not in the way, they are the way. - Sam Bakhtiar. What will you learn in this episode: How to strengthen your mind to overcome obstacles in your life. Sam Bakhtiar is a beast of a human! He overcame tremendous adversity as an Iranian refugee to become a champion body builder and hugely successful fitness entrepreneur. He shares his inspiring story, which you're going to love, in this podcast! Ian Smith is a co-owner of the Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, New Jersey. Frustrated by the lack of a plan for gym owners to re-open during a seemingly never ending shutdown, he made headlines for opening his facility despite an executive state order mandating otherwise. His firm stand to defend constitutional rights and the rights of all small business owners throughout the country has gotten him arrested and cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines. He shares his story in this tell-all podcast, which you're going to love! LISTEN TO THE PODCAST ON iTUNES TOO!: itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/e...
