An Arsenal fan, a Chelsea fan and a mic talking all things football. What more could go wrong?
Hands up if you shed a tear for poor old Ole? No? Nobody? Well here at LLC we were quite upset... So sad that we decided to take break from the pod (just kidding blame Covid). Never fear though as we're back again covering all your footy needs, including the latest Arsenal/Chelsea games and the rest of the PL action.
Another week of football, another episode of Little Less Conversation. Burnley left Chelsea feeling a little blue after snatching a point at the Bridge. Elsewhere, Arsenal continued their fine form with a win against Watford in Arteta's 100th game in charge. The Manchester Derby added further fuel to the 'Ole Out' fire as Man City produced a dominant performance against Utd. The big shock of the weekend came from the London Stadium, where West Ham came away with a big win against Liverpool (Alisson fans look away!).
We're back again with another weekend of wins for both Arsenal & Chelsea. The Gunners came away with a big 3 points against Leicester as they continue there surge up the table. Chelsea also had success on the road thanks to two rockets from Reece James to remain top of the table. Elsewhere, Liverpool & Man City both dropped points & Nuno got the axe after only 4 months in charge at Spurs. However, the real question on everyone's lips is can Ricky do it on a cold rainy night in Stoke?
LLC returns for the first time since the international break... And what a week we chose to return! Arsenal's convincing win over Villa, Chelsea's thrashing of Norwich and last but not least Liverpool running riot at Old Trafford. Is this the end of Ole at the wheel? We discuss it all as well some 'toetally' inappropriate antics from a Man Utd legend.
On a weekend where AJ ensured another season with no titles at Tottenham, Arsenal ensured that North London stayed red. A convincing North London Derby win for the gunners left Spurs in disarray with big questions being raised over manager Nuno Espírito Santo. Elsewhere, Man City dealt Chelsea their first defeat of the season, as the blues failed to turn up to the races. We also take a look at some of the other weekends games, including a Bruno Penandes special (We're still waiting for the ball to come back into orbit!).
We're back again for another episode of LLC. Finally some good news for Amar, as Arsenal recorded back to back wins in the Premier League. Yes, we're just as surprised as you are. Can they keep the momentum up next weekend in the North London Derby? Elsewhere Chelsea continued to impress as they ran riot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Confidence will be high before their early kick-off against Man City on Saturday. We round up some of the other fixtures from the weekend, including a costly penalty miss by Mark Noble. We also take a quick look at the mid-week Mickey Mouse Cup fixtures with Arsenal taking on AFC Wimbledon & Chelsea playing Aston Villa.
Another game week, another episode, another Arsenal L. We're not sure how much more of this Amar can take! We take a look at another poor showing from Arsenal this time against Man City, which has left us questioning Mikel Arteta's future. Elsewhere Chelsea came away with a point against Liverpool after a fiery encounter at Anfield. We round things off with a look at Transfer Deadline Day... *Breaking News* it was an eventful day for most clubs apart from Arsenal.
Guess who's back? And we're not talking about Lukaku. Little Less Conversation returns with the new Premier League campaign getting under away. We kick things off with the big one, Arsenal vs Chelsea - or as we like to call it Amar vs Ricky. In the end there was only one winner. We assess both teams' starts to the season, which has seen the blues flying high and the gunners languishing near the bottom. We also take a look at the latest PL imports & exports, including the departure of what Amar has described as "Arsenal's worst signing ever!". We round things off by giving our season predictions for the top four and relegation spots.
Since our last episode England have marched into the Euro 2020 Final where they will play Italy on Sunday. This week's episode looks at England's historic semi-final win over Denmark and assesses the team's performance so far with Sterling, Walker and Shaw the standout performers. There's also praise for the main man himself Mr Gareth Southgate, who despite facing some criticism from us over the past few weeks, has led England to their first major final in 55 years. Is it finally coming home?
Guess who's back? Back again. Amar's back tell a friend. Amar returns to the pod just in time for the first knockout round of the Euros. On this episode we take a look at England's group stage performances and size up their chances against the Germans. We round things off with our predictions for every round of 16 tie!
Due to unforeseen circumstances Amar was unable to co-host this week's episode of LLC. Never fear as there's always an Arsenal fan ready to jump in on short notice. This week Ricky is joined by special guest host Param. We start the pod on a sombre note with a message of support for Christian Eriksen, and discuss the distressing incident that left the footballing world in shock. We go on to look at England's big win against Croatia in their first game at the Euros - too early to start singing Three Lions? We also take a look at some of the other eye catching matches & goals, including a worldly from Patrik Schick. We end the pod with Param putting his pod future on the line, as he bets it all on a big France win over Germany.
LLC returns for it's first post-season episode. Ricky's on top of the world (or at least Europe) after Chelsea successfully lifted the UEFA Champions League. And with Euro 2020 on the horizon we (just about) put our differences aside and take a look at England's chances. Is it finally coming home?
And with that the Premier League and Little Less Convo season comes to an end. It's been full of ups and downs throughout for Arsenal & Chelsea, and the final day was no different. On this week's episode we look at how Chelsea (or Spurs?) managed to secure Champions League footy next year despite losing. Elsewhere, fans returned to the Emirates and had something to cheer about as Arsenal got the win. We also take a look at how the other teams vying for European football got on, including the most coveted spot of them all in the Europa Conference League - it's going to be all choo choo trains and Harry Kane. We finish the pod off with team of the season, which as always caused some controversy between the hosts!
Back to back wins for Chelsea & Arsenal signalled another good week for the LLC hosts. Thomas Tuchel got another big win over Man City, while Arsenal condemned West Brom to life in the Championship next season. Elsewhere, there were shock losses for Leicester and Spurs, as well as a win for Man Utd that just about kept their title hopes alive.
Wins for Chelsea & Arsenal meant it was happy days on LLC this week. We also looked to Old Trafford where Man Utd managed to stop City winning the league... without kicking a ball. We round things up with a quick preview of the big European games coming up this week.
We're back and fully focused on the football (with the exception of VAR yet again!). The Arsenal goalkeeping curse struck again with a Bernd Leno blunder gifting Everton the 3 points. Timo Werner scored (yes, you read that right) to give Chelsea a vital win over top four rivals West Ham. Elsewhere, Spurs bottled another cup final and Liverpool dropped more points at home.
In a week where we should have been talking about the football, things have been overshadowed by talks of a breakaway European Super League. With football in dissaray, we rallied the troops and invited two guests on to this ESL special. Since recording this episode, we are delighted to see that plans have now been discontinued after ferocious backlash from the footballing world. We finish things off with a round up of the weekends games, because in the end it's the football and fans that matter the most.
On this week's installment of LLC we saw Chelsea & Arsenal return to winning ways. Chelsea ran riot at Crystal Palace, while Arsenal cruised to an easy win over relegation bound Sheffield United. We also unearthed some of Arsenal's ghosts of goalkeeping past, present & future, including the likes of Leno, Seaman & Flapihandski. We also round up the weekends other action, including a stunning win for Leeds over Man City.
We back baby and it's LIT! Little Less Pod returns after the international break. We were so glad to see the return of PL football... That was until Arsenal and Chelsea both took big L's. We start off looking at West Brom's stunning victory over the blues at Stamford Bridge. Followed by a demoralising Arsenal defeat at the hands of Liverpool. With the top four race wide open we look at some of the other games from the Easter Weekend, including wins for both Manchester Clubs.
On this episode of LLC we focus on the North London Derby. Arsenal welcomed Spurs to the Emirates to battle for three points and more importantly the bragging rights. In a game filled with talking points, we assess the best and worst moments (we're looking at you Eric Lamela). From rabonas to red cards, the game had a bit of everything! Elsewhere we look at a lacklustre Chelsea performance which just about kept them in the top four. We finish with a quick PL roundup, including wins for Burnley, Leicester and Man United.
Episode 20 of LLC is here and this week we have plenty of football to cover. We discuss Chelsea's wins over both Merseyside clubs, as Tommy T continued his impressive start to managerial life in England. We also look at Arsenal's misfortunes, as a Xhaka blunder (not the first time we've said that... or the last!) gifted Burnley a point. Elsewhere we talk about Liverpool's SIXTH home defeat in a row, City's winning streak ending at the hands of Man Utd, and some build up to next week's North London Derby.
On this episode of LLC we look at the latest round of Premier League games. The Gunners sent the Foxes screaming into the night with a convincing 3-1 win. Elsewhere, Chelsea mustered up another bore draw (that's two weeks running now!) with the help of Man Utd. We round up the highlights of the weekend's other games, including more VAR controversy (Yup it's happened again *rolls eyes*) and a 14 game winning streak. We also have one eye on Thursday night with Chelsea visiting Anfield.
On this week's episode we're joined by the man behind the Little Less Pod artwork. We've invited Arsenal fan, Param, onto the pod as we discuss the highs and (mainly) lows of the latest PL game week. We get Param's views on the season so far, including his predictions for Arsenal and the coveted top four places. We round things off with another wild quick fire round as we try to catch our guest out!
There were no broken hearts this Valentine's Day as both Arsenal & Chelsea picked up wins. The same couldn't be said for the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool though. We round up all the game week action, from hatricks to goalkeeper calamities... And of course pancakes!
There are plenty of talking points on this episode, with each team playing twice in the week. We look at Arsenal's recent slump in form, and Chelsea resurgence under Tuchel. Amar's left fuming with Video Ref's and the FA... While Ricky thinks he could just be o'VAR'eacting. We also look at the highs and lows from the other PL matches.
On this episode of LLC Man Utd fan Scham, returns as our special guest. We discuss the Arsenal v Man Utd game, which failed to live up to expectations. We also try to catch Scham out with some quick fire questions (There's a clue in the title!). We round things off looking at "Lil Tuchy's" first win as Chelsea boss.
We're back after a little break! There's been plenty of football to keep us 'entertained', with eight 1-0 wins *yawns* (A big shout out to Burnley though!). We catch up with all things Arsenal & Chelsea, and have some very frank discussions. We also update our League winner predictions, and round things off with a new Quick Fire Questions Round. Lets just say there were some very questionable answers!
Happy New Year to all our listeners! We kick off 2021 with Arsenal on the rise and Chelsea in a painful predicament. Is Lampard running out of time? We also hear some bold claims about who the Leagues best LB is. Lastly, January wouldn't be January without a bit of transfer gossip..
They're calling it the best revival since AJ vs Ruiz Jr II. Arsenal stuck to the basics while an overweight Chelsea struggled to keep up. In this Boxing Day Special we give our thoughts on the game, and discuss our favourite Arsenal vs Chelsea matches. Bragging rights and pride were on the line..
Tis the season to burst some bubbles tralalala la la la. On this episode we invite Hammers fan, Nick on to the pod. We look at Chelsea vs West Ham and discuss all things Premier League. The anger towards Arteta intensifies, as Amar calls for the sack!
It feels like we've been taking L's for days..well that's because we have! We take a look at losses for both Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as the weekends other winners and losers. We also celebrate our 10th episode by paying homage to some of best no. 10s to have graced the PL. Give us a follow at @littlelesspod
On this week's episode we round up all the latest Premier League action. We've also invited Arsenal fan Amir onto the Pod! We take an in-depth look at the North London Derby, including some hopeless crossing stats! Amir also helps us choose November's GOTM.
This week we pay tribute to arguably the greatest footballer of all time, Diego Maradona. In his honour, we take a look at some of the greatest players to never grace the Premier League. We also try to decide on who the modern day GOAT really is...Messi or Ronaldo? We finish of the episode with a round up of the weekends action!
We're back after a boring international break, to give you a round up of an exciting PL weekend. We discuss everything from headbutts to shocking penalties. We also have a little H2H prediction for next weekends fixtures, and an update on how our moustaches are coming along.
How do you ruin a Chelsea fans day? You put them on a podcast with two Arsenal fans! On this weeks episode we welcome Arsenal fanatic and season ticket holder, Sara to the pod. We look at the weekends action, discuss Arsenal greats through the years and throw in some Movember madness for good measure! Follow us on twitter @littlelesspod
Good God all mighty! The streak is OVER. After 14 years of pain, Mikel Arteta's tricky Gunners beat Man Utd at Old Trafford in the PL. On this episode we give our thoughts (and prayers to Utd fans) on the game, as well as all the other action from the weekend. We round things off with an October Goal of the Month competition!
Who the hell are Manchester United I hear you ask? That's what we wanted to know too. So we decided to get a "proper" Manc on the pod, all the way from Essex. We discuss the past, present and future...including an all time Chelsea/Man Utd XI. We also round up the latest PL action (hopefully we're more entertaining than the games themselves).
Due to Government guidelines we had to record this episode remotely, so Ricky dialled in. We discussed some more controversial decisions, squeaky defences and our favourite PL goals of all time.
The name says it all really... On this episode we welcome Thomas Partey to the Premier League. And with Halloween fast approaching, we discuss some absolute horror shows from Man Utd & Liverpool. We round things off with a special guest, who knows nothing about football?!
On this episode we look ahead to the start of the new Premier League season. We've got lots to discuss - big transfers, lots of goals and of course Arsenal vs Chelsea.
