Nuttha Goutier grew up in a village in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand, with no running water and no electricity. She learned massage at her grandmother's side, arrived in Canada in 2001 with a new language and little else, and in 2005 opened the first Sabai Thai Spa. Today she leads seven locations across Greater Vancouver and is opening the brand to franchise partners across Canada. In this conversation with host and producer Dr. Tom Dutta, she tells the human story behind the calm: the doubt, the reinvention, and the belief that self-care belongs in everyday life, not saved for a rare luxury. LORD, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power. [NKJV]
We have in this country a lot of people paid for by us that basically do a lot of talking and gesturing and do it with no real power or influence. A lot of them are commissions. One of them is the Human Rights Commission. I'm sure these are well-meaning groups of people who espouse on their particular area of expertise. I guess in a grand scheme type of way they are there to inform and guide us through whatever area it is they specialise in. The human rights folk have written about the Government's desire to change or remove references to the Treaty in 19 pieces of legislation. They are doing this for the simple reason that referring to the Treaty and its obligations in literally everything it does is not helpful, or efficient, or even relevant. In this day and age if you mention the Treaty there will always be a hardcore collective of those who oppose it. They oppose it because they oppose everything. The Human Rights Commission has written, saying exactly what you think it would say. "This is bad", "this must not be done, partly because it fails to respect indigenous people's human rights" etc etc. That of course isn't true. Your human rights are universal, or should be, and the moment someone has more, or better, or bigger, or brighter human rights based on race you have trouble, which is partly why the legislation is being amended. 1) The Human Rights Commission would say that, wouldn't they, 2) It will make no difference, 3) It never makes any difference because these sort of groups have no power. It's good they have no power because if they did we'd all be shot. It's kind of like coroners who come up with weird recommendations, that if they ever had any legal standing would grind us to a halt. But given the human rights people say exactly what you think they would say, and given it has no power, and given they will be ignored by the Government (as they should be), can anyone offer me a cohesive and sensible reason as to why we have them and why we keep paying for it? If we're looking to save money and cut waste - Exhibit A. LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Welcome to episode 126. In this episode, I explore what radical self-care really looks like, and why it's the foundation of your personal power. We talk about including ourselves in the same compassion we so freely give to others, learning to reward ourselves with kindness instead of criticism, and why years of self-neglect can't be undone overnight. Because when we truly care for ourselves, we build the capacity, resilience, and joy to show up fully in the world. Let's dive in! In this episode: • Self-care is self-compassion — true self-care isn't about spending money or being "good"; it's about including yourself in the same kindness and care you give everyone else. • Reward yourself for trying — celebrating your effort, not just your achievements, builds confidence, resilience, and the self-belief needed to keep showing up. • There is no power without self-care — protecting your energy, finding supportive people, and choosing self-love over self-neglect is the foundation of a joyful, powerful life. Season 31, Episode 26 – With No Power, Comes No ResponsibilityHosted by: DONMEGADONMEGA is back with another packed episode of Am I On The Air?, covering all the latest entertainment news from May 27 through June 2. This episode continues another incredible year on the PopCulturePros Network, proving once again that while Hollywood constantly searches for the next big thing, DONMEGA has been consistently breaking it all down long before streaming services started multiplying like gremlins after midnight. On the movie side, horror takes center stage with Backrooms, the long-awaited adaptation of the viral internet phenomenon that convinced millions of people that beige office walls could somehow be terrifying. DONMEGA dives into the atmosphere, tension, and mystery behind the film, exploring whether it successfully captures the unsettling feeling that made the original concept such a cultural sensation or whether some nightmares are simply better left lurking online.Comedy also joins the lineup with Balls Up, the latest streaming release looking to provide a few laughs in between all the monsters, mysteries, and murderers dominating everyone else's watchlists. DONMEGA breaks down the performances, humor, and whether this is a comedy worth seeking out or just another title fighting for survival in the endless scroll. On the television side, comic book fans finally get their first look at Spider-Noir, one of the most anticipated superhero adaptations of the year. DONMEGA shares his first impressions on the stylish noir-inspired take on the iconic wall-crawler, exploring whether this darker, detective-driven version of Spider-Man has what it takes to stand apart from the ever-growing multiverse crowd.Meanwhile, Netflix brings back The Four Seasons for Season 2. DONMEGA checks in on the returning series, discussing how it continues to evolve, whether it builds on the strengths of its debut season, and if it can avoid the dreaded sophomore slump that has claimed many promising shows before it.Horror, comedy, superheroes, streaming hits, and plenty of entertainment headlines in between, With No Power, Comes No Responsibility delivers another week of sharp observations, veteran insight, and just enough sarcasm to remind everyone that not every great idea starts with a boardroom presentation—and sometimes the scariest thing in entertainment is still opening Netflix and trying to decide what to watch.

Iran's regime is facing an existential crisis prompted by the US-Israeli war. Despite taking a military battering and the economy being in ruins, Tehran refuses to surrender to Donald Trump. Historian Arash Azizi takes Roland Oliphant and Sophia Yan inside the clash between the regime establishment and the ultra-hardliners who fear their vision of the Islamic Republic will not survive peace. He explains why the country's powerful, IRGC-linked chief negotiator Mohammad Ghalibaf is increasingly being attacked in Iranian media and the dilemma facing the Islamic Republic as it looks to make a deal without surrendering the anti-American dogmatism that revolutionaries hold so dear. Plus, senior foreign correspondent Adrian Blomfeld reports from the Strait of Hormuz and Sophia and Roland discuss the significance of the UAE pulling out of OPEC. A new MP3 sermon from Christian Answers of Austin is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Acts 2:38 & Water Baptism Save You? James White Shows How Water Baptism Has No Power Speaker: Dr. James White Broadcaster: Christian Answers of Austin Event: Teaching Date: 4/21/2026 Bible: Acts 2:38; John 3:3-8 Length: 12 min.
James White's starts out his argument against baptismal regeneration by bringing up Romans 3:11, "There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God;" or Ephesians 2:1, "And you were dead in your transgressions and sins," meaning the spiritually dead cannot make themselves spiritually alive by the physical act of the flesh by water baptism. Time marker 03:54 - Romans 8:5-9, "5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is at enmity toward God, for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God. 9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him." Therefore a person who has never been supernaturally "born again" by the power of the Holy Spirit (John 3:3-8, 1 Corinthians 6:11,19, Titus 3:5-8, Romans 8:16) cannot "please God" even if they are trying to get water baptized because they are still in the flesh & not the Spirit. Thus their water baptism is completely worthless in this case & means nothing. God must do the work of spiritual regeneration first in a person before they can do anything authentic in the service of the True God of the Bible. The Spirit regenerates. How often have the clear words of Jesus been misunderstood! People universally re-write 'You must be born again.'

Evangelicals are everywhere—but why do they seem to have so little cultural influence? In this episode, Mike D’Virgilio (The Based Boomer) critiques a discussion between Jon Harris and Aaron Renn on the lack of evangelical leadership in positions of cultural power. Is a better understanding of “creation” enough to fix the problem? Mike argues it’s not. What’s missing is something deeper—a robust, biblical vision of victory that shapes how Christians think about culture, leadership, and the future. If we want real cultural transformation, we need more than diagnosis. We need a framework that actually produces it. International Women's Day 2026 Celebration Saturday Mornings Show host Glenn van Zutphen and co-host Neil Humphreys welcome Joleen Loh, Curator, National Gallery Singapore to talk about their latest exhibit "Fear No Power: Women Imagining Otherwise". The exhibition brings together over 45 major artworks and more than 110 rarely seen archival materials from five groundbreaking Southeast Asian women artists: Amanda Heng (Singapore), Dolorosa Sinaga (Indonesia), Imelda Cajipe Endaya (Philippines), Nirmala Dutt (Malaysia), and Phaptawan Suwannakudt (Thailand). Many of these works are being shown in Singapore for the first time. "Fear No Power" is the Gallery’s first comparative exhibition of women artists from across the region, a rare opportunity to see how each artist used art as a form of resistance, social engagement, and collective care. Through performance, sculpture, painting, and mixed media, these women challenged gender norms, confronted political realities, and reimagined the worlds they lived in. Joleen shares how the exhibition invites visitors to slow down, look closely, and uncover the layered meanings behind each work, from personal histories to national narratives. It’s a powerful reminder of how art can question, provoke, and ultimately reshape the way we see ourselves and our societies.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
