What started as weekly 15 minute coaching calls morphed into hour long passionate discussions about topics within the health and wellness space and beyond! We realized that we wanted more people to be a part of the conversation, so we created this podcast. Join us every week as we break down topics ranging from body image, mindfulness practices that actually make a difference, dispelling myths and shining a light on what it actually takes to live a happy and healthy life, and SO MUCH MORE! We are so grateful to have you join us on this journey! Meet your hosts! I’m Lizzie! I am a lover of getting shit done, moving my body, and giving women actionable resources for finding balance. I am the creator of Donuts and Downdog, where I blog and share content to empower women to do the same. I have become an expert in all things yoga, meditation, mindfullness, and owning my own business and how to balance it all as a high achieving and wonderful woman! I’m Stacia! I’m the founder of Strength By Stacia, a health and wellness company dedicated to empowering women to love, connect, and accept themselves through revealing their inner and outer strength. And while I have many years of education and certifications, my biggest teacher has been going through this all on my own personal journey and then working with countless women to empower them to do the same.

    Hey, Stay Calm During a Pandemic

    These are strange times and we are all trying to learn how to navigate something we have yet to experience in our lifetime. We are here to remind you that there isn't a one size fits all approach to handling this, however we do hope we can offer some tools to help you as we travel through this uncharted territory in our lives. Some things that have helped us so far: Create some type of routine. Not saying you need to have a tight schedule and stick to it, just find a few staple things that keep you feeling grounded. Reach out for support! Find ways to stay connected while we embrace social distancing. Release all expectation. Whether it be an expectation for everything you should be accomplishing during this time or an expectation of how you should be feeling. Let it go. Get some movement in. Have a dance party, do some yoga, whatever it is that you feel you could use to help get some endorphins pumping. And most of all, be kind. To yourself, to your partner, to your kids, to your neighbor. Lizzie talks about what it was like finding a love for rowing in college and becoming a college athlete and performing at a high level and how her journey has evolved from dedicated athlete to zen yoga practitioner and badass instructor. Journeying through many hours of yoga teacher training and working with clients and her own personal wellness exploration, Lizzie has become an expert in all things yoga, meditation, mindfullness, owning her own business and how to balance it all as a high achieving and wonderful woman! Stacia goes all in and discusses her journey through finding a love for fitness through bodybuilding and uncovering her own worth outside of her body. After getting several well known certifications in personal training and nutrition coaching, she went on to start training clients at a high end fitness facility in Las Vegas. Her love for coaching led her to take her clients online. Through this hands on experience and then creating her own online health and happiness brand, Stacia has become an expert on all things kettlebell, dance, body kindness, holistic health, and loving yourself healthy!
