Chatting to Mark 'Rev' Revell this evening from The Trend.We are going to play the lost tracks from 41 years ago and The Trend releases this EP on 1st June 2021 recordings of their performance to a packed Hull City Hall on 1st June 1980. This was a date on their UK Tour of that year supporting Wishbone Ash. The tapes were found at the back of a dusty drawer along with previously unseen photos which feature in this promotional video. Four tracks have been carefully restored and remastered and are available as an EP on all the main digital music stores from the beginning of June 2021.

This week's show is going to be a lively show, We have The Aim.The Aim are a 6 piece original band from South London...fully independent, self-financed...we do it our way...mod, rock, indie, ska, blues and a lot of soul.I chat to Grant Judges and Jamie Tounge with a special appearance from Sam Judges.We discuss how the lockdown has affected the band.Songwriting and music playing are discussed and we even have a squeaky door and a bit of bad language in this show (Don't worry we have bleeped it out!)Playing the great new tune The Rise And Fall from The Aim.

On Tonight's show, we are so pleased to have Darron Robinson, The Singer and Songwriter from the great group The Sha La La's.With Swirling Hammond Organ and Vocals delivered with real purpose, The Sha La La’s are a London based Four piece Steeped in Mod and Soul Roots. Signed to Detour Records their 60s R&B influences are apparent but make no mistake, their sound is definitely their own and definitely NOW.We talk about future gigs when the pandemic is lifted and how the strain of not be able to play live affects the music scene.

Live this evening we have The Moonshaker 4 who are a four-piece cover band that specialises in the well known and not so well know indie/rock tracks.We have Mike Thompson, John McNicholas, Chris Scopes and Paul Hebben.What could go wrong with four great musicians live at the same time!The band has an extensive and diverse repertoire that can be adjusted to different audiences.Influences are numerous but Bowie, Elvis Costello, The Jam, The Small Faces, The Stones, The Who and The Clash are featured.
