Dat is mogelijk door het gebruik van silicium-koolstof-batterijen, een technologie die meer capaciteit in een kleiner formaat mogelijk maakt. Opladen gaat met 120 watt, wat de laadtijd beperkt. De camera’s – drie keer 50 megapixel – leveren degelijke resultaten, maar blijven achter bij de absolute top. De samenwerking met Hasselblad is bij dit model beëindigd. Naast het topmodel is er de OnePlus 15R. Die kost met 700 tot 800 euro duidelijk minder en levert in op processor, camera’s en laadsnelheid.
