Welcome back to the Into the Nerdiverse podcast! In this week's (short) episode the boys explain how Nobody Saves The World manages to make a slug with laser eyes a compelling character, the OG game that the boys are excited for, and the game that broke Rob's faith in humanity - so he broke the disc!

Here we go again...After a lengthy hiatus, the ITN boys are back with the first episode of the new season with some straight up fire recommendations and a roundup of what they've been up to in 2022 so far. Find out why there's been almost 6 months since the boys last recorded and what you should be listening to, reading, watching and playing. 

This week Rob talks about a national hero telling Edwardian stories, a web comic containing various cursed swords and a post hardcore band with a lovely name. Scott on the other hand reviews an indie Dodgeball game, Venom: let there be carnage and an already cancelled netflix show that wasn't cancelled at the time of recording. 

Were back after a few weeks (Scott took ages editing so basically its a time travel episode).We talk about Biffy Clyro, Metroid Dread, Sketch shows, genre manipulating comics and books and James Bond. So many good vibes and recommendations this episode.

This week the Nerdiverse boys welcome their first guest - a real upstanding member of society no less! As always, they'll give their recommendations on the best books, films, music, games, tv shows and comics around at the moment, but with their unique tangential twist.  

Its our Birthday!! One whole year old, to celebrate we talk about what we have been up to in the past few weeks (sorry for the short break in episodes). Discussions include 3 amazing albums dropping on the same day, our recent gaming experiences, stuff we have been watching and loads of other stuff. We also talk about our bonding over the Mass Effect series and what we look forward to in the upcoming remaster games.  Like, Rate and Review if you want. 

This week the boys take on the real questions when it comes to ghosthunting and their experiences with the Covid-19 vaccine. The two topics are unrelated. They also dip their toes into the worlds of Manga/Anime with Attack On Titan, the issues of 21st-century masculinity with Robert Webb's How Not To Be A Boy, and take a look back at seminal metalcore album As Daylight Dies by Killswitch Engage. To keep things light, they also talk about their love of Super Mario 3D World and Bowser's Fury, and discuss why Solo: A Star Wars Story feels like an underrated gem!

This week the boys are back with some fantastic reviews and their usual brand of nonsensical chit chat. Scott uncovers a deep dark secret about Rob and they both discuss their best ever £8.00 purchases.This weeks topics include A.P Bio, Fallout New Vegas, Birds of Prey, Neverwhere, a solution to missing Live Music and All Star Superman. Its another corker of an episode so listen to it yeah?? 

In this week's episode, Scott talks through his love of the 2018 Ready Player One, his recent discovery The Adventures of Tom Stranger, and the 2020 game Will of the Wisps, lambasting poor voice actors as he goes. Meanwhile, Rob explains why DC's Kingdom Come is essential reading, why In Flames' 2019 "I, The Mask" isn't all essential listening, and reminds us of the semi-forgotten gem that is Alan Davies' As Yet Untitled - all this whilst Scott tries to distract him with pond creatures...

This week we talk about pop punk music, red dead redemption, disenchanted and a few other not so shiny gems. Also Scott goes so off track that Rob gets annoyed . All in all its a belting episode and loads of good things are recommended. 

First episode of 2021 and Scott is trying to bribe Australian officials and does a bit of casual shameless self promotion. Rob has all the research and knowledge  and gives amazing insight into what 2021 has to offer. This is an insight into what fruit 2021 has  to offer and the boys get stuck in like it's a juicy peach.

Scott had covid and had a lot of time on his hands, this week we found out how he spent that time. We also tip for presidency Kanye 2024 and Scott unveils plans for his new musical and gives @coleymania some abuse. Like, rate and review. 

Scott loves the boys so much that he gushes everywhere. We talk about online gaming and how the MCU guy is a fortnight loser. We give massive praise to Bob Mortimer, because he is actually the best.Rob talks about fishing even though he has no interest in it. He reviews Ramstien (and is fuming Scott has seen them live and he hasn't) and he goes double book club and reviews an excellent war hammer book as well as the fishing stuff.Scott gets into all things Mitchell and Webb/Peep Show on the fly, talks Goodburger (top 3 film of all time) and how great Keenan and Kel are, then finally he delves into retro SNES gaming. Winnie the podcast dog interrupts throughout as she does every episode. Like rate and review. 

This week we talk about the new consoles and how we feel about Xbox vs PlayStation. We also talk randomly about loads of animals for no reason and how we'd handle prison. Robs gives reviews about amazing YouTube channels, Toy story 4 and a pirate themed board game.Scott talks the Alan Partridge podcast, the Preacher comic and the Australian singer/song writer Amy Shark. Disclaimer: Dolphins are evil!!
