New Podcast Let Us Reason exists to reach Muslims for Christ …
Al Fadi talks with Brother Mel who tries to decide if the story of Mohammad is historical or fictional by comparing it with the fictional story of "The Lord of the Rings". Using twelve points of comparison from the call to adventure, the supreme ordeal,...., and finally the road back or the heroes return. Mel concludes that Mohammad's story is fictional. Jay Smith asks Al Fadi ;who is a native of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, about what Muslims believe about Jeddah and what historians today believe. Muslims believe that Jeddah existed around 400 BC while historians discovered that it did not exist before the eighth century as a port to serve Mecca. They also discuss what Muslims do in Mecca, the black stone, its significance, why people try to touch and kiss it, and how all this are idolatry. Jay and Al are doing a series on Jay's channel (PfanderFilms) to debunk the myth of the black stone. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and Jay Smith are challenging the Islamic traditional view which says that Mecca is where Islam started, Medina is where Mohammad migrated, and that the Quran was revealed during his time in both Mecca and Medina. Also that the Quran was collected as a book after the death of Mohammad by Abu Bakr and later by Othman in 652-654 AD. Jay and Al ask the following questions: Who is Mohammad? Did he really exist? And what do we know about Mecca? By doing so the are doing a historical critique of Islam. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and David continue their discussion about Ramadan and how it is feasting rather than fasting ; how it is not good for health, and that the purpose is to feel good about self and to be noticed by others; the opposite of what Jesus taught in Matthew 6. They also mention that violence in the name of Allah increases during the month of Ramadan. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and David Wood point out how the month of Ramadan is a month of feasting more than a month of fasting. Muslims don't eat and drink during the daylight hours and feast at night, and they use more food during the month of Ramadan than any other month of the year. They also like to be praised for fasting which is the opposite of what Jesus said to do when someone fasts in Matthew 6. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and Anthony Rogers continue their discussion to give more examples to prove Jesus' divinity in the gospel of Mark. In Mark 6: 45-52, Jesus saw the disciples out on the lake which shows His divine character of omniscience; all knowing, and the wind was against them, he came walking on the water and stopped the wind; which showed his omnipotence; all powerful. In the old testament only God can walk on the water. He also told them fear not; which echoes God telling His people in Isaiah 43:1 not to fear. Jesus said also; it is I; which in Greek means ego EIMI ;The I Am of Exodus. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Muslims claim that the gospel of Mark doesn't speak of the divinity of Christ. Al Fadi and Anthony Rogers are discussing the points that will refute that claim and prove the divinity of Christ. Mark reference Isaiah 40:3 and Malachi 3:1 at the beginning of his gospel(1:1-3), as a fulfilment of these prophecies. They also site Isaiah 42:1, as an example of how God the Father echoes this passage in Mark 1:11 . Listen to learn more details and examples. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and his guests continue to discuss the month of fasting; Ramadan. They talk about how did they explained to westerners why were they fasting. How they liked to brag of doing it for God, and made sure everyone knew that they were fasting. They explain how Mohammad took traditions from pagan Arabs and Jews on fasting . They say the ultimate reason for fasting was the forgiveness of sins not getting closer to God. They ask these questions of Muslims: Why are you fasting? And who asked you to fast? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi talks about Ramadan with two x-Muslims; Daughter of Christ and Nasser Qahtani. They share their memories of food and family. Daughter of Christ share the struggles of having to work and not eating or drinking all day, while Nasser remembers switching eating and drinking at night and sleeping during the day in Saudi Arabia which was more accommodating for Ramadan. They contrast that with what Jesus said about fasting of not showing off that you are fasting. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and David Wood discuss the three challenges that Islam raises against Christianity, Muslim who are seeking the truth, and for the world. They highlight the biblical response to each challenge. 1. Islam contradicts the core beliefs of Christianity; Jesus's is not the Son of God, He did not die on the cross, and others. 2. Muslims who believe in Jesus had to give up their families. 3. They also believe in the violent subjugation of the world. Al and David also discuss the psychology of Mohammad which made him who he was and consequently affected the way he treated women. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
David wood and Al Fadi discuss the treatment of women in Muslim majority countries in light of International Women Day. David talks about two different studies by two different organizations who studied the status of women in many countries and found out that Muslim majority countries rank the worse. From physical violence to the percentage of women who are married and divorced by the age of sixteen. They also point out that Mecca is the sexual assault capital of the world, and most of that happens during the Hajj pilgrimage. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al and Mel continue their conversation to say that the founders of the Ta'i tribe were Persians not Arabs, and that the Arabs were the soldiers. The word Qurashi; which Muslims believe was Mohammad's tribe is a Persian name. They discuss Chinese historical sources which talk about a king with a black stone; who Mel thinks is Elias ibn Qabisah (Mohammad). A proof of the strong Persian leadership also comes from the three kalifs named Yazeed I ,II, III,(first ,second and third), which undermine the Islamic tradition. They also briefly discuss when alcohol was banned in Islam. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi talks to Mel from sneakers Corner about who Mohammad really was. 1. Mel believes that the story of Mohammad has been fabricated and been built up over a number of decades. He also believes that the story is loosely based on a character called; Elias Ibn Qabisah Al- Ta'i ; the leader of the Ta'i tribe. 2. The geography of Islam is all wrong and it does not start in Hijaz, Saudi Arabia. Early seventh century sources points to Iraq(NE of the Arabian Peninsula). Listen to learn more fascinating details. Al Fadi and David Wood discuss why is Paul under attack by the Muslims. They say that Muslims are looking for someone to blame for Mohammad getting so many things wrong about God and the Bible. When Muslims attack the council of Nicaea you should know that they are making things up. When we get to our time; Muslims start noticing that the teaching of Paul does not line up with the teaching of Islam. We can trace all the doctrines of Christianity back to the first century. We know that Paul is more reliable than Mohammad because: 1. Paul is smarter than Mohammad; Paul knew the old testament ,Paul also went up to Jerusalem and compared his revelations with those who knew Jesus. Mohammad did not compare his revelations with Jews and Christians. 2. Mohammad justified his immorality by introducing more revelations. While Paul knew he was wrong when he persecuted Christians and repented. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Al Fadi is talking with Mel from "Sneakers Corner" about who the real Mohammad is. It does not agree with the traditional Islamic teaching that Mohammad came from Mecca and then moved to Medina where he died. Mel says that Arabia was not what we call today Saudi Arabia. The Romans had Arabia divided into three regions: 1. North, Arabia Petraea. 2. South, Arabia Felix. 3. Middle; Arabia Deserta . Mel also points out that Mohammad was from the Taiia tribe who migrated to the old Nabataean kingdom(Petra). Listen to learn more details. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and Sam Shamoun continue to discuss why Jesus is superior to Mohammad according to the Quran. They discuss some hadith(Bukhari and Muslim) that talks about how Mary's mother prayed to God to protect Mary and Jesus from Satan. They also discuss briefly reason #4 that the Quran says that Jesus is God's word and a spirit from God. In contrast the Quran talks that Mohammad is imperfect and a sinner in need of forgiveness. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and Sam Shamoun use the Quran to show that Jesus is superior to Mohammad. They don't believe that the Quran is the word of God, but they follow Paul's example in reaching out to people. These Characteristics are: 1. Jesus's maternal family were the greatest creatures. 2. Jesus's mother was the greatest woman, and the only woman mentioned by name. 3. Jesus and His mother are absolutely sinless and pure. 4.Jesus is the pre-existent word of God. 5. Jesus was conceived and born of a virgin. 6. Jesus created things. 7. Jesus went back to God where he came from. Not so Mohammad who does not fit any of these characteristics. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and Sam Shamoun continue their discussion about how Muslim traditions consider Mohammad as the perfect man, even though the Quran does not support that and it says that Mohammad was a sinner;(Q74:1-5,93:6-7 ) are two examples. On the other hand , the Quran specifically mentions that both Jesus and His mother Mary are sinless;(Q3:42). Tune in to learn more details. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and Sam Shamoun discuss the doctrine of Ismah, which teaches that the prophets are sinless and even if they sin they are miraculously forgiven. Sam goes on to show verses from the Quran that teaches that prophets sinned and they are asking for forgiveness from Adam to Mohammad Except Jesus who was sinless. Sam thinks that this doctrine came to be to try and make Mohammad more comparable to Jesus. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi gives a detailed update on the different shows he has done and is in the process of releasing about Islam, the Quran and Mohammad. He has different guests, among them are Sam Shamoun, David Wood, Jay Smith and many others. He also mentions that the new officially released Arabic video series called" Nahj al Sabeel". The whole purpose of all is to let Muslims check the truth and think on their own beliefs in hope to come to a saving knowledge of the Lord. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and David wood continue their conversation about more reasons why atheist Muslims have trouble with Mohammad moral character . 3. Wife beating. They ask the question , on what basis is it alright to beat your wife? 4. killing the apostates. Mohammad ordered the execution of whoever leaves his religion. Listen for more detailed information. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and David wood discuss why do atheist Muslims think that Mohammad was wrong in his moral behavior, giving two examples from the life of Mohammad. 1.. Mohammad marring Ayesha at age 9, before the age of puppetry. 2. Mohammad marrying his adopted son's wife and abolishing adoption. They say that these atheist had no foundation for why it is wrong, because these practices could be acceptable in certain societies and not in others. Listen to the conversation to learn more. Al Fadi and David wood are discussing the question that many Christians complain about David's way of criticizing,( Mocking) Islam and Mohammad. David say that it is one way of challenging Muslims to what they believe. And that the Bible has many examples in the Old Testament, ie, Elijah mocking the prophets of Baal. And In the New Testament Jesus was harder on the Pharisees and called them white washed tombs. It is okay to mock people who are idol worshipers, oppressor, and religious leaders who are leading others astray. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi talks with Dr. David wood, who is a former atheist ,about the reasons why Muslims leave Islam and become atheists. They leave because they have moral objections to something Mohammad did, something the Quran said, and the effect that Islam is having on the world. David came to the same conclusion that Bill Nye believes at age twelve, that he is but a speck in the universe and rules don't matter. David ended up in prison where he became a Christian. David is an apologist and have been doing debates and videos . Listen for more details about up coming debates ." Why I became a Christian" is the you tube video about David's testimony. Al Fadi and Joel Richardson continue the discussion on the second coming of Christ. Joel says that the Bible is very clear that no man knows the hour of His coming, and that the antichrist is not going a Jew but a military, gentile ruler who will be hostile towards the Jews. He mentions that the peace accords that Israel is having with its neighbors is not the peace treaty that the bible talks about, but it is an economic agreement only. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and Joel Richardson continue the discussion of Joel's book " From Sinai to Zion". This book deals with a series of prophecies which starts with Genesis 3:15 (the first gospel),and ends with the coming of the Son of Man(the second coming). In Daniel 7, Jesus is both the Messiah; the crushing one and Yahweh (God Almighty) who is coming back to save us. They discuss in more details the pillar of cloud who is called the Angel of the Lord in Exodus 14 and Jesus coming back in the clouds as the gospels tell it. A fascinating detailed discussion. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi and Joel Richardson continue their discussion on the second coming of Christ. They look at Deuteronomy 33,Isaiah 63,Psalm 68,and Habakkuk 3. In Deuteronomy ,the Lord is marching and shining like fire and lightening from Sinai.. In Isaiah 63 the majestic marching of the Lord from Edom soaked in his enemies blood, In Habakkuk, God radiating and shining from the south; a messianic deliverance where he will spread the red sea again. All these passages are explained in Joel's new book in more details, which explains the ultimate fulfillment of the coming of Christ. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi discusses with Joel Richardson his new book ; Sinai to Zion, about the untold story of the triumphant return of Jesus. The book has three parts: 1. The Mosaic covenant on Mt Sinai which was a bilateral covenant ,and was understood as a wedding/betrothal ceremony between God and Israel. 2. The restoration of Israel. 3. The return of Jesus on the clouds; he goes in details about old and new testament prophecies about that. The book is found on joeltrumpet.com. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Al Fadi and Joel Richardson continue their discussion on mount Sinai ,and some of the evidence that indicates its possible new location:1. The split rock where water came out of (Exodus 17: 6, Is.48:21) ; this rock is a massive rock. 2. The presence of Jewish graves; the Bible talks about 3 thousand people died after the making of the golden calf;( Exodus 32:28). 3. The presence of some petroglyphs; ie menorah. These things makes it hard to deny the possibility that Jabal Al-Luz is the true Mount Sinai. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi discusses the subject of the real location of Mount Sinai with his guest speaker Joel Richardson. Joel explains why he believes that Mt Sinai is in NW Saudi Arabia. His first line of evidence is that it is located on the eastern side of the Red Sea .The second evidence is the ancient Jewish tradition believed by Jewish historians, like Josephus and Filo which believed that Mt Sinai is the tallest mountain in Midian which is now the northern part of Saudi Arabia , and that it is called mount Moses by the locals. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Al Fadi is visiting this subject again as he mentions the four wrong views of government that he addressed in previous episodes. Starting from Genesis when God instituted the civil government (Gen. 9: 5-6). In the new testament in Romans 13, government was established by God to punish evil, we should obey the authorities , and do good. The book of judges is a great example when chaos and anarchy rule and everybody does what is right in his own eyes. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Some people use passages from the Bible(Jer. 10: 2-4, Isa. 44: 14-15) to say that we should not celebrate Christmas, but Al Fadi answers three arguments of why Christians should celebrate Christmas using J Hampton Keathley III. 1. Christmas is commercialized and materialized. 2. Scripture does not authorize it. 3. The Scripture forbids it. He points out that we have to look at the context of the passages and ask ourselves what is the reason behind the celebration. He also points to passages in the new testament where angels, shepherds ,and magi celebrated the birth of our Lord. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Al Fadi talks about the man born blind in John 9:1-7. The common world view of that day is that if a person was blind; it was either he or his parents have sinned. Jesus refuted that by healing the man both spiritually and physically. People tend to focus on the physical and forget about the most urgent need for the human heart which is healing of the spiritual blindness. God created us in His own image so that we can have fellowship with Him and and it is by our obedience to Him that we can fulfill our purpose in life. Al Fadi shares in details four major updates of Cira International: 1. The first quarter of the year included conferences, trainings, Arabic satellite programs, And Arabic FB page; both translation of Bible into the Saudi dialect, and preparation to launch Arabic U-tube videos to be released later. 2. During lockdown because of COVID, he started doing live steam videos from his home office(75). 3. The ministry met its basic needs, and he shares ways to donate to the ministry from Patron, PayPal and more. 4. A conference that just happened last week which dealt with Evangelism , Apologetics and the role of the Arab world in bible prophecy. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Bible does encourage Christians to participate in government for a variety of reasons including being a buffer against the wrong interpretation of scripture. For example ,in Daniel 4:27, Daniel told the king to break off his sins; he told him the truth and that way God used Daniel to be a counselor. Another example in Jeremiah 29: 7, God asked His people to seek the welfare of the city of there captivity, and to pray for the city. There is a lot of other examples in the old testament and some in the new testament (Mt 14: 3,4, Luke 3: 18-20) are some examples that God used His people to make an influence for God's larger plan. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
This view says that nothing good comes from the church's involvement in politics. It is wrong because God left Christians on earth to influence society and that by being involved in all aspects of life , which include being in government. Both church and government are instruments to help restrain evil; 1 john 3: 8. Historical church involvement helped rid societies in the past of evil practices like infanticides and branding criminals faces. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
This view is usually held by pacifists, and it disagrees with Romans 13:1-6 ,where it says that government is a servant of God. They take Luke 4: 5-7 out of context. We should also take the whole view of the Bible. Daniel 4: 7 , says that the most high rules the kingdoms of men. So God is in control of governments not Satan. God allows governments to go after evil doers, He appoints governments, and he is the one that establishes them (all of them). The job of the civil government is punish those who do evil. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
This view states that there is no room for religion in government and is promoted by the ACLU. It violates the first amendment by keeping religion out of government instead of keeping the government out of religious affairs. It also promotes atheisms as the religion of the government. Romans 13:4 talks about government as God's agent to institute righteousness and punish evil. If we take God out of government we remove absolute morality and promote relativism. Daniel 4:27,Luke 3:19, and Acts 24:25, are good examples of the influence of religion in government. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
