Are you wrestling with silence from God? Do you wonder where He is when clarity feels out of reach and your faith is being tested in unseen ways? In this powerful episode of the Savior Speakers series, Angelique takes you deep into the story of Esther—a narrative of hidden providence, courageous obedience, and true leadership in times of uncertainty. We'll confront the tension between obedience and clarity, discover the significance of being positioned “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14), and explore how God is actively working even in ordinary, overlooked moments. This is a message for everyone navigating secular environments, waiting on movement, or longing for purpose when God seems quiet. If you're ready to lead with conviction and trust God even when you can't see the outcome, this episode is for you."For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" –Esther 4:14Episode Highlights:10:03 - That is surrendered faith. She's saying, I trust God enough to obey, even if I don't know what's going to happen. And that's where many of us struggle, because we want clarity before we make a commitment. But Esther shows us that obedience often comes first.12:24 - But God is already working in the details that we are very much overlooking. Now, just because God is not obvious does not mean that he is absent. Now, there's a word for this. It's called providence. God's providence means that he is actively working, even when he is not visibly intervening.20:48 - Many of you are leading in environments that look more like Esther's world than a church. Places where God is not openly acknowledged, where faith is not always welcomed, where truth is not always aligned. And it can feel like, I don't know how to live this out here. But Esther shows us something powerful. God does not need a Christian environment to accomplish his purpose.Connect with Angelie KapoorLinkedIn

In this episode of The Winston Marshall Show, I sit down with restaurant owner and activist Harman Singh Kapoor. We begin with his arrest after posting a video defending himself and his family, following years of harassment, threats, and attacks linked to his refusal to serve halal meat at his restaurant. Kapoor explains why he believes he was targeted by the police, how the incident unfolded, and why he sees it as evidence of two-tier policing and institutional failure. The conversation explores rising community tensions, the role of radicalism, and the failures of law enforcement to protect ordinary citizens. Kapoor describes repeated incidents of intimidation, the breakdown of trust in the police, and why he believes the state is no longer upholding equal protection under the law.We also discuss his Sikh identity, the history of Sikhism as a warrior tradition, and how his beliefs shape his sense of duty, patriotism, and activism in Britain today. He reflects on immigration, integration, and why he believes more immigrants should stand up for British values and national identity. Finally, we examine his political activism, his break with figures on the British right, and the personal cost of speaking out, from financial loss to ongoing threats against him and his family.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------WATCH THE EXTENDED AND AD-FREE CONVERSATION HERE: https://www.winstonmarshall.co.uk/-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Chapters00:00 Introduction00:59 Why Harman Refuses to Serve Halal Meat03:03 Harassment Campaign & Police Inaction05:00 Mob Outside Restaurant & Arrest Within 30 Minutes07:19 Claims of Violence, Car Attacks & Lack of Protection10:00 “Two-Tier Policing” & Previous Arrest13:41 Why He Put Up the “Non-Halal” Sign14:43 “My Fight Is With the Establishment”16:23 Protests, Activism & Backlash From Sikh Community18:29 Grooming Gangs & Community Response25:00 Sikh Identity, Patriotism & Loyalty to Britain27:00 Fallout With Tommy Robinson33:38 Sikh Radicalism, Khalistan & Internal Conflict44:11 British Identity, Immigration & Integration49:15 Restaurant Rebrand & Refusal to Back Down Hosted on Acast. Step into the uncompromising truth of the gospel with the Savior Speakers Series, where we refuse to dilute faith for cultural comfort. In this powerful episode, Associate Executive Director and Operations Director of People of Faith Builder, Angelie Kapoor, calls believers to realignment—a return to Christ-centered thinking and living that's anchored in Scripture, not shaped by fleeting cultural trends. If you've ever felt stuck, conflicted, or uncertain despite your faith, this episode confronts the real source of the battle: the battlefield of your mind.Discover the difference between behavior modification and true transformation, and why your daily thoughts, no matter how subtle, shape your destiny. Are you being conformed or transformed?Tune in as we explore Romans 12:2 and expose the silent drift away from truth. Leave surface-level faith behind. Step into courageous obedience and trade comfort for conviction. One question for reflection: What's truly shaping your mind today?Episode Highlights:03:56 - If the enemy can influence your thinking, he doesn't have to control anything else. And most of the time, he doesn't do it in obvious ways. He does it subtly, quietly, through thoughts that seem reasonable but are not rooted in truth.07:13 - Instead, we slowly begin to adopt language that sounds right, but that isn't rooted in scripture. We start to prioritize comfort over conviction. We start to treat truth as flexible instead of it being fixed. And we keep faith private instead of living it out boldly. And over time, without even realizing it, we begin to think more like culture than like Christ. 19:19 - Discernment is not a personality trait. It's the result of thinking that is aligned with truth. So if your thinking is shaped by culture, your discernment will be weak. But if your thinking is shaped by scripture, your discernment will be strong.Connect with Angelie KapoorLinkedIn

Marketing leader and Brain Change at Work (www.brainchangeatwork.com) Co-Founder Rajiv Kapoor shares the current reality where most leaders are optimizing their strategies, but very few are optimizing their minds. The real performance gap in most organizations isn't process, it's awareness. "What's inside of us comes outside. What really makes a difference is how people show up, how they connect, and how much clarity and presence they bring to their work." Having taught hundreds of team members at several companies including Mastercard and F5, Rajiv has shared a new understanding that meditation practice is about learning to respond rather than to react. Silence can be a superpower, not a weakness. At the end of the day, exceptional leaders don't need all the answers. They just need to stay committed to creating fearless environments where people can show up and do their best work.
Standards shape industries, but tastemakers decide what those standards are. That's the real lesson from The Devil Wears Prada. What looks like a simple workplace story is really about judgment, brand influence, and how standards shape decisions for years. In this episode, we break down the marketing lessons behind the film with the help of our special guest Ritu Kapoor, Fractional CMO & Ex-CMO at Observe.AI. Together, we explore what B2B leaders can learn about the power of taste, the long arc of brand influence, and knowing when to break the right rules. About our guest, Ritu Kapoor Ritu Kapoor is a Fractional CMO and Ex-CMO at Observe.AI. In her previous role at Observe.AI, she led brand, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy for AI agents transforming customer service. At Observe.AI, she was building a modern GTM engine for the AI-first enterprise, driving a repeatable demand-generation motion, launching next-generation agentic AI products, and leading a comprehensive corporate rebrand that reflected the company's expanded mission and rapid customer adoption. Previously, Ritu served as Chief Marketing Officer at Productboard, the product management platform used by teams around the world to build customer-informed products. She led global marketing functions that helped product and engineering teams better align around customer needs and business outcomes. Across her career, Ritu has driven both organic and inorganic growth; shaped product roadmaps and narratives; built scalable global marketing and customer success functions across EMEA, APAC, and the U.S.; and created operational efficiencies that accelerated sales velocity, improved deal sizes, and enabled faster enterprise launches. She is proud to have built and led high-performing global teams and successfully launched more than 30 enterprise products and platforms, including ten first-generation offerings, four acquisitions, and five new software categories. What B2B Companies Can Learn From The Devil Wears Prada: Taste is the real moat. In The Devil Wears Prada, Miranda's authority didn't solely come from her position at Runway. As Ritu explains, “Her influence isn't from authority. Her influence is from judgment.” The same applies in B2B marketing. The best marketers aren't just executing playbooks, they're deciding what's worth attention and what isn't. In a world where AI can generate endless content, the real advantage is taste: knowing what's actually good, what's differentiated, and what deserves investment. Brand influence starts long before the buying moment. The famous blue sweater scene captures a core truth about marketing: decisions are shaped long before someone thinks they're making them. Ritu frames it directly for B2B: “You can't influence somebody when they're just about to buy. The influence starts years later.” By the time a buyer enters the market, their mental shortlist already exists. That's why brand work (content, storytelling, and consistent presence) creates leverage long before the sales cycle begins. Break one rule and commit fully. Great marketing rarely comes from following every best practice. As Ritu puts it, “The magic really is to know which rule to break.” The key is conviction. The brands that stand out aren't optimizing for average outcomes; they're willing to take a focused leap. Quote “ We've spent so much time creating hype that nobody trusts vendors anymore… We don't lead with honesty, and we've lost the biggest thing, which is buyer trust… Pick one thing that builds the trust. You have to find that one anchor of trust, and you have to completely go to it.” Time Stamps [01:15] Meet Ritu Kapoor, Fractional CMO & Ex-CMO at Observe.AI [01:57] Why The Devil Wears Prada? This week, Brent talks with Dr. Vishesh Kapur, a sleep physician and leading expert in sleep medicine and sleep apnea, for a practical breakdown of what actually drives high-quality sleep. They cover how much sleep most adults really need, what "sleep quality" means in real life, and why obsessing over sleep trackers can sometimes make sleep worse. Dr. Kapoor explains the basics that matter most along with when supplements or prescription sleep aids make sense. The conversation also dives into sleep apnea: the symptoms people miss, how it's diagnosed, why it's so under-detected, and what treatments work best. It's an enlightening discussion with real-life applications for everyone, hope you enjoy.

In Episode 464 of Hidden Forces, Demetri Kofinas speaks with economist, investor, and sovereign wealth and pension fund advisor Sony Kapoor about the case for a great rebalancing of capital from developed into emerging markets, generational investment opportunities in India, how the breakdown of the unipolar order creates both challenges and opportunities for EM investors, and whether AI can revive developed economies weighed down by public debt, unfunded liabilities, and faltering demographics. The first hour covers the structural forces behind the outsized concentration of global portfolios in American assets, why the Trump administration's erratic policymaking has made that overexposure impossible to ignore, and a deep dive into India—its evolving relationship with the US, how its elites and citizens perceive America under Trump, what it has drawn from Beijing's development model, and the remarkable optimism pervading Indian society in contrast to Western declinism. The second hour examines the broader EM investment case—why risk across currency, political, fiscal, and institutional dimensions is converging between developed and developing economies, why growth and demographic tailwinds favor dramatic portfolio reallocation toward emerging markets, and whether AI can sustain America's virtuous capital reinvestment cycle or whether rapid global adoption will erode that edge. They also discuss geopolitical complexities shaping these considerations, from India's deep military dependence on Russia to the fraying US-led international order and its implications for strategic autonomy across the developing world. Everyone watched Trump at Davos and thought they were seeing American power. We think they were seeing something else: a flashing warning light. The core idea of this podcast is simple: diversification is the oldest rule in investing, and the world has ignored it. We've funnelled a staggering share of global capital into the United States, treating U.S. markets and Treasuries like the default “safe” option. But now, with Trump openly threatening tariffs on anyone who dares to sell U.S. assets, the message is out in the open: America knows capital flight is the real threat. We start with an origin story, Henry Lowenfeld, the overlooked pioneer of diversification, and use it to decode what's happening now: a long-overdue global rebalancing. Then we're joined by financial strategist Sony Kapoor, who makes the case that U.S. assets are increasingly being priced not as a safe haven, but as a political risk, and that a weaker dollar, new hedging demand, and a search for opportunity outside America could reshape markets for a generation. Angela talks to Dr. Ash Kapoor, a longevity specialist and cellular health expert, who shares his approach to health that focuses on understanding and addressing the root causes of disease and aging, particularly through the lens of the 12 Hallmarks of Aging. Dr. Kapoor talks about the fact that true longevity is not just about extending lifespan, but about maximising independence, purposefulness, and fulfilment, explaining that modern stress depletes the body's primary energy source (ATP), forcing it to steal from the immune, hormonal, and nervous systems KEY TAKEAWAYS: Longevity Redefined: True longevity is defined not merely by living longer, but by being independent, purposeful, and pursuing fulfilment until an achievable age of 123. The Root Cause of Decline: All 126,000 known diseases can be traced back to the 12 Hallmarks of Aging, a breakdown in the body's cellular systems that is often driven by chronic modern stress A Strategy for Optimisation: Dr. Kapoor's approach involves a multi-stage strategy of detoxifying (cleaning the liver and gut), repairing (restoring hormones and nutrients, and re-establishing circadian rhythm), and renewing the body's cellular environment The Power of Inner Energy: The core problem is operating on stress-based energy (like cortisol and immune/hormonal reserves) instead of the primary mitochondrial energy (ATP) TIMESTAMPS AND KEY TOPICS: 0:01:25: Defining Longevity: What true "living" means beyond just existing. 0:03:00: The Science of the 12 Hallmarks of Aging and the control we have over them. 0:08:48: The link between the external world (success) and internal depletion (energy crash). 0:18:25: The fundamental strategy: Detox, Repair, and Renew in the correct order. 0:25:05: Understanding hormone depletion: Why the body "steals" hormones and the concept of "restorative hormone therapy." "Public markets are behaving more like private markets. Private markets want to behave more like public markets. So actually, they're just one market. What's not the same is the level of research, information, data disclosure. Correct. That's the only difference. It's this information gap that, to us, is the single biggest opportunity now.We think over the course of the next five to 10 years, there'll be more trading venues, more liquidity providers, more market makers, more investor types—all of that. And I think what Smartkarma has always done is be the information flow for part of capital markets. In fact, that sort of 74 billion number, I think, is quite conservative. I've seen other estimates that are close to 120 billion. So it depends on what you see as sort of growth and what you see beyond. But regardless, I think it's very large numbers, and the ratio of exit to invested capital is extremely low. A 50 billion hole is a pretty big hole." - Raghav Kapoor, CEO of SmartkarmaRaghav Kapoor, CEO & co-founder of Smartkarma, joined us for a conversation on the launch of PvtIQ and the structural transformation of Asia's private markets. Drawing from his experience building Smartkarma's independent research platform, Raghav explained how client demand for pre-IPO coverage led to creating PvtIQ, an intelligence platform designed to bridge the critical information gap in Southeast Asia's private markets. We discussed the striking imbalance where $74 billion has been invested into the region's tech ecosystem but only $23 billion has been returned through exits, highlighting the urgent need for better data infrastructure and price discovery. Raghav shared unique insights on how families dominate the region's investment landscape, why private and public markets are converging into one, and his vision for PvtIQ to become the intelligence backbone supporting companies, investors, and regulators in bringing more transparency and efficiency to Asia's rapidly evolving private market ecosystem.Episode Highlights:[00:00] Quote of the Day by Raghav Kapoor[00:57]] Smartkarma launches PvtIQ for Asia's private markets[03:11]] Investors requesting coverage three years before IPO[04:08]] Supporting MAS equity market development program[05:24]] Singapore's public markets languished despite private growth[06:13]] Path from fundraising to public listing explained[08:37]] $74 billion invested, only $23 billion exits[09:45]] Companies need support to achieve IPO readiness[11:00]] Capital chasing deals shifted to improving disclosure[11:57]] Southeast Asia's extreme market fragmentation challenges[13:23]] Families dominate and influence Southeast Asian markets[14:38]] Lack of data creates serious structural challenges[19:01]] Private market investors transitioning from momentum investing[20:18]] Digital banks provide disclosure model for research[21:24]] Late stage private rounds resemble public IPOs[23:26]] Liquidity without information is just volatility[24:06]] Private and public markets converging into one[25:30]] Information gap is the single biggest opportunity[27:00]] Private market research TAM already $8 billion[28:57]] What great looks like: intelligence backbone for Asia's private markets[30:57]] ClosingProfile: Raghav Kapoor, CEO and co-founder, SmartkarmaLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ragkap/Podcast Information: Bernard Leong hosts and produces the show. Dr. Fred Rosenberg interviews Chi Kapoor, founder and managing partner of KITC, a cybersecurity firm that works with healthcare organizations to protect sensitive data, maintain regulatory compliance, and strengthen resilience against digital threats. As cyberattacks against healthcare organizations continue to rise, private practice gastroenterology groups face growing exposure due to interconnected systems, third-party vendors, legacy medical devices, and increasing reliance on digital tools. Kapoor discusses why medical practices are frequent targets for ransomware and phishing attacks, where GI practices are most vulnerable, and how risks can originate outside a practice's direct control through vendors, cloud platforms, and outdated infrastructure. Join Rosenberg and Kapoor as they explore practical, cost-conscious steps GI practices can take to strengthen cybersecurity, build a culture of security among staff, address vulnerabilities without disrupting patient care, and prepare for emerging risks tied to telehealth, AI-enabled tools, and cloud-based systems. In this episode of The Science of Creativity, Keith Sawyer talks with Dr. Hansika Kapoor about the psychology of dark creativity — how the same cognitive processes that generate brilliant ideas can also lead to deception, manipulation, or harm. Kapoor explains that creativity itself is amoral: it can be directed toward good or bad outcomes depending on intent and context. Their conversation spans the neuroscience of lying, the overlap between moral and creative cognition, and the role of cultural factors in shaping creative expression. They also discuss recent findings on the "art bias," on using creativity tests in college admissions, and about the cultural practice of jugard in Indian culture. Dr. Kapoor has been a Research Author at the Department of Psychology, Monk Prayogshala, Mumbai since July 2011. Monk Prayogshala is an independent not-for-profit academic research institute, striving to improve the academic research environment in India, starting with the social sciences. She is also an Affiliate at the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. Her work has been published in several international peer-reviewed academic journals, such as Creativity Research Journal, Thinking Skills and Creativity, and Personality and Individual Differences (here's her CV). She also regularly contribute to popular media publications, including Psychology Today, Mint, and The Wire (complete list). Key topics include: • The concept of dark creativity and its ethical implications • Creativity, deception, and moral reasoning in the brain • Cultural perspectives on creativity in India and the idea of jugard • Creativity as a predictor of educational success • The "art bias" and everyday creativity For additional information: Dr. Kapoor's web site Dr. Kapoor's Psychology Today blog Music by license from SoundStripe: "Uptown Lovers Instrumental" by AFTERNOONZ "Miss Missy" by AFTERNOONZ "What's the Big Deal" by Ryan Saranich Copyright (c) 2025 Keith Sawyer
What happens when a founder who built a billion dollar company during a global crisis steps into the centre of industrial AI and begins reshaping how entire organisations think and work? That question sat at the heart of my conversation with Somya Kapoor, CEO of IFS Loops, recorded live on the show floor at IFS Industrial X Unleashed. Somya's journey carries a level of grit and perspective that shines through every answer. She shared how surviving the Gulf War as a child shaped her instinct to take on the hardest problems in technology. That mindset not only guided her early career at SAP, ServiceNow, and other enterprise giants, it also laid the foundation for Loops, the agentic platform she co-founded in 2020 with a simple scribble on a notepad that eventually grew into one of the most significant acquisitions in the IFS ecosystem. Her stories about early rejections, the wave of scepticism around AI in the early days, and the first customer conversations held on Zoom during lockdown reveal the human side behind a platform many now take seriously across the industrial world. Across the episode, Somya explained in plain terms what makes IFS Loops so different. The platform connects data across systems using natural language, helps redesign processes that used to be locked inside individual applications, and introduces digital workers that remove the grunt work from everyday operations. She brought the technology to life with examples that landed with real clarity. From supplier order handling to complex field service tasks, and the now famous Kodiak Gas case where thousands of hours were saved each year, she showed how agentic workflows change what is possible for industrial companies who have spent decades wrestling with fragmented data and rigid processes. We also talked about the importance of keeping people at the centre of AI driven change. Somya was clear that amplification, not replacement, is the story that matters. The shift requires new skills, new supervision models, and a thoughtful approach to adoption. Her reflections on change management, the energy she felt from customers at the event, and the speed at which leaders now want to move painted a picture of an industry that feels very different from the early days of AI excitement. The hesitation has faded. Curiosity has taken over. Action is starting to follow. Somya closed with a message aimed at every leader who might still be watching from the sidelines. The technology is real, adoption is accelerating, and the window to learn, experiment, and adapt is narrowing. She believes this is the moment for teams to decide whether they want to lead or be led by others who are moving faster. As you listen to this conversation, I'd love to hear what stood out for you. Do you feel the same shift in confidence and urgency around industrial AI that Somya described? Let me know your thoughts. The healers we need now don't stop at the exam room; they go upstream to the causes of suffering and make safety, dignity, and trust part of the clinical job. In this episode, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, an emergency physician and academic leader, calls for a broader, more human-centered definition of health care, one that addresses substance use, firearm injuries, pain, and the social realities that shape well-being. Drawing on personal experiences and systemic insight, he advocates for harm reduction, trust-building, and courageous leadership that transforms stigma and obstacles into opportunities for progress. In Episode 436 of Hidden Forces, Demetri Kofinas speaks with economist, policy adviser, and investor Sony Kapoor about why developed world demographics, debt, and political sclerosis will crush forward returns for investors who fail to rebalance their portfolios for the new investment paradigm. Kapoor and Kofinas spend the first hour of their conversation unpacking the thesis explored by Sony in two of his papers: “Winter Is Coming” and “The Case for a Great Rebalancing” in which he argues that global capital has been increasingly misallocated due to factors such as the growth of passive indexation, maladaptive benchmarking, and an excessive focus on short-term performance at the expense of long-term returns. They explore how demographic tailwinds in advanced economies have flipped into headwinds; whether AI driven productivity gains can realistically offset the drag of declining birth rates; why accommodative post GFC monetary and fiscal policies undermined political stability in developed countries; and what recent stresses—including dollar weakness, Treasury market liquidity scares, and an increased reliance on short-term debt financing—suggest about looming financial repression, fiscal dominance, and a rotation out of U.S. capital markets. The second hour is devoted to a conversation about investor incentives, market structure, investment opportunities in emerging markets, and how to construct a more diversified portfolio suitable for the world that is coming into being. Demetri and Sony discuss why political and currency risks may now be lower for a diversified emerging markets basket than for a similarly diversified portfolio of developed market assets. They discuss what a reweighting toward emerging markets could look like; why India stands out given its digital public rails and domestic-demand engine; how places like Indonesia, Brazil, and Nigeria fit into a rebalancing; and how to think about geopolitics, US policy risk, and portfolio construction in this new paradigm.
