Hey Revitalized Womanhood listeners! Today on To the Core, I'm taking you into a conversation that is deeply personal to me—creating a life you're genuinely obsessed with, starting right where you are. For so long, we can find ourselves waiting for "someday." Someday when we have more time. Someday when things feel easier. Someday when we finally have everything figured out. But what if that someday never comes? What if the life you want is something you can start creating with the choices you make today? In this episode, I'm sharing some of the mindset shifts that helped me move from losing everything to rebuilding my life with intention. I talk about what it means to stop living on autopilot, get honest about what you're tolerating, and define success based on what actually matters to you not what society tells you it should look like. We'll get into why you should be obsessed with your own life first, how small, consistent wins can build confidence, why perfectionism can keep you stuck, and how setting boundaries can help you create more space for the life you truly want. Most importantly, this is a reminder that no one is coming to save you and that's not meant to scare you. It's meant to empower you. Your future self is being created by the decisions you make today. So if you've been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something more, this episode is your invitation to stop waiting and start doing. Listen to this podcast and join me as we go To the Core because your story isn't finished, and you get to decide what comes next.

Together they discuss why entrepreneurs often fail to recognize market shifts until it's too late, how attention has become today's most valuable marketing asset, and why integrating high-touch experiences with high-tech analytics creates stronger customer engagement. Would you like access to our advanced agency training for FREE? https://www.agencymastery360.com/training Have you been telling yourself that once the agency reaches the next level, you will finally take care of yourself? As an agency owner, you shouldn't be fitting life into your work schedule; instead you should fit work into your life. Today's featured guest is not the type of founder who ground his way to success and then learned to slow down. He built the life first and designed the agency around it from early on. He talks about how he built lead flow through SaaS partner ecosystems without ever asking for a referral, why he started charging $500 donations to his veterans nonprofit as the price of a meeting with him, and what it actually looks like to flip your calendar so life is the priority and work fills in the gaps. Dobbin Buck is the CEO of GetUWired, a full-service digital marketing agency headquartered in Dahlonega, Georgia. He came up through the museum world and found his way into the agency space out of necessity after a move to North Georgia. Over two decades, he evolved from Joomla websites to marketing automation to AI, building an agency alongside a team that includes his wife as COO. In this episode, we'll discuss: Building strong relationships that don't start with "send me business" Flipping the calendar Putting yourself first is not a reward Subscribe Apple | Spotify | iHeart Radio Sponsors and Resources E2M Solutions: Today's episode of the Smart Agency Masterclass is sponsored by E2M Solutions, a web design and development agency that has provided white-label services for the past 10 years to agencies all over the world. Check out e2msolutions.com/smartagency and get 10% off for the first three months of service. Building Business Development Through SaaS Ecosystems Without Ever Asking for a Lead Dobbin's growth strategy runs counter to how most agencies approach partner programs. The default is to join a partner ecosystem, badge up as a certified provider, and wait for the platform to send over referrals. Dobbin's version starts from the opposite end: show up, bring value, make friends, and trust that reciprocity will follow. He did this first with Infusionsoft after building a vertical solution for a residential real estate client that became a template he could rinse and repeat across hundreds of buyers. Infusionsoft noticed, started sending him to other verticals, and opened doors to more ecosystems from there. The practical principle underneath this is worth naming. The agencies that get the most from partner ecosystems are rarely the ones that join with the loudest ask. They are the ones who spend long enough demonstrating capability that the referrals become inbound rather than requested. That takes longer. It also produces a different quality of relationship and a different quality of client. Dobbin's most interesting clients came from introductions he never anticipated. None of it came from leading with "send me business." What Charging $500 For Your Time Actually Signals When Dobbin started getting hammered by unsolicited outreach from salespeople and lead generation services, his response was more creative than an unsubscribe filter. Any vendor who wanted a 30-minute meeting with him had to make a $500 donation to his veterans fly fishing nonprofit first. If the business conversation was worth having, the cost per acquisition was already north of $500 anyway. If it was not worth $500, there was nothing to discuss. The filter worked on two levels. It stopped the low-intent outreach immediately. It also generated meaningful donations for a nonprofit he cared about. The lesson here is that your time has a real cost, and building a structure that reflects that cost is not arrogance. It is clarity. Most founders who feel overwhelmed by the wrong kind of attention have not yet made that cost visible. Dobbin did, and found that the people worth talking to were happy to pay it. Flipping the Calendar and What Changed When He Did Dobbin used to work twelve-hour days and fit the rest of life into the gaps his schedule allowed. His kids' soccer games, date nights, time outside: all of it was scheduled around work, which meant all of it was conditional. Every agency owner has experienced this and Dobbin knew it was time for a change, so he loaded his calendar first with everything he wanted to do for himself, and then filled work in around it. Two rounds of sauna and cold plunge, thirty minutes of meditation, one to three hours of reading daily: those go in first. Work finds its place in what remains. The move that tested this the most was taking Mondays off entirely to lead veterans fly fishing trips. His team's reaction was predictable: disbelief, concern about productivity, questions about how he would compensate. His answer was that he would not compensate. He would just take Mondays off. Nothing broke. The work that had taken five days fit into four, and he came into Tuesday sharper and more energized than he had been in years. The carrot he describes, the one that keeps moving no matter how fast you run toward it, stops being motivating the moment you realize it is never going to sit still. Taking Mondays off was how he stopped chasing it. Putting Yourself First Is Not a Reward for Reaching a Certain Revenue Most founders structure their lives around a deferred promise. When the agency reaches the next milestone, then I will take care of myself. The problem is that the milestone keeps moving. The agency gets bigger and the demands grow with it. The window does not open automatically. It has to be forced open deliberately, and waiting for the right time to do it means it rarely happens. Dobbin has been living the alternative version for long enough to see what it produces. He is 60 years old, energized, genuinely happy, and clear that none of it is correlated with a revenue number. The agency is the vehicle. It was never supposed to be the destination. The founders who figure that out early enough to actually act on it are the ones who end up looking back with something other than regret. In this episode of The High Performance Mindset, Dr. Cindra Kamphoff sits down with Marilyn Sherman, Hall of Fame speaker, Certified Speaking Professional, five-time author, and founder of UpFront Presentations, to explore how to stop settling and create your own version of Front Row Success. For more than two decades, Marilyn has helped leaders strengthen their resilience, improve communication, and lead with greater confidence. She shares practical strategies to get unstuck, overcome self-doubt, and intentionally choose the seat you want in life. Episode Description Where are you sitting in the venue of your life? Marilyn explains that we all have three choices: the balcony, general admission, or the front row. The balcony is where we feel stuck and disconnected. General admission is our comfort zone, where life may not feel bad, but we're operating mostly by habit. The front row is where we feel alive, energized, valued, and fully engaged in the life we're creating. In this conversation, Marilyn shares her SEAT of Success framework: See the outcome you desire, manage your Energy, strengthen your Attitude, and build Tenacity. She and Dr. Cindra explore how fear of failure, limiting beliefs, and negative self-talk can keep us from moving forward. Marilyn also shares why taking action matters more than simply studying successful people and how starting a Win List can train your brain to notice evidence of progress and possibility. You don't have to settle for the seat you're in. You can change your choices, shift your perspective, and intentionally move toward your own front row. You'll Learn: Why fear of failure keeps more people stuck than failure itself. What it means to live in the balcony, general admission, or front row of your life. How to define what Front Row Success looks like for you. Discover the SEAT of Success framework and how to apply it to your goals. Learn how your self-talk and limiting beliefs influence the actions you take. Build greater confidence by creating a Win List and collecting evidence of your progress. Strengthen your energy, attitude, and tenacity when obstacles appear. Take intentional action to stop settling and move toward the life you truly want. In this episode of The Intentional Clinician podcast, host Paul Krauss MA LPC interviews Dr. Patricia Zurita Ona about her personal and professional expertise in anxiety and panic attacks, exploring how her own experiences with fear-based struggles have shaped her compassionate, research-based approach to helping others. Dr. Z candidly shares her journey of being someone whose behaviors were shaped by anxiety-from overthinking relationship decisions to second-guessing everyday choices like purchases and wardrobe selections-and how these experiences give her unique insight into working with overachievers and overthinkers who get stuck in "playing-it-safe" behaviors. The conversation delves into her Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework, which provides actionable skills to help people recognize how fear and anxiety can hijack their daily lives in unlimited ways, teaching them to stop avoiding discomfort and instead take value-driven action toward what truly matters to them, transforming anxiety from a barrier into a catalyst for courageous living. Dr. Patricia Zurita Ona  known as Dr. Z, is a psychologist originally from Bolivia who has been living and practicing in the Bay Area for over 20 years, with more than 18 years of clinical experience specializing in anxiety-based struggles. She is the Director of the East Bay Behavior Therapy Center and was nominated as a Fellow of the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science in 2019, recognition for her expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Z has delivered a TEDx talk titled "Stop Playing-it-Safe and Start Living!" that has garnered over 265,000 views, published seven workbooks on anxiety, and developed the Playing-it-Safe Questionnaire to help individuals identify their fear-based behavioral patterns. She works primarily with overachievers and overthinkers across all age groups, helping them break free from ineffective playing-it-safe actions so they can engage in what works, what matters, and what they genuinely care about through her therapy practice, online courses, and published resources. In today's episode, Celeste challenges the idea that you need to feel ready, healed, or worthy enough before you deserve to inhabit your own life completely. The life you've been waiting to live is available right now. Not later. Now. If you've been living at half capacity waiting for the green light, this one is it. Let's discuss intuition. In this episode, I'm telling you the full story of how one small decision to listen to my body last fall led to the biggest, most magical thing in my business and my life.Last year I had a two week trip planned with my friend Sarah. On paper it was a dream. But as it got closer, something in my body kept whispering, this is too much. And instead of pushing through like I would have during my drinking years, I said it out loud. Then Sarah asked me one question that changed everything. In this episode, we're talking about intuition. What it actually feels like in your body, what science says about when you can trust it, and why twenty years of over-drinking teaches you to mute the very signals that are trying to guide you. You'll learn: Why gut feelings are literal (your body sends way more information to your brain than your brain sends back) The one question to ask yourself when you can't tell what you really want Why your intuition about your own needs is the most reliable kind, according to research How wine becomes the tool we use to drown out the "something's off" whisper What honoring your intuition actually gives you (hint: I'm keeping this honest, no fairy tales) www.angelamascenik.com

I'm recording this from my first morning LIVING in Lisbon, Portugal, sitting in The Magic House with a cup of coffee, my family finally here, and this feeling I can only describe as the specific joy of having done the hard thing.Eighteen months ago I had an idea to move my family to a country I had never been to. No plan. Just a decision. And this morning that decision is my reality. In this episode I'm sharing what that journey taught me — and exactly how it applies to changing your relationship with alcohol.Because here's what I know after eight years of doing this work: the women who stay stuck aren't lacking information. They aren't lacking willpower. They're waiting to know how before they decide. And that's backwards. The plan doesn't come before the decision. The plan comes FROM the decision. We cover:Why waiting to feel ready keeps you stuck — and what to do insteadThe one question that cuts through every excuse: if you knew it would work, would you do it?What real change actually looks like from the inside — and why the mess doesn't mean you're failingThe grief nobody talks about when you change your relationship with alcoholAnd what deciding, actually looks like.THIS EPISODE IS FOR YOU IF: You've been thinking about changing your drinking for months or years and you still haven't fully committed You keep waiting until you feel ready, until things calm down, until after the next event You know what you want but you don't believe you can actually get there You've tried before and it didn't stick and you're not sure this time would be different You want permission to start before you have it all figured out ABOUT ANGELA: Angela Mascenik is a certified stop over-drinking coach for women and the host of the Stop Over-Drinking and Start Living podcast. What if the thing you've been calling a midlife crisis is actually the most important reckoning of your life? In this episode, Natalie sits down with Star Monroe, a self-identity expert and somatic psychotherapist who helps midlife women face the crisis underneath the crisis, the version of themselves they abandoned decades ago just to feel safe, loved, and chosen. Star opens up about her own unfiltered history, including addiction, two marriages, financial collapse, and the moment she finally understood that her self-destructive patterns were never about the substance itself. They were about a missing connection to herself. From there, the conversation moves into territory every midlife woman will recognize. The strange feeling of not knowing who you are anymore once the kids, the career, or the relationship that used to define you starts to shift. Star explains why this isn't a breakdown, it's a shattering of identities that were never really yours to begin with, and underneath that shattering is the truer, more whole version of you trying to come through. Natalie and Star get into the messy, practical reality of change, including how to stop outsourcing your worth to other people's opinions, how to tell the difference between intuition and fear, and why learning to sit with uncertainty might be the single most underrated skill in midlife. Star also shares the exact moment she walked away from a thriving six figure business because it no longer felt like her, and what it actually took to trust that decision without a backup plan. WE GO DEEP ON:  Midlife crisis vs. midlife reckoning Addiction as a search for connection, not chaos How to stop outsourcing your worth to others Intuition vs. logic in big life decisions Why simplicity is the real path back to yourself Walking away from six figures to find herself   Catch the full episode on YOUTUBE HERE: https://bit.ly/MidlifeConversationsYouTube   Learn More About Star Monroe Instagram ➜ http://www.instagram.com/msstarmonroe   Thank you to our show sponsors:  QUANTUM UPGRADE: Try Quantum Upgrade completely free for 15 days—no credit card required. Today George is going to talk about how “Someday” is a costly, dangerous word because it gives permission to delay while today slips away. He challenges the misconception that extraordinary lives are built on big breakthrough moments, explaining they are created through thousands of ordinary days filled with discipline, habits, and small actions taken when nobody is watching. He urges listeners to stop asking what extraordinary thing to do and instead choose one ordinary action today—like working out, making an avoided call, reading instead of scrolling, or having an important conversation—that a future self will appreciate. He proposes evaluating whether repeating today for five years would produce the desired life and, if not, changing the day now. George Wright III explains that many people compromise their vision by constantly “negotiating” with themselves—hitting snooze, skipping workouts, postponing calls, and delaying hard conversations—and that each small, justified compromise makes the future “pay the price.” He argues success is determined not by promises made when motivated but by promises kept when motivation is gone, because repeated broken commitments condition the mind to see one's word as negotiable, weakening self-trust, confidence, discipline, and momentum. High performers rely on identity rather than mood, asking “What did I commit to?” instead of “Do I feel like it?” He challenges listeners to identify one promise they've been bargaining on and keep it today and tomorrow, building identity through consistency, and invites them to share the episode and join the community at dailymastermind.com.00:00 Stop Negotiating Yourself01:44 Promises vs Motivation02:31 Small Compromises Add Up03:56 Broken Promises Kill Trust05:39 Commitments Over Feelings06:58 One Promise Challenge08:06 Greatness Built Quietly08:53 Final Motivation and ShareThanks for listening, and Please Share this Episode with someone. Marty Hofman built a multi-million dollar real estate operation from a single $5,000 duplex, but what he's really known for isn't the portfolio. He's the founder of OKC REIA, the host of the Kill Complacency podcast with over 180,000 downloads, and the author of "Complacency Kills: Stop Drifting and Start Living the Life God Designed You For." He's also a husband of 24 years to his wife Ginger, a father of six, and a man who has built his entire life around one relentless idea: complacency is always at the door. In this conversation, Marty and Larry get into the Seven F's framework, why "I want to be more intentional" is meaningless without specifics, how your environment will eventually defeat your willpower, and what it actually looks like to fight for your marriage and your kids at the same time. If you've ever felt like you're living on autopilot and you can't quite put your finger on why, this episode was made for you. Marty is a husband, father of six, real estate investor, podcast host, and author who has given his life to helping men kill complacency before it kills everything they care about. This is Episode 1496 of the Dad Edge. Marty's book just dropped in May and this conversation is everything you'd hope for from a man who doesn't just talk about living with intention, he's built an entire framework to help you do it every single day. Timeline Summary [1:02] Marty joins the show and Larry kicks things off with a quote that anchors the whole episode: "The enemy of intention is complacency" [2:18] Why complacency isn't a one-time enemy you defeat — it keeps knocking, every single day, like Oreos on the kitchen counter [5:22] "Your environment will eventually trump your willpower" — Marty and Larry debate where willpower ends and environment takes over [8:46] Why saying "I want to be more intentional" is not enough — and what it actually takes to turn that into a real behavior change [10:43] The difference between a vague goal and a measurable one: phone away at the door, greet your wife by name, make it specific [12:34] Todd Herman's insight on the first 45 seconds of any interaction and why Marty puts it to work every time he walks through the front door [14:04] Larry introduces Marty's full background — the $5,000 duplex, the Kill Complacency podcast, the Seven F's framework, 24 years of marriage to Ginger [30:27] How intentional actions become identity over time — and why date night stops being a discipline and starts being just who you are [32:16] Why putting your marriage on the front burner is the best thing you can do for your kids, not despite them [36:50] Faith as a daily decision — how Marty grew up in a Christian home of 10 kids, went to Bible college at 18, and met Ginger there [43:16] Six kids, ages 9 to 22 — how Marty stays intentional across the board by protecting Friday family night like a funeral-level commitment [51:33] Parenting adult kids and the part nobody talks about — Marty tells the story of his son Ezekiel, video game addiction, homelessness, and what it means to show up when your kid can't have a conversation [57:54] Why we have to let our kids fail — and why praying for your child to hit rock bottom is one of the hardest, most loving things a parent can do [1:00:29] Where Ezekiel is now — working construction, up at 5am to read his Bible, completely transformed [1:02:04] Where to find Marty, the Kill Complacency assessment, and the book that just came out May 12th Five Key Takeaways Complacency is not something you defeat once. It comes back every day, in every area of your life, which is exactly why intentionality has to be a daily practice, not a one-time decision. "I want to be more intentional" means nothing without specifics. Put your phone in the car on date night, greet your wife by name when you walk in the door, and schedule one-on-ones with each of your kids. Vague goals produce vague results. Your environment will eventually beat your willpower. If you want to change a behavior, change what you're surrounded by first, whether that's removing the cookies from the counter or getting away from friends who make the habit harder to break. Prioritizing your marriage over your kids is not selfish, it's the most important thing you can do for them. When your kids feel the security of a strong, affectionate marriage, they feel safe. When that foundation cracks, they feel it at 9 and still feel it at 39. You have to let your kids fail. As painful as it is to watch, failure is where they learn best and sometimes the most loving thing a dad can do is stay in relationship, keep showing up, and pray for them to hit the bottom they need to hit to climb back up. Whether it was the moment he described greeting Ginger by name when he walked through the door, the Friday night family tradition his kids now look forward to, or the raw honesty of watching his son Ezekiel hit rock bottom and praying for it to happen so he could finally come back, this conversation was a reminder that intentional living isn't a personality type. It's a daily decision. Share this one with a man in your life who you know is drifting. He needs to hear it. How many times have you told yourself, "I just need more discipline"? Maybe you've thought, "If I could just have more self-control, I'd finally stay consistent." Or perhaps you've found yourself believing, "One day I'll finally become the woman God wants me to be." So you keep striving. You try harder. You start over again. You promise yourself that this time will be different. But what if the problem isn't that you're not trying hard enough? What if you've been spending so much time trying to become someone that God already says you are? As Christian women, it's easy to live in a constant state of striving—trying to earn confidence, prove our worth, find peace, lose the weight, overcome food struggles, or finally feel "good enough." We often believe that once we reach a certain goal, then we'll become confident, free, disciplined, or worthy. But that's not how God works. Scripture teaches us that our identity isn't something we earn. It's something we've already been given through Christ. You are not striving to become loved—you already are. You are not striving to become worthy—you already are. You are not striving to become God's daughter—you already are. The transformation you're longing for doesn't begin with more effort. It begins with believing what God says is already true about you and learning to live from that identity instead of constantly striving for it. In today's episode, we're talking about how to realign your mindset with God's truth so you can stop living from a place of fear, shame, and striving, and start walking in the freedom, peace, and confidence God has already made available to you. Because lasting change doesn't come from trying harder—it comes from living from the identity you've already been given in Christ. I pray this episode encourages you and reminds you of who you truly are. And if you'd like additional support, want to go deeper, or simply need prayer, I'd love to hear from you. Resilience: Turning Setbacks Into ComebacksGeorge Wright III explains that adversity doesn't build character as much as it reveals it, and pressure exposes whether confidence is based on circumstances or conviction. He argues success depends less on strategy and more on resilience—the ability to keep moving forward when things get hard—and notes that meaningful goals always bring resistance. He shares a three-step framework for navigating setbacks: accept reality, control what you can control (mindset, effort, attitude, response), and take the next action one step at a time. He encourages reframing failure as feedback rather than identity, and emphasizes resilience is built before crises through daily habits and kept commitments. He adds leadership is tested in uncertainty and requires modeling perspective and solution focus, reminding listeners challenges can become new chapters.00:00 Adversity Reveals You00:40 Welcome and Weekly Mindset01:11 Why Resilience Matters02:04 Growth Needs Resistance02:37 Setbacks Test Beliefs03:34 Three Step Resilience Formula04:10 Accept Reality First04:30 Control What You Can05:03 Take the Next Step05:30 Reframe Failure as Feedback06:54 Build Resilience Daily08:15 Resilient Leadership Under Pressure09:18 Hidden Gifts of Setbacks10:21 You Are Stronger Than You Think11:44 Final Challenge and ShareThanks for listening, and Please Share this Episode with someone. Leave an Amazon Rating or Review for my New York Times Bestselling book, Make Money Easy! Check out the full episode: https://greatness.lnk.to/1934DM Emmanuel Acho hung his NFL rejection letter above his bed. Stared at it every morning. Every night. That was his goal. Then at the NFL Combine, his quad tore off the bone mid-40-yard dash. Every scout watching. ESPN rolling. He hit the ground, got drafted in the sixth round, and walked away with one conclusion nobody expected: stop setting goals. Goals have a ceiling. Hit one and you've stopped short of what was possible. Miss one and your self-worth takes the damage. Acho replaced goals entirely with what he calls an objective with no limitations. Sounds like a small distinction. It isn't. He also won't model himself after Michael Strahan. Not because Strahan isn't great. Because Strahan's already taken. Let Strahan be Strahan, and Acho be Acho.
