Hosted by Sarah Githugu, Miseducate is a podcast based on the blog - of the same name. This podcast centres on self-growth and deepening perspective. Using personal experience, Sarah and guests talk about areas within life where they have been misinformed, how it affected them, others and what they are now doing to change it. In the age of misinformation and fake news, we have all been miseducated, whether on race, culture, religion etc. Miseducate, the podcast, attempts to make you laugh, think and hopefully start the conversation for change.
In this episode, we are celebrating the third anniversary of the podcast as well as the official end of the podcast. Sarah is joined by her sister and guest in residence, Sylvia Githugu, as they reminisce on the goals they set for each other in the episode “New Year, Same Me.” As well as their travelling adventures - together, solo and as Black women. Hello and welcome to the Mis/educate Podcast. Hosted by Sarah Githugu, writer of miseducateblog.com, this podcast is here to expand upon prior and future blog posts. As well as having open and honest conversations about the aspects of life we have been misinformed on. Whether that be relationships, religion, culture, you name it, we're here to talk about it. Each episode, Sarah will be talking about a different topic and inviting guests to talk about their own experiences of miseducation and what they are doing to re-educate themselves. This podcast aims to make you laugh, think and inspire conversations for change. None of us have it right, we are all miseducated.Keep up to date with all things Mis/educate:Instagram: @mis.educate Site: miseducateblog.com Music by:Matthew M.
