This is a child on child crime with sexual assault, abuse, neglect, and all around bad and tragic story listen at you own risk.

In 2009 the first image of Slenderman was released as a submission for a Photoshop contest on an internet forum. Its creator Eric Knudsen could not have known the photos he created for a contest would turn into an internet sensation that would be known as Slenderman. The creation of this character inspired many movies, video games and even murder plots. Join us as Tara tells Marah the origin story of Slenderman and how a Photoshop contest creature inspired two 12 year old girls who plotted and carried out a vicious attack to kill their best friend. The only silver lining is this is a survivor story but the story behind its intentions are unbelievable nonetheless. Sit back buckle up and hold on.

This week Tara talks about the murder of Cassie Jo Stoddart who was a beautiful, kind and responsible 16 year old girl. She was murdered while house-sitting for members of her family. Her young life was cut short by 2 people she knew. Her killers had a sick and twisted obsession with the Columbine shooters and scary movies especially the Scream franchise. Cassie Jo would have done so much with her life had it not been taken so brutally and senselessly.

We stay local again this week with an unsolved missing person case. Tammy Mahoney was a 19 year old aspiring veterinarian and SUNY Morrisville when she was last seen hitchhiking to a friend's house on May 8th 1981. Tammy's case is not cold by any means and leads are still being actively worked on. The problem lies with jurisdiction as her last known whereabouts was on Indian nation territory. This case has tips twists turns and theories but all roads lead to dead ends.

Chaotic weeks call for chaotic cases and this week is no different. This week Marah surprises Tara with a case she has never heard about Mary Jane Fonder who murdered a woman from her church all because of jealousy. But that is not all Mary Jane has some strange ways of storing her poultry and to add to it her father goes missing a decade earlier than the murder.  This causes us to ask what happened here and what is with the chicken!

This week Tara tells Marah about a case that is near and dear to her, the one that forever changed her and is still seared in her memory to this day. This is the disappearance of Sara Anne Wood. In 1993 a small town in upstate New York was rocked by the abduction of a 12 year old riding her bike home from Vacation Bible School. Today the question of what happens to Sara Anne Wood is still a mystery. This is the hardest case that Tara has tackled yet but we made it through without tears. We hope we did Sara Anne and her case justice and hope she is one day found and her family can be at peace.

It's been a long week friends, and this weeks episode hits a bit different as Marah tells Tara about the moronic and nonsensical actions of teen murderer Daniel LaPlante. Daniel took the lives of Priscilla Gustafson, her unborn baby and her 2 small children which is despicable his actions however of immature burglary and even ghost impersonations proved to be laughable to say the least. We do not make light of the loss of these innocent victims but we kept it as light as possible. You even get a surprise cameo from one of our husbands but you will just have to listen to see which one it is.

This week Tara tells Marah the shockingly wicked story of Serial Killer Grandma Nannie Doss. Sit with us as we delve into her horrifying deeds and talk about her staggering body count of 12 yes 12 victims all of them her family members and husbands.

Welcome to our 2nd segment of Marah's Cryptid Corner. This week Marah tells Tara the stories of The Kentucky Hell Hound, This Mothman of Pike County, The Cherokee Devil, and The Raven mocker with some other fun little tidbits about some cryptids that are not as well documented. It is a short one but jam packed with fun as always.

This week we go over suspects, the camp, DNA and all the craziness that went along with this case. The girls got to discuss this one in person so it has a more lightheaded feel but man did this case need a little lightness to try balance out all the heaviness this one carries with it.
