Send me a DM! ILY All!Today I'm honored and thrilled to have back on the show: Satanic and masonic ritual abuse and mind control survivor and whistleblower, YouTuber and content creator on her own YouTube channel @MayanMissions, first generational New Zealander, credentialed counselor with a specialization in Narrative Therapy, communication skill small group training course facilitator, traditional herbal medicine advocate, retreat co-facilitator, and healing warrior, our beloved podcast regular: sweetest Poppy Joy. In case you missed Poppy's first episode where she shared her incredible testimony, here's a brief recap: Poppy is a satanic and masonic ritual abuse survivor who was born into a multi-generational incest-based family and has recently been liberated from an immense amount of trauma that her body was struggling to contain anymore. Her memories started to surface in 2017 from a few triggers in her surroundings - including: a vicious semi-wild dog on the loose, a jellyfish sting that gave her a histamine reaction where her entire body was covered in a rash, and swollen lips and other orifices. In Poppy's shocked state of remembering what she was programmed to forget, her then partner encouraged her to keep breathing through what she was experiencing, and scenes. Poppy's earliest memories were related to her senses - she remembered that her eyesight and hearing never developed normally and her perceptions have been energetic, meaning that she can observe the movement of energy, experience telepathy, and with focus can see how black magic practices are done. Poppy also discovered that rituals are done to empower government legislation. She found how consciousnesses are connected to calendars and astrological systems and that rituals are performed with dates and planetary alignments.Poppy has a degree in Counseling, has specialized in Narrative Therapy, has training as a small group facilitator teaching communication skills and courses such as “Changes that Heal”. She has studied traditional herbal medicine during cancer/morgellons treatments, and was a retreat co-facilitator prior to 2017 when her memories started to crowd in. At the time her memories started pouring in, she was not able to tend to other's lives while her own life needed so much attention. Although Poppy is still actively on her healing journey, she has come so far in such a short amount of time and is now courageously speaking out about her experiences and what she has learned in hopes that it'll not only help her own healing, but that it may also help serve those of you on the other side of the screen who are also on your own healing and learning journeys. Today, Poppy is back to expand on some current and past events that will be extremely valuable for all of us to hear and learn including: attacks and heart attacks, programming, interdimensional-life, emotional charge and vulnerability, aliens and non-human intelligence, and so much more. This is going to be a jam-packed episode overflowing with Poppy-Joy wisdom, personal experiences, love, and of course - pure JOY. I ask you all to please give this warrior of a woman your full attention as we continue to be blessed with the miracle and opportunity to learn from a woman who faced the depths of darkness only to emerge as the brightest light. And Poppy Joy is not only a bright light, but she is also a beacon of hope, a living example of what can be found on the other side of healing, and a miracle we get to treasure and behold. Grab a pen and paper as Poppy guides us on another amazing episode and journey where she blinds the darkness with her everlasting light and - in turn - gives us the power and courage to do the same.Support the show
In this moving sermon delivered at Masjidul Hassan, Lower Bagatalle Rd, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka, Sheikh Muiz Bukhary reflects on the unparalleled mercy of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. From enduring years of persecution to returning to Makkah as a victorious leader, the Prophet ﷺ chose forgiveness over revenge, demonstrating the power of compassion in the face of hardship. This inspiring reflection reminds us of the profound lessons in patience, emotional intelligence, and mercy that we can learn from the life of the Messenger ﷺ.

Whitney Tate and Delcia Petersen explore the practical side of Emotional Intelligence as it is most often encountered in the workplace. What is the cost of being 'A Bull in the China Shop' as it relates to EIQ? How do we each avoid being that bull in the china shop in our own workplace, dismissive of competence about it at our own immense personal cost? If Emotional Intelligence is arguably the greatest predictor of success in a leader and in success within any given career, then how do we use it as an asset rather than suffer from the lack of success with it as a liability. This year at Thanksgiving, we are grateful for the dedication of those compelled to change the lives of young people. Dr. Tasha Green Cruzat is leading solutions to our youth mental health crisis. Among the most staggering statistics is 30% of female students nationally reported seriously considering attempting suicide in the past 12 months. Dr. Cruzat, a U.S. Navy veteran, is President of Children's Advocates for Change and shares a vision for getting our kids better access to mental health care. In this episode of the Crisis Cast, Lissa & Thom push to learn what's driving the shortage in youth psychiatry and psychology. Plus, we ask the question -- is there enough emotional IQ in our culture to produce change?
Our bright and large emotional reactions to small things stem from earlier situations that we're still dealing with emotionally. It's easy to roll with inconveniences when they are few and far between and we are otherwise happy, cared for, and well. When we are depleted emotionally and mentally, anything that impedes our progress in the day can set us off. When that happens, we resonate with our underlying unaddressed emotion. The inconvenience brings it to the surface. We can come to a more peaceful place more easily when we offer ourselves the praise and appreciation we feel are missing elsewhere in our lives.Getting enough kindness and positive interactions in a day than negative feedback in a ratio of 5 positive to 1 negative makes us more resilient and joyful overall. You can also set aside 90 seconds to truly sit with whatever negative emotion arises so that you complete the cycle and it no longer has as much control over you. When we get interrupted in feeling our feelings, either by ourselves or an outside event – we get stuck and repeat the feeling until it's over. And that can take a long time, even all day! So taking the break to move through a feeling is very much worth it, and it's something we haven't been taught and generally don't even consider to be possible. What's the emotion that's sparked the most often by the sources of information and entertainment you consume or are exposed to?Having a big emotion sparked makes it more difficult for you to respond to situations, it instead elicits reactions from you. Some basic truths about what sparks emotional reactions in us can be helpful. When we watch something visually, full of music, fast cuts back and forth and fast pacing, it primes you to be on edge and more emotional. This makes you more receptive to whatever message they are pitching you.Reading slows us down, even though we recognize emotional words. But we do need to train ourselves to notice the frequency and flavor of the emotional words that are used so that we can recognize that the articles we are consuming aren't neutral – they have a stance and a message.Listening to information, we follow the cadence and emotional tone of the speaker or presenter. We are social animals and built to target in on other's emotions and stance and either to agree or disagree. We are in a never-ending onslaught of information these days, and it can really help to consciously choose times when we disconnect and allow for quiet and space to think and be present. Can we consciously curate what we consume to provide us with more opportunities for uplifting emotions? This is the space where we are able to solve more problems.Pain needs to be moved. It needs to be acknowledged and healed. But continually poking at our pain cannot give us the space or creative availability to show up as our better selves. For that to occur, we need to create a pause, provide ourselves with the circumstances that nurture us and soothe and inspire us. Summary: As a culture we avoid talking about, expressing or feeling our anger. The closest we often get to it is saying we feel "frustrated" or "irritated." This inevitably leads to it spilling out sideways in unhealthy and unconscious ways. It also keeps us disconnected from a potent and vital source of energy. In this episode, we face our anger head on and discuss how we work with this tricky and powerful emotion.Support this podcast:Discount link to purchase organic, raw ceremonial-grade cacao ethically sourced in Guatemala (a portion of proceeds support this podcast)Become a patron at: https://www.patreon.com/thefaroutcoupleMake one-time donation with PayPal (our account is aplambeck22@gmail.com)Leave a review on iTunes!Share this episode with a friend! :DConnect with us:Website: www.thefarout.lifeEmail us at info@thefarout.lifeWild Within @ www.thewildwithin.orgCredits:Intro music: "Complicate ya" by Otis McDonaldOutro music: "Running with wise fools" written & performed by Krackatoa (www.krackatoa.com)

Today was HIGH ENERGY! We started off talking about the 13 things that people say in conversation when they have a high Emotional IQ. We then talked about the women's National Championship game for college hoops. One of the players from LSU was a classless winner. We talked about her behavior and we then talked about the disrespect we see across the board with young people today. Was the world better in the 1970s and 80s? Kids would get their ass whooped, but we did not have gun violence and the widespread disrespect toward adults that we see today. We talked about mental illness, Trump being indicted, and my son getting screwed over by Social Security. I hope you enjoy the show.

What is the emotional need of a man? True or False? Men who express their emotions are often seen as weak. Because of that, many men neglect to show their emotions because they're afraid of the repercussions. However, suppressing emotions and feelings can be incredibly detrimental to a man's mental health.

You don't have to be afraid of conflict or difficult conversations because you can become a conflict-intelligent person. Entrepreneurs need conflict intelligence. Why? Because many people are afraid to deal with conflict. This fear is simply from a lack of conflict intelligence, but you can learn how to shift your perspective on dealing with conflict and your response to conflict. It is important to note that not all conflict is bad, but not all conflict is good. The key is knowing how to transform it. As an entrepreneur, you are a personal brand. Everything that you do and say is a reflection of your business. Thus the importance of managing relationships within your team, with your clients, and with your community so that you can build rapport and the perception you want others to have of you. Before understanding conflict intelligence, it is important to understand emotional Intelligence Yvette used the example of her client and how he didn't see himself as intelligent. Meanwhile, he had overcome a lot of adversity and started a business while working as a dishwasher. Yvette pointed out to him that he did have emotional intelligence. He built it to have the resiliency and to be aware of his emotions to move him forward versus hold him back. In addition, he had the ability to work with other people, be sensitive to other people to be able to have a partner, and work for someone else while building a business on the side. As the client's confidence grew, he began to be able to communicate with his partner and resolve conflicts that arose. He was able to start to see things as opportunities versus conflict. Emotional and conflict intelligence is working from the inside out to handle situations. Very seldom is there a course in school that educates on conflict resolution. Often times we develop a framework for handling conflict based on what we've seen or experienced. As a result, people don't learn to handle conflict effectively. For example, if a parent handles conflict poorly, their child will only know what they've seen their parent do in response to conflict and will ultimately respond in a similar way. The more you ascend in leadership, the more you need to have conflict intelligence to build relationships with others. Robyn emphasized that because of neuroplasticity, we can change how we process conflict and address it in a more peaceful way. Three key methods to handling conflict Self-awareness There are many levels of self-awareness in a broad spectrum. People tend to think that they have self-awareness, but often it is less than what they originally thought because of the different levels of self-awareness. Implicit bias is a good example. If you have a brain, you have bias, but you work on identifying it and changing it. The same holds true for self-awareness. There are multiple ways you can see and deal with conflict. It is important to note the escalating process you've used as you handled conflict. There are many levels of skills necessary to change how you respond to conflict. Some people may have the skills already, and some may have them but aren't using them based on the work they do or the goals they have in their careers or workplace. Once they know how to use the skills to address conflict, some people may be able to go on and be great leaders, others may need more work to change how they deal with conflict. As entrepreneurs, we have many different opportunities to lead others. When you are authentically you, you are more likely to be self-aware and behave as a leader. Retooling the brain Adapting the skills so that you are thinking differently and your brain responds accordingly. This includes neuroplasticity and changing the neuropathways in the brain. Changing from how you formerly behaved or responded to conflict to having a higher conflict intelligence. And sometimes, there are people who need more than skill sets to adapt their behaviors in response to conflict because they have been rewarded for poor behavior when responding to conflict. Some CEOs fall into this group of people. Maybe their behavior isn't good but they are bringing money into the organization so their poor behavior is ignored. If we aren't looking at the human being and are only looking at the business as is on paper, we won't be able to achieve success or conflict resolution. Behavior Modification Behaviors create muscle memory. Therefore, it often takes a mediator to help navigate behaviors in order to recognize and change them. Behavior change leads to opportunity and can help build stronger relationships. Businesses that succeed, are businesses that are good to their employees. When we help develop humans within our organizations, we set our businesses up for success. This also helps you navigate conflict when it arises. Awareness is the key to transformation. In this episode of Let Go & Lead, business leader, writer and speaker Niven Postma speaks with Maril about the importance of recognizing and navigating office politics. She and Maril talk about Niven's journey toward focusing on office politics — one which, ironically enough, began with her getting fired — and proceed into a wide-ranging conversation about the balancing acts of leadership. They discuss the “tough empathy” that leaders must find, what it takes to get politically smart in the workplace and how Niven's ideas sync with Gagen's Three Things that Change Everything framework. Before starting up her own consultancy and embarking on her PhD, her positions included being CEO of the Businesswomen's Association, Head of the SARB Academy at the South African Reserve Bank and Head of Leadership and Culture for the Standard Bank Group (the largest bank by assets in Africa). She is a Harvard Business Review and Inc. Africa contributor, a strategy and culture facilitator for clients in industries as diverse as financial services, retail, media and manufacturing and an expert lecturer and facilitator on women's leadership development programs around the world. She is also the Chairman of the Board of Cotlands, an NGO that does cutting-edge work in the Early Childhood Development space in South Africa and beyond. — Let Go & Lead is a leadership community created by Maril MacDonald, founder and CEO of Gagen MacDonald. Maril brings together provocateurs, pioneers, thought leaders and those leading the conversation around culture, transformation and change. Over the course of the past 12 years, Let Go & Lead has existed in many forms, from video interviews to resource guides to its current iteration as a podcast. At its core, it remains a place where people can access a diversity of perspectives on interdisciplinary approaches to leadership. Maril is also working on a book incorporating these insights gathered over the past several years from global leaders and change makers. Maril has interviewed over 120 leaders — from business to academia and nonprofits to the arts — through the years. In each conversation, from personal anecdotes to ground-breaking scientific analysis, she has probed the lessons learned in leadership. From these conversations, the Let Go & Lead framework has emerged. It is both a personal and organizational resource that aims to serve the individual leader or leadership at scale. The goal of any relationship, society, or organization is to have enough emotional intelligence to build and restore communication rather than to destroy it. When people feel heard, understood, and seen, their productivity as well as level of cooperation increases. When you are dealing with a highly narcissistic person, you will notice they lack emotional intelligence. If you can spot their lack of Emotional IQ, it might be easier for you to avoid unnecessary arguments in the future and it might be easier to make tough decisions too. Lisa A. Romano Breakthrough Life Coach and bestselling author will break it all down in this episode. I'M SO EMBARRASSEDLIke really James?? This is how far you've come? Ouch! - Forgetting to turn on the camera so that both host and guest can be seen...- then rambling on and on, asking questions without pausing for a response from the guest...- then choosing to rather make instant statements that are followed up with more ranting...- and then finally, finally, after all the mess, you create the opening for the guest to speak? Where in your life can you relate with wanting to enjoy the progression of how far you've come, yet at times strangely bewildered at the lack of it? Where in your life do you feel like there is a lack of progress, a lack of enjoying the process, and a lack of executing without stumbling along? Why was I so embarrassed at my perceived place of progress? ASK YOURSELF... WHEN IS THE LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED TO YOU? ASK YOURSELF... - WHO DOESN'T WANT TO SET THEMSELVES UP TO WIN BY SIMPLY REDEFINING WORDS THAT ONCE SET YOU UP FOR THE UNHELPFUL SIDE OF ANXIETY AND NEEDLESS SIDE OF SHAME? - WHO DOESN'T WANT TO EMBRACE AND UTILIZE NEW MEANINGS THAT DEFINE A RICHER, TRUER, & MORE HELPFUL VERSION OF WHAT THEY WERE ACTUALLY DESIGNED TO BRING US?- WHO DOESN'T WANT TO THROW WIDE OPEN THE CURTAINS AND LET THE BLAZEN BEAUTY OF LIGHT SHINE STRAIGHT IN? EXPERIENCE A RAW, HONEST & UNFILTERED CONVERSATION WITH MYSELF ON EMBARRASSMENT where we talk about... What's beneath the surface of it allHow to rewrite your journey by allowing the progress of your life to become the good news vs. the constant threat of bad newsHow not taking the time and care to process your day well will lead you to a hellish outcome What your superpower of stumbling along can bring alive in you in order to gain a deep and orgasmic experience of the rich lifeA little formula and exercise that will lead you from experiencing the old disempowering version to shifting to the new life enriching version of progress, process, and stumbling alongHow and why you'll want to expand your Emotional IQ - building a mature and meaningful relationship with the core emotion of the heart, the core emotion of the mind, and the core emotion of the body.Enjoy the show.
