    Life Is Easy

In this Episode I speak on how a friend told me life was easy and it took me down a rabbit hole that was needed for me. We make life hard when we are resisting life. That means when a situation has happened in your life, Instead of letting the emotions come and go, we choose to stay in the sadness and anger. When you stay there it spirals out of control. We keep reliving the situation over and over again, experiencing that hurt over and over, now we are in this dark place that we can't get ourselves out of. I speak on accepting the situation for what it is allows us to move on so we aren't be controlled by these emotions and thoughts. I talk about how living in the moment and focusing on what's in front of you helps to quit living in the past and being confused by everything that pulls you down. Why Affirmations are Important

Play Episode Listen Later Feb 25, 2023 23:14

In this episode Myrts speaks on how affirmation can be an important tool in your life. He speaks on how someone said Affirmations are no good because you are speaking from a place of lack and they magnify what you aren't. Myrts say it's partially true, because you do begin from a place of lack, but that's why you speak them repeatedly. So that you train your mind and energy to match the frequency of the things that you're asking for. Like he said before, think of a red truck, you're going to see a red truck. He also speaks on how we talk to ourselves on a daily. Most time it's not the best. We can beat ourselves up, so speaking affirmations changes the conversations that you have with yourself. If you're speaking to yourself positively and like you're deserving of what you're asking of, you will feel more confident and better about yourself. He speaks on how as you go through life, your affirmations change. Now he is in a time of his life where he is healing his inner child, so his affirmations has changed to lift up little Myrts. Myrts speaks on how you must do the work as well while speaking affirmations. Faith without work is dead. In this episode I break down the different types of Imposter Syndrome and how I suffer from them. I speak on my childhood because I had to dig deep to see where these feelings stemmed from. And some of these feelings came from there.  4 of the 5 types I feel I suffer from came from me thinking about younger me. The Perfectionist. Feeling like everything has to be perfect and if it isn't, then I'm a failure. The Individualist. Feeling like I have to do everything myself, and If I receive help it somehow takes away from my success. The Hero. Feeling Like I have to be there for everybody and the moment I let someone down I'm less of a person. These are some of the examples. I give a few ways to combat imposter syndrome. My favorite one is not comparing your story to anyone else's. Your own journey is special. focus on that.
