Wolfie dives into what this means for squad stability as Nuno Espírito Santo prepares for the Europa Conference League campaign, celebrating the retention of these fan favourites. The exciting news doesn't stop there—Percy also sheds light on the imminent arrivals of Brazilian duo Jair Cunha and Igor Jesus from Botafogo, with medicals scheduled post-Club World Cup and a £30m deal nearing completion. Both players impressed by scoring in Botafogo's recent 2-1 win over Seattle Sounders, and Wolfie breaks down how their addition could bolster Forest's attack and defence, aligning with the club's strategy of targeting Portuguese-speaking talent. With Cunha's versatility and Jesus' proven goal-scoring form, could this duo mark the start of a new era for the Reds? But are more signings on the horizon? With the transfer window open since June 16, Wolfie speculates on potential moves, drawing from Percy's updates and ongoing links to players like Yoane Wissa and Richard Rios. Could the deal for Jair Cunha fall through after it has been revealed of his desire to stay in Brazil! To Buy Wolfie a Coffee Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv Join Wolfie on Forest Fan TV for a crucial transfer update as breaking news from Brazilian outlet O Globo, reported today, June 20, 2025, suggests that Botafogo defender Jair Cunha, a key target for Nottingham Forest, may want to remain with his current club! The 20-year-old centre-back, part of a £30m double deal alongside Igor Jesus, has impressed with two goals at the Club World Cup, including a header against Seattle Sounders, but his reported reluctance raises questions about the transfer's progress. Wolfie dives into whether this could derail Forest's plans to strengthen Nuno Espírito Santo's squad for the Europa Conference League. The twist comes as Cunha's desire to stay at Botafogo, where he's thriving under John Textor's ownership, contrasts with the verbal agreement Forest believed was in place, with medicals scheduled post-tournament. O Globo's reports hint at the young Brazilian's attachment to his homeland club, potentially complicating the £15m valuation placed on him as part of the deal. Wolfie explores if this is a genuine concern for the Reds or if a compromise, such as a loan-back option to Botafogo, could salvage the transfer, allowing Cunha to develop further while Forest secure his long-term commitment. Is this a setback for Nottingham Forest, or can they navigate this hurdle to bring Cunha to the City Ground? Wolfie dissects the implications while also weighing the impact on the squad alongside Jesus' confirmed move. The Colombian star, who impressed Forest back in January, has continued to shine, drawing interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur as well. With a reported £85m release clause, Wolfie dissects whether this ambitious move is feasible for the Reds, who are looking to bolster their midfield for the Europa Conference League, and explores how Rios' physicality and technical brilliance could fit into Nuno Espírito Santo's system. The stakes are high with Rios, described as a ‘freak athlete' by scouts, but the £85m price tag poses a significant challenge, especially with Premier League rivals circling. Forest's renewed interest follows their seventh-place finish and European qualification, signaling big ambitions under Evangelos Marinakis. For Exclusive Content Join FFTV Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ForestFanTV Join Wolfie on Forest Fan TV for a transfer update as Nottingham Forest make a move for Brentford striker Yoane Wissa! Africafoot recently reported that the Reds have lodged a “secret bid” for the 28-year-old DR Congo international, who's been in scintillating form with 19 Premier League goals last season. Brentford are holding out for a fee close to £35m, while new Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank—formerly of Brentford—has also entered the race, adding extra spice to this transfer saga. Wolfie dissects the details, exploring whether Forest can outmanoeuvre Spurs and secure Wissa's signature to bolster Nuno Espírito Santo's attack for the Europa Conference League. The competition is heating up, with Wissa's versatility and proven goal-scoring record (41 goals in 133 appearances for Brentford) making him a prime target for both clubs. Forest's interest aligns with their ambition to strengthen their frontline, especially with Chris Wood's age and Taiwo Awoniyi's inconsistent form in mind. Wolfie breaks down if £35m is a fair price for a player who's also caught Frank's eye at Spurs, with Tottenham's European football allure, this could be a tough negotiation. Plus, exciting news from the Club World Cup as soon-to-be Forest players Jair Cunha and Igor Jesus both found the net for Botafogo, boosting their profiles ahead of their anticipated moves to the City Ground. The versatile 24-year-old, who can play across the defence and midfield, has previously caught the eye of Manchester City and other elite clubs with his dynamic performances, including 3 goals and 5 assists in Serie A this season. With Forest looking to bolster their squad for the Europa Conference League, this move could signal big ambitions, but the expected £40m fee might stretch the budget—Wolfie dives into the details. The price tag reflects Cambiaso's rising stock, especially with his contract running until 2029, giving Juventus leverage in negotiations. Forest's interest comes amid a summer of bold moves, following links to Dušan Vlahović, and could see them compete with top sides who've tracked the Italian international. Wolfie analyses whether Cambiaso's pace, versatility, and European experience would strengthen Nuno Espírito Santo's backline, especially after a season where defensive depth was tested, or if the £40m investment might be better spent elsewhere as the transfer window opens on June 16. Is Andrea Cambiaso the right signing for Nottingham Forest, or is £40m too steep for a full-back? Valued for his physical presence and goal-scoring prowess—14 goals in 39 appearances this season—Vlahović sees Forest as the most attractive option, edging out interest from Manchester United and AC Milan, thanks to the Reds' European qualification and ambitious project under Nuno Espírito Santo. The transfer buzz is fuelled by Vlahović's contract situation, making him a potential bargain with Juventus reportedly open to a £25m deal, a steal for a player of his calibre who was once valued at £70m. With Forest's attacking options needing a boost ahead of their Europa Conference League campaign, Wolfie dissects whether this towering striker could be the missing piece, especially after Chris Wood's solid but aging output. Check out World Decor Supplies: https://worlddecorsupplies.co.uk/ Join Wolfie on Forest Fan TV for the latest transfer update as Anthony Elanga's potential move to Newcastle United heats up! According to a recent Teamtalk article, the Swedish winger is keen on a switch to St James' Park, where he could link up with fellow countryman Alexander Isak. Nottingham Forest, however, are holding firm, reportedly seeking a hefty £70m fee for the 23-year-old star who notched six goals and 11 assists last season, helping the Reds secure a seventh-place finish and European football. Wolfie dives into the details, exploring whether this blockbuster move could become reality amid Forest's strong negotiating position with Elanga's contract running until 2028. The £70m price tag reflects Elanga's rising stock and Forest's reluctance to let go of a key player, especially with a sell-on clause owed to Manchester United adding further complexity. Newcastle's interest has been reignited after a failed £55m bid last year, and with the Magpies now bolstered by Champions League qualification, they might stretch their budget to secure the pacey winger. Wolfie breaks down the financial and tactical implications for Nuno Espírito Santo's squad, questioning whether this fee could fund a squad rebuild or if Elanga's unique flair makes him irreplaceable as Forest prepare for their first European campaign since 1996. Would you be happy to see Elanga leave for £70m, or should Forest dig in to keep their star asset? Wolfie shares his expert opinion, weighing the pros and cons of cashing in versus holding onto a player who's become a fan favorite. After Forest rejected a £35m bid from the Magpies on Deadline Day last summer, recent reports indicate Newcastle are back, with Forest holding firm on a valuation exceeding £50m. Wolfie dissects whether Forest should consider cashing in on the 23-year-old Swedish speedster, who bagged five goals and nine assists last season, or if keeping him is crucial for Nuno Espírito Santo's European ambitions. With Elanga's pace and popularity in the squad, is £50m+ enough, or should Forest demand more for their key man? The transfer saga doesn't stop there! In this video, Wolfie breaks down the outcome of Palace's crunch meeting with UEFA, where co-owner John Textor's proposal to place his shares in a blind trust was rejected due to a missed registration deadline. This decision has left Palace's European dreams hanging by a thread, with their multi-club ownership issues involving Textor's stakes in both Palace and Lyon creating a major hurdle. The rejection of Textor's blind trust plan has significantly limited Crystal Palace's options, with the club now facing the possibility of complete expulsion from European competitions. To make matters worse, another Palace shareholder, David Blitzer, has ties to Danish club Brøndby, who qualified for the Conference League, ruling out a potential demotion to that competition. Wolfie discusses how this chaotic situation has opened the door for Nottingham Forest, who finished seventh in the Premier League and secured a Conference League spot, to potentially be promoted to the Europa League if Palace are disqualified. Danilo looks set to leave Forest this summer, but his potential transfer to Lyon has hit a roadblock! To Buy Wolfie a Coffee Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv Nottingham Forest's transfer saga takes a twist as Danilo's proposed €25m (£21m) move to Lyon faces complications, despite a bid confirmed by Fabrizio Romano! The Brazilian midfielder, who joined Forest from Palmeiras for £16-18m in 2023, is reportedly unhappy with a clause in the deal that could see him return to Botafogo—owned by Lyon's John Textor—in the future, as he'd prefer a move back to Palmeiras if returning to Brazil. With Forest's triple Botafogo signing (Igor Jesus, Jair Cunha, and Cuiabano) nearing completion, the club is keen to balance the books, but Danilo's reluctance could stall the transfer. In exciting incoming news, Forest are in pole position to sign Galatasaray's Turkish international winger Barış Alper Yılmaz, who looks set to leave the Super Lig giants this summer! With competition from RB Leipzig and West Ham, Forest's €20-25m bid (plus bonuses) puts them ahead, especially after Galatasaray rejected earlier offers. The 24-year-old, versatile forward, who's scored 12 goals and provided six assists this season, is keen on a Premier League move, and his pace and ability to play across the front line could supercharge Nuno Espírito Santo's attack alongside Igor Jesus. Wolfie analyses why Yılmaz could be the perfect fit for Forest's Europa Conference League campaign and how his signing might offset any Danilo departure. What do YOU think of today's transfer chaos? Only 99p!: https://footballprizes.co.uk/product/forest-bundle/ Nottingham Forest are making waves in the transfer market, with the Reds closing in on a sensational triple signing from Botafogo! Following our earlier report that a €20m (£16.8m) deal for striker Igor Jesus was agreed, fresh updates confirm Forest have now secured deals for two more Botafogo stars: centre-back Jair Cunha and left-back Cuiabano. The trio, set to join after Botafogo's FIFA Club World Cup campaign, could transform Nuno Espírito Santo's squad for the Premier League and Europa Conference League. Join Wolfie as he breaks down the latest on these exciting moves and what they mean for Forest's ambitions. Igor Jesus, the 24-year-old versatile forward with 15 goals and six assists in 54 Botafogo appearances, headlines the trio, but Jair Cunha and Cuiabano bring their own flair. Jair, a 6'5” 20-year-old defender likened to Murillo, offers physicality and ball-playing ability, while 23-year-old Cuiabano, a dynamic left-back with two goals and three assists in 21 games, adds versatility to the flanks. However, concerns linger about Jesus' reluctance to leave Brazil, which could affect his integration. What do YOU think of Forest's ambitious raid on Botafogo? Can Igor Jesus, Jair Cunha, and Cuiabano become the backbone of a European push, or is the gamble on three players from the same club too risky? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let's debate! With Evangelos Marinakis' influence and his ties to Botafogo owner John Textor driving these deals, Forest are making a bold statement. Wolfie breaks down the expected team sheet, with Forest facing a blow as Taiwo Awoniyi joins the injury list following his recent abdominal surgery after a collision with the goalpost against Leicester. With Awoniyi sidelined, alongside doubts over Murillo and Da Silva Moreira, and Callum Hudson-Odoi also potentially out, Wolfie examines how Forest can adapt tactically to secure three crucial points against a West Ham side coming off a 2-0 win over Manchester United. Wolfie shares his take on how he thinks the game will unfold, highlighting key battles like Morgan Gibbs-White's creativity against Tomas Soucek's defensive nous, and how Forest's defence can handle Jarrod Bowen's pace. Reports are circulating that boss Nuno Espírito Santo has emerged as the favourite for a high-profile managerial role in the Saudi League, raising questions about his future at the City Ground despite Forest's strong season. The panel also tackles the ongoing fallout from Taiwo Awoniyi's serious injury during the 2-2 draw against Leicester City, where a delayed offside call on Anthony Elanga led to the collision that caused Awoniyi's ruptured intestine. With Awoniyi now recovering after being woken from an induced coma on May 14, 2025, the panel discusses whether the Premier League needs an urgent rule change on offside decisions to prioritize player safety, especially after the assistant referee's hesitation left Forest effectively playing with 10 men. Looking ahead, the Grumpy Old Reds preview Forest's crucial weekend clash against West Ham, a match that could bolster their hopes of Champions League qualification. In this video, we dive into the rollercoaster of emotions from a match that saw Forest fight back with goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood, only to be pegged back by a stunning Facundo Buonanotte strike. The real drama unfolded after the final whistle when Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis stormed onto the pitch, engaging in what appeared to be a heated confrontation with manager Nuno Espírito Santo. Wolfie breaks down the match, the controversial moment, and the fallout—dissecting whether Marinakis' actions were justified or a step too far. The focus of this episode is the shocking post-match incident involving Marinakis, who was reportedly furious over a miscommunication regarding Taiwo Awoniyi's injury, which left Forest effectively playing with 10 men in the final minutes. Wolfie analyses the context behind Marinakis' pitch invasion, Nuno's composed response, and the mixed reactions from fans and pundits, including Gary Neville's scathing “scandalous” verdict. Was this a passionate display of ambition from an owner who's brought Forest back to European football, or an embarrassing overstep that undermines Nuno's incredible work this season? Wolfie shares his unfiltered take on whether Marinakis' reaction was valid, given Forest's guaranteed European spot but fading Champions League hopes. Can Forest bounce back from defeat to Brentford with a positive result at Selhurst Park? Win a Forest Team Signed Shirt! Only 99p!: https://footballprizes.co.uk/product/forest-squad-5/ Get ready for a crucial Premier League showdown with Forest Fan TV's match preview for Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest, kicking off this Monday evening! With only four games left in the season, the Reds, currently sixth in the table, desperately need a positive result to keep their Champions League hopes alive. Meanwhile, Palace are flying high after a 3-0 FA Cup semi-final win over Aston Villa, but with their final against Manchester City looming on May 17, could their focus be split? Wolfie breaks down the stakes for both sides in this massive clash. Wolfie dives into the key talking points, including how Nuno Espírito Santo should line up his squad to get back to winning ways. Palace, however, are a threat with their attacking duo of Eberechi Eze, Jean-Philippe Mateta, who've been in fine form this season. Wolfie shares his thoughts on the tactical battle, Forest's need to improve their first-half intensity after managing just two shots on target against Brentford, and how they can handle Palace's high press, which has seen them win possession in the final third 62 times this season, the fourth-highest in the league. Will Forest's defensive solidity—conceding only 40 goals this term—hold firm, or will Palace's firepower prove too much? We want to hear from you—how do you see this match playing out? Can Forest capitalise on Palace's potential FA Cup distraction and secure a vital three points, or will the Eagles' momentum carry them through? Join Wolfie on Forest Fan TV for an in-depth match reaction to Nottingham Forest's 0-2 defeat against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final yesterday, at Wembley Stadium. The Reds' dream of reaching their first FA Cup final since 1959 was dashed as City's Rico Lewis struck inside two minutes, followed by a thumping header from Josko Gvardiol shortly after halftime. Despite a spirited second-half fightback—where Forest hit the woodwork three times, twice through Morgan Gibbs-White, and once via Taiwo Awoniyi—they couldn't find a way past a clinical City side. Wolfie also dives into a recurring issue for Forest this season: why do they only seem to play well in one half? The second half showed their potential, with Anthony Elanga's pace causing problems and Gibbs-White nearly pulling one back, but it was too little, too late. Was it a tactical misstep from Nuno Espírito Santo, or did the occasion overwhelm a Forest side playing only their second match at the ‘new' Wembley since 2007? With key players like Ola Aina doubtful due to injury and Ryan Yates and Neco Williams absent through suspension, Forest struggled to match City's intensity early on. Looking ahead, Wolfie discusses what this result means for the rest of Forest's season as they refocus on their surprising Premier League campaign. Currently 6th in the table, the Reds are in a strong position to secure Champions League qualification, a feat that seemed unthinkable after last season's relegation scrap. However, with five ‘cup finals' left in the league, as Gibbs-White put it, can Forest channel their second-half resilience into consistent performances? How will this loss impact their momentum, and what lessons can they take into their remaining games? Share your thoughts on the match, Forest's approach, and their chances for the season in the comments below—we'd love to hear from you! #nffc #mancity #facup Learn more about your ad choices. With Cunha potentially heading to Man Utd could Forest be in for Brentford forward Mbeumo? The Footy Network: https://www.youtube.com/@TheFootyNetwork?sub_confirmation=1 Welcome to Forest Fan TV with your latest Nottingham Forest transfer update as we head into a pivotal summer window! In today's video, Wolfie dives into the breaking news that Brentford's prolific forward Bryan Mbeumo has emerged as Forest's top target. The 25-year-old Cameroon international has been in scintillating form, notching an impressive 18 goals in the Premier League this season, making him one of the division's standout performers. However, Brentford are reportedly holding firm with a £50m price tag for their star man, who's also been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United. We also bring you the latest on Ola Aina's injury situation as Forest prepare for their FA Cup semi-final clash against Manchester City at Wembley this weekend. The Nigerian defender, a key part of Nuno Espírito Santo's squad, has been sidelined recently, with Nuno confirming earlier this month that Aina was undergoing intensive treatment to return as soon as possible. His availability for the semi-final remains uncertain. Wolfie discusses how Aina's potential absence could impact Forest's defensive setup against a formidable City side and what it means for their chances of reaching the final. Are Manchester United interested in Forest winger Anthony Elanga? To Buy Wolfie a Coffee Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv Welcome to Forest Fan TV with your latest Nottingham Forest transfer update! In this video, Wolfie dives into the big news circulating over the past few days, that Forest's dynamic winger Anthony Elanga is being targeted by his former club, Manchester United. Elanga, who joined the Reds for a modest £15m in 2023, has transformed into one of the Premier League's most exciting talents, boasting six goals and nine assists this season while helping Forest chase a Champions League spot. Reports suggest United are among several top clubs monitoring the 22-year-old Swedish star, with Forest potentially open to offers above £42m (€50m). But should Forest cash in on their star winger, or is he too crucial to Nuno Espírito Santo's project to let go? There's more transfer buzz to unpack, as Forest have also been linked with a move for Fulham's Brazilian striker Rodrigo Muniz as a potential summer target. Muniz has caught attention with his recent form, though he's also been dealing with injury concerns, as noted in Fantasy Football Scout updates. With Forest's current striker situation uncertain—Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi have been battling injuries, and Elanga's potential departure could further strain the attack—Muniz could provide much-needed depth and firepower. Join Wolfie as he analyses these transfer stories and what they could mean for Nottingham Forest's future. Should the Reds hold firm on Elanga and reject any bids, even at £42m, or is this the perfect time to cash in and reinvest in the squad? And could Muniz be the answer to Forest's striker woes, or should they look elsewhere? We want to hear from you—drop your thoughts in the comments below. Welcome in for another edition of the Morning Espresso from the SDH Network, brought to you by Oglethorpe University, Atlanta's premier undergraduate learning experience and soccer powerhouse.Nottingham Forest are trying to book their spot in the Champions League for next season and secure a top-4 finish in the Premier League this season. Nuno Espírito Santo has gone about it in a very different way than most, but it has worked up to this point for his squad. They could be the first team in Premier League history to finish in the top 4 with average possession numbers of less than 40%. What's interesting is that they pair that with dropping off from a higher press as well. They try to pick teams off in the middle third or defensive third, baiting opposing center backs or defensive midfielders by dropping off the ball to take away their passing options. Forest's attackers almost want the opponent on the ball to pass them, they stay high and look for the direct counter. Nuno's side tries to force opponents to play longer or through a crowded middle of the pitch. When Forest wins the ball, they have even numbers to attack with a direct approach. It's worked well. Generally when they've conceded goals, it's been from crosses or from shots outside the 18. Is it a recipe for long term success? It's never been done this way and been successful for one season, so let's continue to wait and see. Could it get Forest to the Champions League? It's possible as 3 spots will get decided between 5 teams that are currently separated by 3 points. Forest is in 3rd at the moment with the top 5 going into next season's Champions League. Leeds and Burnley will rejoin the Premier League next season and have settled into that yo-yo level between the top flight and the Championship. Leeds want to be an established top flight team like they've been for the majority of this history (before the Premier League anyway), but can they get there? It seems that as time continues to tick on, there's a new tier of clubs between the Premier League and Championship. It's not ideal for teams to be constantly going back and forth, but I'm not sure what could be done to prevent these gaps forming between clubs based on riches or spending. Wrexham is trying to change their status as they seek their third straight promotion. They sit in 2nd place in League One right now and are on pace to earn promotion to the Championship. Is that where their promotion train slows? Will make for interesting television either way, right?Georgia high school soccer action is now into the state tournament portion of the schedule.
