We won! We won convincingly! Alex hosts with Chris and Seve both over the moon to talk through the best performance of the season. So far…In part one, a review of all four - four! - goals. Improved set plays, a couple of strokes for the ages and a competent, clinical number 9 all draw praise. Some comical defending, a dodgy penalty and a late consolation for the visitors do little to dampen the mood. Part two sees a wider perspective. Managerial flexibility, loan signings, some confusing club comms and, sadly in a sign of the times, the club statement on racist abuse are the focus before a sense check on League One and our progress to date. One for the ‘you are too negative' listeners, it's amazing what a win can do. Bring on Luton Town. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Richard Kone's story is far from ordinary. Born in Ivory Coast, at 16 years old he was made homeless. But, he turned that struggle into triumph.Representing Ivory Coast at the homeless world cup and making a name for himself. From the streets of Ivory Coast to England. His journey has been anything but ordinary. Football wasn't just a game, it was survival. League One player of the season. Young player of the season. A name on everyone's lips. Kone has just signed for QPR and will surely light up the championship this season. This isn't just a football story. It's about persistence. It's about seizing the moment. It's about never letting go of the dream. For Perspectives on Rising Ballers, this is Richard Kone. This episode was recorded before Kone's move to QPR on 13.08.25FOLLOW RISING BALLERS

Charlie is joined by Kyle to unpack a wild weekend and a landmark week. We start at the Coventry Building Society Arena, where Coventry City thrashed QPR 7–1 and, hours later, confirmed they've bought the stadium—what from that performance actually travels to next Saturday, and how does owning the ground change matchday revenue, planning, and control? Then it's down to League Two: why Walsall's clean, grown-up 1–0s feel like a platform and what stops last season's post-Christmas dip from repeating. We finish with Deadline Week triage: one club in the Championship, League One and League Two that still must add a starter—and how you avoid the classic late-window panic buy.Grab a brew, hit play, and tell us the one signing your club still needs before the shutters come down. This Podcast has been created and uploaded by EFL Hub. Highlights from the rest of the English Football League. The EFL's already a couple of weeks in, and the tables are shaking up fast. Stoke have shocked everyone by climbing to the top of the Championship alongside Boro and West Brom. At the same time, Pompey sit mid-table with an early win, and Wrexham is quickly learning you actually need to defend in this league. League One sees Stevenage sitting pretty at the top while giants Plymouth, Peterborough, and Reading languish at the bottom with 0-0-3 starts. In League Two, Chesterfield and Crewe Alexandra are both undefeated, while favorites Accrington Stanley stumble yet again out of the gate. And of course, Sam checks in on Morecambe — with the club's very survival hanging in the balance. For Premier League action, we cover EVERY match www.Dufootballshow.com

Fast forward 150 years, and now NFL legend Tom Brady owns part of the club! How did that happen?! And how did they go from League One heartbreak to smashing records and storming back into the Championship? This one's got drama, goals, dodgy paperwork, and a team that never gives up. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, TJ Ramini and Marlon via Spurs Kings TV as Luka Vuskovic registered a goal and an assist on his first appearance in our colours as we began a new era under Thomas Frank with a 2-0 win at Reading on Saturday. The 18-year-old defender, who linked up with the Club earlier this month after his move from Hajduk Split was agreed in 2023, was introduced as a half-time substitute against the League One side and wasted no time in making an impact, flicking on a corner from fellow new boy Mohammed Kudus - who also caught the eye with an impressive display - to tee up Will Lankshear for the opener four minutes into the second period, then picking out the bottom corner with a sharp finish from Kudus' pass a few moments later to double our lead. With two lots of 11 players deployed either side of half-time, it was a useful opening to our pre-season campaign and gave our new Head Coach a chance to run the rule over plenty of players.
