Arsenal head to Fratton Park for a heavily rotated FA Cup tie as Mikel Arteta looks to manage minutes after a demanding festive period. With ten changes to the starting XI, the discussion centres on squad depth, fringe players getting opportunities, and how standards are maintained despite wholesale rotation. The episode focuses on Gabriel Martinelli's response after a difficult week in the spotlight, as he delivers a hat-trick performance that sparks wider debate around confidence, form, and what a strong showing against lower-league opposition really tells us. The panel assess missed chances, set-piece effectiveness, and the recurring importance of timing, movement and decision-making in the final third. There's detailed analysis of individual performances across the pitch, including minutes for returning players, youth involvement, and how certain roles are being managed within Arteta's system. The conversation also touches on discipline, game management, and what Arsenal can — and can't — take forward from a cup tie like this.In the second half, attention turns to the broader picture. The panel react to a major contract renewal, discuss changes behind the scenes at the club, and examine what those shifts could mean for Arsenal's long-term structure. There's also discussion around marginal gains, including set-pieces and throw-ins, and how fine details continue to shape Arteta's approach. The episode closes with a preview of the upcoming Chelsea semi-final, debating selection, rotation versus continuity, and how Arsenal should balance short-term knockout ambition with the demands of a congested fixture schedule.Chapters:(00:00) - Arteta's Non-Negotiables Intro(00:53) - Rotation at Fratton Park: Ten Changes and Squad Management(02:08) - Bench Depth, Returns and Youth Opportunities(02:52) - 1-0 | Early Sloppiness and a Wake-Up Call(04:30) - 1-1 | Set-Piece Response and Own Goal Impact(05:16) - Madueke: End Product vs Off-Ball Work(06:06) - 1-2 | Martinelli's First: Near-Post Movement and Set-Piece Value(07:51) - Missed Chances, Confidence and Finishing Debate(09:41) - Penalty Drama and Decision-Making(11:33) - 1-3 | Quick Restart, Game Control and Martinelli's Second(14:07) - 1-4 | Hat-Trick Moment: Corners, Timing and Momentum(15:40) - Substitutions, Returns, Youth Minutes & Stats(18:34) - Nwaneri, Creativity and Role Interpretation(21:20) - Ben White's Performance and Defensive Balance(22:35) - FA Cup Context and Fixture Demands(24:00) - PT.2 Saka Contract Renewal Reaction(27:03) - Per Mertesacker's Departure and Academy Impact(31:13) - Marginal Gains: Throw-Ins and Fine Details(36:21) - Centre-Back Depth and Transfer Speculation(43:27) - Chelsea Semi-Final Preview: Selection and Priorities(48:41) - Havertz Minutes, Rotation and Short-Term Planning(51:57) - Left-Side Balance and Tactical Trade-Offs(57:48) - Final Thoughts and Looking Ahead

In this episode, Ciaran McArdle, CEO of XL Sports World and author of The Soccer of Success, joins Julie Kratz to discuss how the principles of the "beautiful game" can be used to transform corporate leadership. McArdle shares three key strategies for high-performance leadership, drawing parallels between the soccer pitch and the professional workplace: 1. Tailored Leadership: Meet Team Members Where They Are Effective leadership requires a nuanced approach, much like a soccer captain managing a diverse squad. Individualized Communication: McArdle notes that while one teammate may need direct, vocal feedback to improve performance, another might require a quieter, more supportive "arm around the shoulder". Psychological Insight: Leaders must understand the unique psyche of each team member to determine the best way to motivate them and demand their best. 2. The "White Line" Concept: Establish Clear Boundaries In soccer, crossing the white line onto the pitch signifies a complete shift in intensity and mindset. Performance Intensity: While on the "field" (the workplace), teams should maintain high focus and be willing to ask tough questions to drive results. Switching Off: Equally important is crossing back over that line. McArdle emphasizes that once work is done, leaders must normalize stepping away and focusing on recovery to avoid burnout. 3. The 90-Minute Mindset: Protect Deep Work McArdle introduces a "90-minute mindset" for productivity, mirroring the length of a standard soccer match. Distraction-Free Focus: He advocates for scheduling 90 minutes of uninterrupted work—phone on airplane mode and emails closed—to tackle high-impact goals. The "Hattrick of Success": This focus is part of a larger cycle: Plan, Perform, and Recover/Review. Consistent execution in this format allows teams to perform at elite levels without sacrificing long-term mental health. Follow Ciaran McArdle at https://soccerofsuccess.com/.

Kid A.G., El Pres, and Hat Trick pile into The Studio and immediately unload on Bay City's traffic nightmare—Veterans Bridge construction turning every drive into a rage-inducing crawl while the city pretends it's progress. Hat Trick breaks down small-town politics: old-timers screaming about nonexistent crime waves fueled by Facebook bots and Fox News, demanding a police force the budget can't touch, while the new mayor actually does the homework to shut it down. Conversation swings to never feeling scared in local dive bars, teenage kids learning to drive, and Hat Trick's daughter already licensed while her son couldn't care less. Fedorov jersey retirement sparks Wings ticket excitement, stories of past games, and old-school hockey nostalgia. Things get filthy fast—AI chatbots turning lonely people into digital sex addicts, Kid demoing a disturbingly eager bot that escalates from casual to full-on dirty talk in seconds. Hat Trick shares fireman hook-up details (double loads, dripping hours later), debates whether catching your partner sexting an AI would piss you off, and insists women won't ditch real dick for robots. Stack dating, quiet quitting, media hype, generational gripes, avocado toast myths, and pretentious academic word salads all get roasted. OnlyFans cash potential, missed pregnant photo ops, feet pics, and spinning off platforms come up alongside hottie worship. Elvis outtakes, facial finish obsessions, AI-generated motorboat songs, and dinosaur-hand jerk fantasies close it out. Pure rambling Michigan chaos—traffic rants to cum-dripping texts, zero script, all tangents.
Host King Jemison breaks down a slew of topics following the Penguins' 7-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday evening. What things changed for the Penguins in a positive start after the holiday break? How were Brazeau, Bryan Rust, Anthony Mantha and Noel Acciari able to take advantage of scoring opportunities? How will the second line be affected by the eventual return of Evgeni Malkin? Was a better game from Arturs Silovs a sign of things to come? And what can coach Dan Muse get from the emerging blue-line pairing of Ryan Shea and Jack St. Ivany? King tackles those topics and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Episode 2297: Hat Trick walked in the day before she turns 39 looking like someone who'd been power-washed by sex and still had a smile on her face. Then she opened her mouth and the room needed a cigarette. She casually mentions she watched gay hockey drama with her teenage daughter because "bonding." The kid now has a thing for Russian accents and sudden violence on ice. Great job, mom. You've raised a connoisseur. Then the fireman shows up at 7 a.m. Sunday—unannounced, unapologetic—with a purple knotted dragon dildo the size of a municipal fire extinguisher. Hat Trick's exact review: "It didn't all fit, but I came so many times I forgot what numbers are." She followed that up with the quote of the year: "He has a really nice dick, but right now I want NOTHING more than that dick." Kid A.G. took time out of his busy schedule of hiding cock rings in his girlfriend's sheets to drop wisdom on his 18-year-old self: "Never get married." Solid advice from a man currently living out of a duffel bag at his girlfriend's house like a horny hobo. We let the AI, Eve, explain gooning. Turns out it's just staring at porn until your soul leaves your body and your dick files for disability. Mormons, in their infinite panic, built an actual anti-gooning app. Somewhere there's a prophet screaming "Put down the Kleenex and pick up the scriptures, Brayden!" We revisited the greatest marriage theory ever invented: if she switches from Lucky Charms to granola, start looking for blowjobs in the goodbye letter. Explains 94 % of divorces and 100 % of mid-life affairs with yoga instructors. Hat Trick actually blew off dinner with her own brother because the fireman texted "quickie?" and she responded before the message even finished sending. Family? What's that? There's a dragon dildo in the driveway with her name on it. Birthday plans for tomorrow: the second the kids are out the door, scheduled birthday sex, followed by getting completely shitfaced in that exact order. Responsible parenting, everybody. We also covered ghost shits (they happen, nobody knows why), eleven-dollar Nancy Sinatra karaoke tracks, Dua Lipa thirst traps that could restart your heart, and the national emergency of Rick Springfield still being absolutely jacked at 76. The man is 76 and looks like he could bench-press your dad. Retire already, Rick, you're making the rest of us look soft. This episode is raw, unhinged, and contains zero apologies. Hat Trick's vagina deserves a Purple Heart and a parade. Explicit as always. Hide your kids, hide your dragon dildos. #GoingDeepShow #Episode2297

The Dallas Stars demolished the Senators 6-1 and keep their scoring frenzy alive in a game that Wyatt Johnston found the back of the net three times!
Wyatt Johnston delivered one of the best performances of his career with a hat trick and four-point night as the Dallas Stars rolled past the Ottawa Senators. Jason Robertson continued his dominant scoring streak, and the Stars executed one of their most complete games of the season. However, the win came with a major concern: Lian Bichsel suffered an injury that could impact the already-strained Dallas blue line. Ryan and James recap the big moments, break down standout performances, evaluate the defensive depth, and discuss why this version of the Stars is beginning to look like a legitimate contender. Episode 2296: Kid A.G., El Pres, and Hat Trick walked into the studio like three people who definitely should not be allowed microphones. What followed was the usual circus of bad ideas and worse opinions. We started with Demi Moore's new movie The Substance, where she basically clones a younger, hotter, meaner version of herself. Hollywood's message is crystal clear: aging is fine, as long as you're willing to let your younger clone murder you and wear your skin like a prom dress. Honestly, sign me up. I'd kill present-day me for a 25-year-old upgrade too. We all would. Don't lie. From there we took a hard left into the Smithsonian-level exhibit of pubic hair through the decades. The 1970s had bushes you could lose a toddler in. The 90s gave us the landing strip, which is just nature's way of saying "the runway is clear, please crash your plane into my vagina." And now? Bald. Completely bald. Like a porn star or a dolphin. Grown adults are out here waxing themselves into pre-pubescent seals because apparently hair is the ultimate boner kryptonite. Congratulations, humanity, we've solved sex by turning it into a slip-n-slide. Politics tried to crawl in (something about Epstein files), but we gave it the 45-second mercy kill it deserved. Nobody came here to feel depressed; we came here to feel confused and slightly aroused. AI music is apparently so good now that the guys made a legit alt-metal intro in thirty seconds. Thirty. Seconds. Your band has been practicing in your mom's basement for twelve years and still sounds like a trash-can fire. Skynet just replaced you with a laptop and a dream. In other news, competitive sperm racing is a thing and it just raised ten million dollars. Ten. Million. Somewhere there's a venture capitalist watching tadpoles do laps while yelling "SWIM, YOU LITTLE TRUST-FUND BABIES, DADDY NEEDS A YACHT." Some study says seventy percent of people would rather go to a concert than have sex. Seventy percent. The crew reacted the way normal humans do: with violent, screaming denial. Who are these eunuchs? Name them. I want to fight them in a parking lot while a Dave Matthews cover band plays in the background. Hat Trick then treated us to the Director's Cut of her weekend with the new fireman: Hampton Inn points, drinks, an hour-long first round, choking on date one (very romantic), and a recovery time so fast the entire room accused him of mainlining sketchy blue pills. Also "good girl" still turns her into a puddle. Science is undefeated. We rounded things out with Ozempic side effects, breeding kinks, praise kinks, Andrew Tate's nightmare hypothetical (Megan Fox with a dick vs Hulk Hogan with a pussy—still the worst would-you-rather in history), personal 24-hour body-count records that would make Caligula blush, a brutal takedown of the "women don't need men" TikTok crowd (congrats on the vibrator, enjoy dying alone with twelve cats and a charging cable), and the daily reminder that your phone is listening to you masturbate. Oh, and Paralyzer's Hottie of the week is back, a wiffle-ball-bat phone prank went full war crime, and the AI closed the show with an Irish-punk song telling everyone to chuck their phone into the ocean because it's just a glass pacifier for adults who are terrified of silence. Same circus, Same clowns. Press play and lower your expectations accordingly. Explicit • You already knew that • #GoinDeepShow #Episode2296

After a men's international break that delivered some wonderfully joyful moments, the Eberechi Eze hat-trick for Arsenal, in his first North London derby, was up there. Musa and Ryan chat about Eze's historic feat, during his childhood club's 4-1 win over Spurs at the Emirates Stadium, which sent the Gunners six points clear. They then move on to the rest of the Premier League (22:54), including Chelsea moving up to second, Newcastle's win over Manchester City and—while there's a lot of chat about the Liverpool side of it—Nottingham Forest winning back to back games at Anfield for the first time in 62 years (29:02). Elsewhere, Milan won the Derby della Madonnina to go second behind Roma (41:17), Barcelona were back at Camp Nou and closed the gap after Real Madrid dropped more points (46:56) and there's some chat about the Bundesliga and more (50:27).Don't forget, the Champions League is back this week, so to listen to our two other episodes this week, sign up as a member at patreon.com/stadio.Finally, it's less than a fortnight until our first show at the Southbank Centre in London, tickets are available here. For more podcasts each week, ad-free and in full, plus access to the Stadio Social Club and much more, become a Stadio member by going to patreon.com/stadio.
