Violence does not become ethical because the culture lacks language for it. It becomes invisible. And invisibility does not neutralize harm—it relocates it into the nervous system of the person absorbing the blows. Female-initiated physical violence against men persists not because it is rare, but because it disrupts the moral grammar we have been trained to speak. When harm violates expectation rather than boundary, perception collapses. The body registers threat, but the mind receives no confirmation.
Repeated or aggressive antibiotic use disrupts gut microbes that regulate brain chemicals, which raises your risk of anxiety, low mood, poor sleep, and emotional instability Research shows that antibiotics lower acetylcholine, a key neurotransmitter that supports calm focus, memory, and stress tolerance, explaining why many people feel anxious, foggy, or irritable after a course Even a single round of antibiotics is linked to higher rates of anxiety and depression, and the risk rises further with repeated exposure, especially with drugs like penicillin, quinolones, and clindamycin Antibiotic-driven gut damage weakens the gut barrier, reduces short-chain fatty acids, and overstimulates the stress-response system, creating a full-body shift that pushes the brain toward anxiety and depressive patterns Early-life antibiotic exposure leaves long-term marks on mood, behavior, and stress resilience, meaning gut disruption during childhood or adolescence can shape mental health well into adulthood

Is this you... You're fit. You train consistently. You eat "healthy." You're disciplined and driven. So why does your body feel stuck? In this deep-dive rabbit hole episode, Coach Debbie Potts unpacks the missing pieces high performers overlook when results stall in midlife—despite doing all the "right" things. If pushing harder, training more, or cleaning up your diet isn't working anymore, this episode will explain why. You'll learn why: • You can poop every day and still be constipated • Detox often backfires in driven bodies • The nervous system—not willpower—is the master regulator • Mitochondrial energy determines whether you adapt or resist • Aggressive protocols fail when FLOW isn't restored first Debbie shares what she's learning from trusted mentors, cutting-edge research, and real-world pattern recognition to explain why sequence matters more than effort in midlife health and performance. This episode introduces the FLOW Foundation Blueprint™ and the core reframe high performers need to hear: You don't need more discipline. You don't need to try harder. You need safety before stress, structure before clearance, and energy before effort. If you're tired of guessing, stuck in trial-and-error cycles, or frustrated that your body no longer responds the way it used to—this episode is for you.

What if recovery didn't have to mean pushing harder—or going under the needle? In this episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, host Sayan explores how healing can become more intelligent, less invasive, and more aligned with the body's natural repair systems. Joining him is Dr. Tommy Rhee, who breaks down recovery vs. overtraining, why “push through pain” backfires, and how next-gen regenerative signaling may support longevity, mental resilience, and trust in the healing process—without aggressive intervention. About the Guest: Dr. Tommy Rhee is a sports chiropractor, author, and practitioner focused on cell-free regenerative medicine and performance recovery. He has experience spanning elite athletics, clinical work, and military service. Key Takeaways: Recovery is as essential as training—overtraining can drive chronic injury. “Aggressive recovery” can worsen compromised tissue; strategic rest matters. Regenerative medicine focuses on signals that support tissue repair. Non-invasive topical delivery may reduce risks tied to injections. Physical healing impacts mood and identity—mind, body, and purpose interact. Fasting may help some people reset habits, but approach it thoughtfully. Interview with Terry Lynch, CEO of Power Metallic MinesOur previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/power-metallic-tsxvpnpn-aggressive-drilling-and-land-expansion-fuel-growth-potential-7925Recording date: 29th January 2026Power Metallic (TSXV: PNPN) is advancing one of the world's rarest deposit types—an orthomagmatic polymetallic discovery at its NISK project in Quebec. CEO Terry Lynch recently outlined the company's significant 2025 achievements and ambitious 2026 plans, positioning the explorer for a transition toward mine development. The company's most significant 2025 milestone was a metallurgical study delivering exceptional 95% recovery rates across its metal suite, substantially exceeding the 80% modeled. Specific recoveries include copper at 98.9%, palladium at 93.9%, platinum at 96.8%, gold at 85%, and silver at 88.9%. These results address a primary concern in polymetallic projects and, combined with near-surface mineralisation, position NISK as a low-capital, high-margin opportunity with estimated internal rates of return approaching 100%.Power Metallic also successfully consolidated its land position, acquiring seven of eight priority targets around the discovery. Orthomagmatic deposits are exceptionally rare—only 20 discovered globally—with 19 of 20 developing into multi-mine districts. The company now controls a land package six times larger than at the discovery stage, providing district-scale development potential. The company raised $50 million in 2025 and currently holds approximately $33 million cash, fully funding its aggressive 2026 program without near-term financing needs. Plans include 100,000 meters of drilling using five rigs expanding to seven, testing four transformative exploration targets beyond the known Lion zone. The "Elephant" target, emerging from borehole electromagnetic surveys, theoretically measures five times Lion's size and represents the largest anomaly the technical team has encountered.Beyond Quebec, Power Metallic is diversifying its portfolio through a Chilean Metals spinout (TSXV listing expected within weeks) consolidating copper-gold assets near the Candelaria mine, plus three large-scale Saudi Arabian concessions offering significantly lower exploration costs and unprecedented government incentives including 75% project financing at 1% interest rates. With commodity prices strengthening across its metal portfolio and multiple near-term catalysts including drill results and a preliminary economic assessment targeted for Q4 2026 or Q1 2027, Power Metallic is positioning for significant rerating as markets recognize the development potential of this rare discovery.View Power Metallic's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/power-metallicSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
From Apple News In Conversation: Since President Trump took office just over a year ago, federal immigration enforcement has substantially expanded — nowhere more visibly than in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where federal officers have killed two American citizens, Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Widespread protests, scrutiny of ICE operations, and questions about accountability have intensified in recent weeks. Caitlin Dickerson, staff writer for The Atlantic, sat down with Apple News In Conversation host Shumita Basu to discuss what’s happening inside ICE today — and what these latest developments could mean going forward.

Think George Carlin meets Sam Kinison."- The Georgia straight"Considered one of the best stand-up comedians of his generation..."- The FAMOUS PEOPLE.COM"Finally, Simon King entered the room and, almost as soon as he started speaking, the crowd was roaring with laughter. And the laughter never quieted. King is pure genius.... He never comes off as arrogant, but simply remains likable. And when he topped of his time with a message to the audience about the way people need to be living their lives, it was a poignant moment that proved he cares about what he does. He doesn't take the stage for granted. He uses it to make us laugh and make us think. And that comparison to George Carlin is not to be taken lightly. King could very well become as influential to comedy as Carlin was.""It's not very often a comedian comes along who can perform and write that well. Aggressive, truly insightful and possessing a unique explosive delivery all his own, he bombards and challenges the audience with intelligent and flat out hilarious material at break neck speed. With numerous national television and radio appearances including Comedy Network, CBC, CTV, TBS, Comedy Central and TBS among many more his resume speaks for itself. “Send Coach John a message”I found so many powerful posts today and I wanted to share this one with you first. Coming at you a little bit late in the day today, but sometimes “life” gets in the way a bit. So, I'm in the library studio today and getting some stuff done. This comes from Curious Minds (@CuriousMindsHub) where this one hit me right between the eyes and I hope you connect with it too! “It's time to get more aggressive about the life you want.” It is time. Not just because it's late January of a new year, but it's because it's TODAY! Today is the only time I can do something about this because that is the moment I'm in. Truthfully, it would have been really easy to stay at home. The weather is cold and nasty, but I knew I wanted to get back to my “roots” of going someplace outside of the house, getting a coffee and having a quiet space to work in. My local library offers this with their study rooms to sign up for. So many podcasts, school work, video recordings, etc., have been done here. I knew I wanted to take some time to really intentionally focus on getting some things done, investigated, read, watched, etc. So I hope this reminds you to do the same - as soon as you can!! Ryan dives deep into the data after John Kuhn's confusing analytics tweet sparked debate about defensive aggression. Using actual NFL coverage numbers, the analysis reveals a shocking truth: coverage shells tell us almost nothing about how aggressive a defense really is. The Minnesota Vikings run cover two more than almost any team in football—traditionally the "bend don't break" coverage—yet they lead the NFL in blitz rate at 48%. Meanwhile, the elite Texans defense barely blitzes and avoids man coverage entirely. The episode breaks down why personnel determines possibility, why the best coverages work precisely because they're used sparingly, and why fans are actually craving unpredictability rather than aggression. Ryan also explains his continued support for Jim Leonard as DC candidate before wrapping with day one updates from East-West Shrine Bowl practice, including standout performances from Cade Klubnik, Harold Perkins Jr., and several stock-rising prospects Packers fans should watch. Lincoln opposed slavery's expansion but acknowledged its constitutional protection where it already existed, believing the South was misled by elites and would eventually return to the Union. Ironically, Lincoln and Buchanan, though political opposites, worshiped at the same Washington church, sharing an old-school Presbyterian background.1861 ST. MICHAEL'S, CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA
Every individual human life is sacred. Every individual person is of infinite value. In Genesis 9, at the end of the flood, God assures Noah and his family of this truth. He says that if a person takes the life of any other human, he will hold that person accountable. This passage is meant to get everybody to feel the weight of your neighbor's glory, to feel the weight of the value God has invested in every human being. If you really let this passage have its effect, you will come out saying to yourself, “I cannot ignore people the way I do. I have to treat people seriously. I have to honor them. I have to be aggressively compassionate.” Let's see how this passage makes a case for us to be a compassionate people. The case is 1) every human being is made in the image of God, and 2) every human being is held accountable for that image.
