The show opens with a sharp rundown of the White House scrambling to contain the fallout from President Trump’s Truth Social post calling for Democratic lawmakers to face sedition charges “punishable by death.” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tried to soften the message, but critics and the RSMS crew weren’t buying it—especially after Trump snapped at Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey, calling her “piggy,” continuing his long history of demeaning women. In entertainment chatter, Gary with Da Tea dove into Bravo chair Frances Berwick hinting that both Kenya Moore and a long-awaited Nene Leakes return to RHOA are “not off the table,” which had the cast cutting up. A standout moment came when certified sex and intimacy coach Tana C. Gilmore joined the crew to talk holiday dating — from matching pajamas to avoiding messy Thanksgiving questions — while Ricky hilariously went off about women ignoring friendly gestures at gas stations and stoplights. The episode closed on a heartfelt note as Chadwick Boseman was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, celebrated by his widow Simone, Ryan Coogler, and Viola Davis. Simone’s tribute, reflecting on his kindness, brilliance, and dedication even while privately battling cancer, left both the studio and listeners moved. Want a calmer class, a smoother start, and a better workout every time you walk in? We break down the new Double Edge app workflow so sign ups and check ins take seconds, not minutes—and explain why that tiny habit helps coaches plan equipment, manage flow at the 25-athlete cap, and reduce the last‑minute scramble that derails great sessions. No fluff, just practical steps that keep classes fair and focused. We also tackle the hot topic of late cancel and no-show fees with a clear rule: charges only apply when a class hits capacity and your absence blocks someone else from training. If the roster isn't full, we don't want to nickel-and-dime anyone. We're running zero-dollar tests to validate the process and to remind everyone that check ins also count for committed club credit. The goal is more coaching, less clerical work, and a better experience for every athlete on the floor.Next, we clean up SugarWOD for what it does best—track progress. Expect a fresh gym code and an active-use standard so the tool stays valuable. Keep your profile private if you like and still use percentage work, benchmark history, and lift logs to load smarter and see measurable gains. Then we look ahead to HYROX Las Vegas with early access for members, guidance on divisions and travel logistics, and a focused prep plan: build conversational running volume and get real reps on sled pushes and drags while maintaining CrossFit as your fitness base.It all ladders up to one theme: consistency beats chaos. Train three to five days weekly, adjust intensity to protect recovery, and use structure—apps, rosters, smart programming—to make showing up the easy choice. If this helped, subscribe, share it with a training partner, and leave a quick review so more athletes can find it.Follow us on Instagram here! https://www.instagram.com/doubleedgefitness/

Detroit Lions vs Washington Commanders Post Game Show: Game 10 Breakdown Lions Look to Clean Up and Build Momentum As the regular season moves into its second half, the Detroit Lions face the Washington Commanders in Week 10 of the NFL season, and our post game show will dig into how Detroit responded during this pivotal match-up. The Lions entered this contest with momentum on the line and a clear opportunity to assert their status in the conference. Meanwhile, Washington has been hit hard by injuries and inconsistency, creating a backdrop of urgency for both teams. On the show we'll evaluate how Detroit handled the trenches, how well the offense executed under pressure, and whether the defense rose to the occasion. With head coach Dan Campbell reportedly calling some offensive plays in place of coordinator John Morton, we'll also explore what that signals about Detroit's identity and whether that shift made a difference on the field. How did Detroit's running game perform? Were the receivers effective against a Washington secondary missing key players? Did the offensive line protect Jared Goff and open lanes for Jahmyr Gibbs, or did protection issues resurface? Defensively, we'll examine whether the Lions created enough disruption and whether the pass rush and coverage were sharp enough to contain Washington's offense. What We'll Cover on the Post Game Show Tonight's Detroit Lions post game show will feature breakdowns of key storylines from the Detroit Lions vs Washington Commanders match-up: Offensive structure and Campbell's involvement: With Dan Campbell stepping in to call plays, how did that affect tempo, play-selection, and execution? Did the Lions look more aggressive or did they rely on safe methods? Defensive performance and adjustments: The Commanders have been vulnerable in certain areas; did the Lions exploit those weaknesses? How well did Detroit adapt when Washington changed formations or tempo? Situational football: We'll analyze fourth-down decisions, red zone execution, penalties and turnovers—all moments that tend to decide tight NFL games. Fan interaction and Detroit Lions reaction: As always, we'll open the lines for live listener calls. We want to hear how you saw the game—were you thrilled with the performance or sensing warning signs? Was Campbell's play-calling bold or too cautious? Your voice completes the story. This match-up is more than just Game 10—it's part of the trajectory of Detroit's season. A strong showing could reaffirm their contender status; a shaky performance raises questions heading into tougher upcoming opponents. On tonight's show we'll not only discuss what happened on the field but also what this means for the Lions moving forward. Join us on the Detroit Lions vs Washington Commanders Post Game Show as we unpack plays, decisions, and player performances while giving you the floor to share your Detroit Lions reaction live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfKAegIcd7M Get yourself a Classic Detroit t-shirt here! Welcome back to Fueled Gymnast Fall, a podcast series on what you need to know about fueling your gymnast as we move into this next competitive season. Today I'm answering a question constantly asked around this time of the year, "Should a gymnast “Clean Up” their diet before comp season starts?"As competition season approaches, many parents and gymnasts start thinking about “cleaning up” their diet; cutting out sugar, eating more salads, or trying to be “extra healthy.” Maybe the gym or coach is making "fueling suggestions" about getting ready for season. But is that actually what your gymnast needs to perform their best? In this episode, we dig into what “cleaning up” a gymnast's diet really means—and why it can sometimes do more harm than good. You'll learn how well-meaning nutrition changes can unintentionally lead to underfueling, low energy, and even slower recovery right when your gymnast needs to be at her strongest. If you've ever wondered whether your gymnast should “tighten up” their eating before meets begin, this episode will give you the truth—and a better plan for fueling confidence, strength, and success this season. In this episode you'll hear about: Why “eating cleaner” doesn't always equal better performance The top 3 tips when it comes to pre-season fueling advice Links & Resources Episode 176 – Fueled Gymnast Fall: Are so many gymnasts really underfueled?Episode 10: Do Gymnasts Need to “Eat Clean” to be Successful? The Balanced Gymnast® Program for level 5-10 female gymnasts Connect with Christina on Instagram @the.gymnast.nutritionist or christinaandersonrdn.com
SHOW NOTES: Coast to coast and floorboards to shingles, this is The Money Pit! As we enter this wonderful, thankful time of year, we are focused on making sure your home is prepped to look nice and stay safe before the holiday guests and cooking sprees begin. Listen in for this week's home improvement topics and calls, including: - Refreshing Your Home's Exterior: Fall provides crisp, dry weather that is perfect for refreshing your exterior paint. We'll give you some tips on how to boost curb appeal and better protect your home. - Preventing Holiday Plumbing Disasters: Before guests arrive, take steps to avoid kitchen clogs and toilet backups, such as avoiding putting grease, potato peels, or bones down the garbage disposal. - Essential Fire Safety for the Season: Holiday lights and decorations can increase fire risks, so use surge protectors and avoid daisy-chaining extension cords, which can overload wires. Also, always remember that unattended cooking is the leading cause of home fires. - Quick Clean-Up Preparation: Since spills are inevitable during big meals, prep a quick grab-and-go stain-fighting kit with essentials like paper towels, a carpet-safe stain remover, white vinegar, and a scrub brush. Q & A: - Cameron has a 100-year-old home with counterweighted windows, and he needs to restring the weights. To fix this, he needs to carefully remove the interior trim/casing to gain access to the cavity behind the sash, making sure to use a utility knife to cut the paint seam first to avoid damage while repairing the window. - Nicole is dealing with loud banging pipes in the basement every time water is run. The noise is either "water hammer" from loose pipes shaking against the wood framing, or the well pump turning on and off too frequently. - Linda wants to build a single concrete structure that can serve as a patio in the summer and a covered carport for her collectible car in the winter. To get a solid, permanent base, we recommend consulting with a professional. - Bill installed a new LED light fixture and noticed there is a 1.5 to 2-second delay before the light actually comes on when flipped. This behavior is actually normal due to the complex internal circuitry required to bring the light up and maintain the correct level. - Gail emailed to say she recently moved and asked how to stop the stains left by falling acorns on her concrete driveway. The recommended solution is to stay on top of maintenance by scrubbing the stains with a strong solution of oxygenated bleach. ASK A QUESTION: Need help with your own home improvement or décor question? We'd love to help! In recent days, President Trump issued two furious tirades demanding that Republicans end the Senate filibuster to reopen the government. He ranted at great length in demanding this “NOW” and exploded in all-caps while urging the “NUCLEAR OPTION.” As many noted, this undercut Republicans, revealing that they could simply end the shutdown themselves, ultimately showing that they control the government. Then Trump ranted about his horror that health care premiums are set to spike for millions. This, too, undercuts the GOP, because guess who won't extend Affordable Care Act subsidies to prevent that? Republicans! Trump's fury forced Mike Johnson into an awkward routine declaring that the president is “angry” because...the government hasn't reopened. But this just showed how disconnected Trump is from all this, highlighting the Trump-GOP refusal to do the hard work of negotiating a settlement. We talked to Fair Share America organizer Maura Quint. She discusses Trump's deep laziness, how this is perceived by low-info voters, and whether this will allow Democrats to penetrate Trump-dominated info spaces. Looking for More from the DSR Network? Government shutdown day 34, and the spin is flying. Today Todd breaks down why Democrats—not Republicans—are keeping Washington closed and explains the simple filibuster fix that could end the standoff. We also dig into SNAP reform after USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins told Fox News that widespread abuse is being uncovered—plus what those numbers really mean for taxpayers and the truly needy. Then we pivot to border security: known or suspected terrorists stopped this year, ICE enforcement, and Trump's claim that raids “haven't gone far enough.” Finally, Todd reacts to the media outrage over JD Vance's comments about faith and his wife—and why wanting the best for your spouse isn't controversial. Includes a weekend Fox News soundbite with Brooke Rollins and the host. Conservative, not bitter… always.

Recently Liz and Sarah discussed how the rubber was meeting the road on their Netflix pilot. They were sure they were done with the notes process and were now awaiting some kind of yay or nay on the project. But they were wrong! They’re getting more notes, a reminder that predicting the future in Hollywood is impossible. In Take A Hike, Sarah talks about how making a meal from her garden made her realize it’s important to celebrate steps along the way. Next they answer a Mailroom Question from a listener who does NOT enjoy being inundated by Substack newsletters. This week’s Hollywood Hack will improve your pictures — use the Clean Up feature in Apple photos. Finally, Sarah recommends An Everlasting Meal: Cooking with Economy and Grace by Tamar Adler. God is in the cleaning business, graciously cleaning up our messy lives to make us suitable to His work. When we repent of our sins and allow Him to wash us clean, He uses us to reach out to others and lovingly help them get cleaned.

Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four Tuesday/Thursday takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Trump is Feelin' It President Donald Trump’s high-stakes diplomacy, including his call with Vladimir Putin and efforts to broker peace between Russia and Ukraine. They analyze Trump’s strategy to pressure Russia by potentially supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons capable of striking inside Russian territory, and the economic leverage involving oil and gas markets. The conversation expands to Trump’s simultaneous trade showdown with China, highlighting looming 100% tariffs on Chinese goods and the global battle over rare earth minerals critical to modern technology. The hosts explore whether Trump can realistically achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine, the risks of escalation—including nuclear threats—and the role of frozen Russian assets in Europe as a potential game-changer. They also touch on U.S. defense production challenges, noting America’s limited capacity to ramp up weapons manufacturing compared to Russia’s reserves, and how winter conditions in Ukraine could stall battlefield advances and open a window for negotiations. Clean Up on Isle Amanpour A sharp critique of CNN’s Christiane Amanpour after her controversial claim that Israeli hostages were “treated better than the average Gazan.” Clay and Buck play the original clip and her subsequent apology, arguing that her first statement reveals the media’s bias toward Hamas narratives. They dismantle myths of “genocide” and “starvation” in Gaza, underscore Hamas’s use of civilians as human shields, and stress the moral clarity of Israel’s position in the conflict. The conversation pivots to major breaking news: President Donald Trump’s tweet summarizing his lengthy call with Vladimir Putin. Trump described the exchange as “very productive,” noting Putin congratulated him on Middle East peace efforts and agreed to high-level talks aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine war. Clay and Buck analyze the geopolitical stakes, including Trump’s upcoming Oval Office meeting with President Zelensky, Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s role in negotiations, and Hungary as a potential summit location. Mamdani is Wrong About Everything New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and his Fox News interview with Martha MacCallum. Clay and Buck critique Mamdani’s evasive answers on whether Hamas should disarm, comparing his rhetorical style to Abigail Spanberger’s non-answers. They warn that Mamdani’s progressive proposals—such as rent freezes and city-run grocery stores—reflect economic illiteracy that worsens housing affordability and cost-of-living crises. The hosts draw parallels to California’s regulatory failures and Canada’s housing costs, arguing government overreach drives prices higher. Democrats Have Become a Slur President Donald Trump’s multi-hour call with Vladimir Putin, which Trump says will lead to high-level advisor meetings and a future summit in Budapest aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine war. Clay and Buck examine Trump’s diplomatic momentum following the Gaza peace deal and discuss whether his approach could reshape global negotiations. The conversation shifts to domestic politics, spotlighting New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and his Fox News interview with Martha MacCallum. Mamdani refused to credit Trump for the Gaza peace agreement, calling it “too early,” and offered vague answers on Hamas disarmament. Clay and Buck critique Mamdani’s progressive agenda—tax hikes, rent freezes, and city-run grocery stores—arguing these policies would harm New York’s economy and worsen affordability. They also highlight Mamdani’s recent apology to police for past “defund” rhetoric, framing it as political damage control.
