Send us a Text Message. In the second part of Kyron's case, we will go over all of the evidence (mainly circumstantial) against Kyron's stepmother Terri. There will also be, not one, but TWO murder for hire accusations. Desiree has never given up of Kyron, we still do not know, 14 years after he went missing, what exactly happened to him.Terri has gone on, living her life free, despite nearly everyone thinking she may have done something, to sweet Kyron. She will, one day be forced to give up information..... but until then, we can (at very least) hope that, by keeping this case alive, and fresh in our minds, she will not be able to live a a second, where she does not believe that the walls are starting to close in on her. And, just as a side note in the description for this episode, when Kyron's mom Desiree, arrived in Portland to begin looking for her missing 7 year old. Not only did Kyron's baby sister, not want to go to, or be held by Terri, who is her BIOLOGICAL daughter. Kiara went to Desiree (who she barely knew at all) to get comfort.Support the Show.If you're interested in receiving bonus episodes, early release dates, an everything scary sticker and ‘thank you' as well as a shout out on our regular feed! Send us a Text Message. On June 4th of 2010, seven year old Kyron Horman walked into Skyline elementary school, with his stepmom Terri Horman, and baby sister. Excited, because not only was it the second last week of the school year, but also because on this Friday, there was a school wide science fair. Kyron, had done his project of the red eyed tree frog and he had worked very hard on the project and was eager to show it off. Terri said that after they had looked at some science projects, she watched Kyron walk into Ms Porters grade 1/2 split, classroom, she left the school and went about her day. But, Kyron never came home that night. Both of Kyron's biological parents Desiree and Kaine, believe that stepmom Terri, knows more than what she is letting on. But, now 14 years later, there has still been no trace of Kyron. His mother, Desiree vows never to give up. 2nd grader Kyron Horman's stepmom Terri drove him to school for the big science fair in June 2010. Kyron was so excited to show off his project he did about Red-Eyed Tree Frogs. They got to the school and set up, and Terri left to go run some errands. Mysteriously, Kyron was marked absent all day and no one had seen him since that morning when he and Terri were setting up. Portland Oregon has a lot of True Crime stories to tell but one of them, in my mind, stands out above the rest. Because for one it revolves around the disappearance of a 7 year old kid who has yet to be found….And also because while it appears as though the person responsible was someone very close to him…at this point in the case, that's all just speculation. Kyron Horman went missing one day from school back in 2010 and as we dug into the case, it became frustrating to see one dead end after another as well as several mistakes and lies come to light.
It's been almost 14 years since Kyron Horman went missing from Skyline Elementary. This case had a profound impact on the Portland, Oregon community. Even though it's been almost 14 years, Kyron's mom Desiree has never stopped fighting to find her son. Try our coffee!! - www.CriminalCoffeeCo.com and use code "Back2School" On the morning of June 4th, 2010, seven year old Kyron Horman was brought to his elementary school by his stepmother so that he could show her his science fair project. Skyline Elementary School in Portland, Oregon was having a science fair that day, and although the school would normally open at 8:35 AM, that morning the doors were unlocked at 8AM, to give the students a chance to tour the fair with their families. At around 8:45 AM, Kyron's stepmother Terri Moulton Horman took a photograph of Kyron standing in front of his project, a detailed diorama of the red-eyed tree frog. He beamed proudly at the camera through his wire rimmed glasses, and then, according to Terri, she walked him to his classroom and watched him enter. But when attendance was taken that day, Kyron Horman was not present, and he would never be seen again. His mother Desiree Young would later say quote, “it's like a portal opened up in the school and Kyron just vanished into it” end quote. The search for Kyron has been the largest criminal investigation in Portland history, but to this day there has been no sign of what happened to him, where he went, or who he was with. Seven-year-old Kyron Horman disappeared on June 4, 2010, from Northwest Portland's Skyline Elementary after stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman dropped him off with his second-grade science project on tree frogs. Chris reviews this case which had many twists and turns in the investigation from the beginning and sparked the largest criminal investigation in Oregon history.
On the morning of June 4th, 2010, seven year old Kyron Horman was brought to his elementary school by his stepmother so that he could show her his science fair project. From everything I can tell, Kyron's childhood in Portland was idyllic: He'd go to pick-your-own strawberry farms with his parents, play soccer in the local league, make snow angels in the snow—and the sand—while on trips with his family. But when Kyron was just seven years old, in June 2010, he disappeared from school on one of the busiest days of the year. Now, his family is begging his former stepmother, Terri Horman, to cooperate with investigators. Please get in touch with the Multnomah County Sheriff's department if you have a tip.
