It was another battling performance as City recorded a 1-0 win at Stevenage to make it nine points out of a possible 12 to start the season. The Imps showed real determination to come out with the win - with head coach Michael Skubala saying he was proud of his players. Jack Moylan was also delighted after capping off his first start of the season with the winning goal from the penalty spot

What a win! An electric performance from the Imps sealed a 4-1 win over Mansfield Town at the LNER Stadium. Sean Roughan and Ben House were on the scoresheet, with Adam Jackson netting twice and going agonisingly close to a first-ever hat-trick. He felt a quick start from his team-mates set them up for the victory. Head coach Michael Skubala also praised the fans. He was delighted with the way his side implemented the game plan.

The games are coming thick and fast as the season gets underway - with another large crowd expected when Mansfield visit on Saturday. Michael Skubala says it has been a good week on the training pitch in the build up to the game. JJ McKiernan has started all three games so far this season. The summer arrival from Morecambe feels he's now settled into life with the Imps.

City may have fallen to defeat against Barnsley, but Jovon Makama caught the eye with another battling performance and it took a brilliant save to deny him.   Head coach Michael Skubala was frustrated with the result, but felt the performance merited something out of the game.

Summer signing Tendayi Darikwa is now fully settled into life with the Imps, and got off the mark with a goalscoring debut in the opening-day win at Burton Albion. He is now looking forward to sampling the big-match atmosphere of the LNER Stadium for the first time when Barnsley visit on Saturday. Head coach Michael Skubala is also looking forward to the match, and thinks supporters have a big part to play this season.

What an opening day that was! Nerves may have been shredded by the end but the lads dug deep to win 3-2 at Burton Albion and start the season on a high. Tom Bayliss was instrumental in the win, providing crosses for two of the three goals. He thought we started well and responded well to going one goal down. And head coach Michael Skubala is keen to take the momentum from the victory into Tuesday's Carabao Cup clash with Harrogate Town.

The 2024/25 season gets underway this Saturday evening as City head to Burton Albion. We catch up with skipper Paudie O'Connor and head coach Michael Skubala to look ahead to the new campaign.

Lewis Montsma could not have dreamt of a better return to the LNER Stadium - scoring with his first touch of the ball. Michael Skubala was pleased with the spirit his side showed in the second half to come back from a goal down against the young Gunners, and also reflected on a very special moment as Lewis netted the equaliser just moments after coming off the bench.

City's warm-weather training camp is now heading towards the final days with the focus fully on Friday's friendly against Preston North End. We caught up with head coach Michael Skubala and midfielder Conor McGrandles who are looking forward to getting into match action again.

Lincoln City are three days into the warm weather training camp in Spain, and after some intense days the focus is beginning to turn to Friday's friendly against Preston North End. A number of Imps fans have now made the trip out ready to back the lads in the fixture at the Pinatar Arena.  We caught up with captain Paudie O'Connor and forward Freddie Draper, who ar both buzzing to have supporters out with them.

JJ McKiernan and Jamie Pardington have found it pretty easy to settle into life as City players - helped by joining the rest of the first-team squad for a pre-season training camp in Spain. We catch up with both, with Jamie explaining that goalkeepers work just as hard as outfield players during pre-season despite skipping the punishing training drills.

City's first-team are in Murcia as they build towards the start of the 2024/25 season. We'll bring you daily behind the scenes content, including interviews from players and staff. We start with Tendayi Darikwa and Zak Bradshaw who tell us how they're finding their first pre-seasons with the Imps.

The 2024/25 season is just around the corner - with fixture release day always a key milestone towards a new campaign. We caught up with head coach Michael Skubala who reflects on the opening fixtures, as well as the club's 140th birthday celebrations which included the official opening of the Co-op Community Hub to provide a new home for the club's Foundation.

Conor McGrandles returned to Lincoln City as the first permanent signing of the summer transfer window. Listen back to his first interview after committing his future to the Imps.  

City celebrated a memorable season at the annual End of Season awards. The top prize went to goalkeeper Lukas Jensen who was named Player of the Season, while there was a special moment as chairman Clive Nates was given the Special Recognition award. It was a battling performance against champions Portsmouth, but in the end it was not enough as City fell agonisingly short of the play-off positions. But it was another display to be proud of in of season which has brought many. Head coach Michael Skubala was gutted after the match, but could take pride in the way his side have performed since the turn of the year. And midfielder Ethan Erhahon picked up the Vic Withers Trophy as the supporters' player of the year. He was able to reflect on an impressive season and something to build on in the future.

Saturday's game against Portsmouth is a huge one - a win for City and we're in the play-offs, but there can be many tougher tasks than facing the side who have been crowned champions of the division. Head coach Michael Skubala is excited for the occasion and says his side have earned the right to take on the champions with the prize of a play-off place in sight.  Lasse Sorensen says everyone at City is well aware of how good a side Portsmouth are, but also believes there is a real sense of belief among the side at the moment.

Ron and Andrew Fowler have joined the investment group at Lincoln City through Liquid Investments, Inc.   The Fowlers are long-time friends and associates of City board member Harvey Jabara, with Ron previously leading the ownership group at MLB outfit San Diego Padres. They've been over to Lincolnshire to meet staff at the Imps, and will attend their first game on Saturday when champions Portsmouth visit the LNER Stadium. Hear from Harvey as well as City chairman Clive Nates about why they are convinced Ron and Andrew Fowler are a perfect fit with Lincoln City.

The 2-1 win at Cheltenham Town really sets up an exciting final game of the season - with one fixture left in the regular season, City know victory would secure a play-off spot. The Imps had to come from behind at Whaddon Road, but goals from Joe Taylor and Freddie Draper secured three points - and in the end we saw out the win with a determined performance.  

Ethan Erhahon has been impressed with the fantastic travelling support as the Imps prepare for Saturday's trip to Cheltenham. Alongside Michael Skubala, the Scotsman has previewed City's upcoming fixture against the Robins.

Tuesday's 1-0 win at Oxford United kept City in the play-off mix - victory at the Kassam Stadium kept us two points behind the hosts in the fight for sixth place. Lukas Jensen kept City in the match with a couple of big saves, and with 19 clean sheets now leads the race for the golden glove. Head coach Michael Skubala was pleased to put the pressure on Oxford as we head into the final two games.

Tuesday's trip to Oxford United is now an important one for the Imps' hopes of a play-off spot - but the pressure of expectation is now all on the home side. Lukas Jensen has had an unusual journey - giving up football completely as a teenager to focus on mountain biking, before moving to England where he was training with international goalkeepers at Premier League club Burnley. He joined the Imps in the summer and has been part of one of the meanest defences in League One, as well as the shootout hero of City's Carabao Cup win at Premier League side Sheffield United earlier in the season..

It was a tough day at the LNER Stadium as our unbeaten run came to an end with defeat to Wigan. But, after dusting ourselves off after a first defeat in more than three months, we can take great pride in the long unbeaten run which has put us right in the play-off mix. Forward Ben House and head coach Michael Skubala were understandably gutted after the game, but vowed to put everything into recovery and preparation for Tuesday's exciting game at Oxford United.

Lasse Sorensen has played his most minutes of any season in his career with the Imps still having four games left this season. Alongside the head coach Michael Skubala, he previews City's upcoming game against Wigan Athletic.

City had to settle for a point at Reading, with the 1-1 draw extending the unbeaten run to 16 games. Although results elsewhere dropped the Imps down to seventh, City's fate remains in their own hands as they head into the final four games of the season. For Freddie Draper scoring his first League One goal was a special moment - he's relishing playing an important role in the team during the run-in to the campaign. Head coach Michael Skubala was frustrated to see his side pegged back, but felt a point was a fair result against an impressing Royals side.

Ted Bishop has caught the eye with his performances in City's impressive form, as he and his team-mates head to Reading looking to stretch their unbeaten run to 16 games he tells us about the belief he has in himself and his colleagues. Ben House got City up and running against Carlisle United, with Joe Taylor and Ted Bishop making the game safe. But the relegation-threatened Cumbrians battled hard and Ben was not surprised at how much his side had to dig in. Lincoln City's great form has certainly caught the eye, but skipper Paudie O'Connor knows it will only mean something if the Imps continue to perform in the final games of the season. Sean Roughan is thriving under the creativity afforded to him by head coach Michael Skubala. Speaking on the day he turned 21, the centre-back has already amassed 89 senior appearances for the Imps and thinks this current form is the most he has enjoyed playing for the club. Michael is enjoying the unbeaten run which now stretches to 12 games, but is taking it just one game at a time as he looks to mastermind a strong finish to the season.

It was another memorable night under the lights at the LNER Stadium as the scintillating Imps put six past Cambridge United.   Dylan Duffy came off the bench to strike, with Jack Moylan (2), Joe Taylor (2) and TJ Eyoma also on the scoresheet for the Imps. The Lincoln City Football Club that Clive Nates invested into in early 2016 is almost unrecognisable from the entity that now sits established in League One. Who better to talk us through the incredible rise than Clive himself. Joe Taylor's first goal for the Imps was enough to seal a 1-0 win over Exeter City and extend our unbeaten run to seven games.   Joe was delighted to get off the mark, and hopes there is much more to come in red and white for him. Head coach Michael Skubala, meanwhile, hailed a battling three points.

It was another battling performance from City to claim a point at Charlton. Reeco Hackett's rocket gave the Imps a deserved lead at The Valley. Freddie Ladapo earned Charlton a point, but City more than stood up to the London side to extend their unbeaten run to six games. Head coach Michael Skubala was particularly pleased with the resilience his side showed in the second half. Ethan Ethahon felt his side coped well with the large crowd and new manager effect on the night.
