    In this episode we discuss benign bone cysts. Unicameral Bone cysts also known as UBCs and Aneurysmal bone cysts also known as ABCs. Unicameral bone cysts are simple bone cysts that occur in children and young adults with a predilection for the metaphyseal region of the bone. They are often found incidentally but can also lead to a fracture of the weakened bone.     We discuss enchondromas with Dr. Alysia Kemp. Enchondromas are benign cartilaginous tumors that occur within bone. Enchondromas can be difficult to differentiate from low grade chondrosarcomas. It is the second most common benign cartilage tumor. They commonly occur in adults and are often incidental findings. They usually do not cause pain, when they do it warrants further examination.
