We all know that change takes time, but sometimes we underestimate how long that time really will be, or we let the fact that it does take so long sabotage us—maybe we start out strong, but when we don't see results ASAP, we slip back into old habits. That's why the real secret to making […]
It's our party and we'll cry if we want to! To mark the 100th episode of VFTF, regular host Chris swaps places with panellist Adam and the latter wastes no time in garnering opinion on Town's 2-1 home defeat to Tranmere under the lights at BP last Thursday. Was Pym at fault for their opener? What's going wrong in defence? And has a rejuvenated Darragh Burns finally won his shirt back after a MOTM display? The guys then go on to discuss David Artell's second anniversary as Mariners boss and what progress the club have made on and off the pitch during his tenure before rounding off this centenary episode with a look ahead to the visit of National League side Wealdstone in the FA Cup 2nd Round next Saturday. Matthew Simpson from the Awesome Friday Podcast, shows why he is awesome by taking over the hosting duties for the November MOTM. The Genre for November was sports films, and a lot of votes came in, ultimately the Gold Medal went to 1993' "Cool Runnings" the Disney film about the Jamaican Bobsled team in the 1988 Winter Olympics. His guests this week ate "The Vern" from Cinema Recall and Matt Poirier of the Direct to Video Connoisseur. Are you selling out by selling on Black Friday? Maybe! Like all things in online business and life, there's nuance here, but ultimately it boils down to the way you run your business the other 364 days of the year. Yes, consumer culture is toxic, but we can't take it down by pretending it doesn't […]
Ireland v Australia. Italy v South Africa. Scotland v Argentina. Wales v Japan. How good. Not done with just talking to George Ford straight after his MOTM performance against the All Blacks, Ben Youngs & Dan Cole are back in the For The Love Of Rugby studio to dissect the rest of the weekend's biggest games!
The Boss Babes and the Brochachos of the online business space just keep spewing bullshit about what it takes to succeed, and I can't sit idly by and let people think they're telling the truth. There are people who would treat online business like a pyramid scheme, but there is a better way—a way that […]

If you didn't know, regenerative farming is a practice that aims to restore soil health and natural ecosystems—in other words, to leave the earth better and healthier than you've found it. What if, just like these regenerative farmers, we practiced regenerative commerce, and we left our customers and the world better than we've found it? […]

What a night for the Toon! ⚫⚪ In this video, we're chatting all about Newcastle United's result against Benfica — the goals, the drama, the standout players, and the moments that had us on the edge of our seats. We'll go through:
As Maxi said post-match, the whole team deserved the MOTM award, so we decided to bring our whole team back together post-international break to talk the most recent VfB win, this one on the road and former bogey team WOB! We talk the guys that showed up big - Tiago, Maxi, and Angelo - and if there's still time for some of the other guys - like Chris and Ata - while celebrating some newcomers like El K and Lorenz. Along the way we take a peek at the upcoming matches, including yet another UEL match!
Businesses are built on solutions to problems, so are you any good at solving problems? Do you know your shit? There are a million ways to market your services, but knowing what you're doing will always be effective. When you know your shit, people trust you and value your expertise, and they buy from you. As always, the October MOTM is horror themed, but for a time, the horror was our communities indecision. Twice films tied for the selection, executive action resolved the dilemma and "Re-Animator" from 1985 is our film this week. A horror film filled with gore and comedy seems like a perfect choice, but a couple of the guests were less than enthusiastic, and it may surprise you as to who. If your favorite band of the 1980s is Talking Heads, you are going to love this movie. It may be classified as a zombie film, but it is closer to the mad scientist trope of horror, in spite of the large number of living dead. Bruce Abbot, Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton star in the film, but David Gale may be the antenna topper that makes it memorable.
I don't know if you've noticed, but the internet sucks now. And when I say the “internet” what I really mean is Instagram and Threads. The algorithm only rewards either rage bait or meaningless slop, and I'm not having fun the way I used to online. But social media isn't going anywhere and it's also […]

Y'all know I have a love-hate relationship with my Last Minute Lucys, but as much as I can't understand them, I have an even bigger problem with my Day After Danielles. I make a big deal out of my open and closed cart launches so no one is lost on when they can buy. So […]
I've been podcasting since 2018, so I've got this shit down to a science. I've got a team working with me on this podcast, but on my second show (ChatGPT Curious) I do it all by myself. Running a podcast isn't a zero-effort activity, don't get me wrong, but it's not as time-consuming as people […]

Increasing your prices isn't necessarily bad, but there's a difference between raising your prices fairly and screwing over your customers for the sake of profit. There are times and places that makes sense for increasing prices, and with some foresight and planning, no one needs to get screwed over. It doesn't need to be more […]
Jimmy Conrad, Charlie Davies, and Tony Meola recap the USMNT's 2-0 win over Japan, a much-needed morale boost sealed by goals from Alejandro Zendejas and Folarin Balogun. Mauricio Pochettino's decision to roll with a back three gave the U.S. a new edge, delivering their first victory over a top-20 FIFA opponent since the 2022 World Cup... but don't call it a "signature" win! The Athletic's Paul Tenorio joins to break down who helped (or hurt) their stock the most during September camp (08:05). The guys debate the MOTM (21:51), dig into the impact of Pochettino's tactical shift (26:30), what it means for the roster moving forward (30:45), and how to judge his first year in charge of the USMNT (46:47). The MOTM has been a long tradition on the Lambcast, well before I came along and took the reins. We are starting some innovations on the practice and they commence this week. The MOTM will now be focused on a different genre or theme each month. My hope is that it will make it easier for people with films they want to talk about to remember to submit their choices. I will also submit a number of options so that the community will have a minimum number of movies to vote for. This new process has just started, and Biopics were the genre for September. This week's episode is the first product of the changes, the winner by just a couple of votes, so this month we are going to “Walk the Line”. Howard Casner, who has never been to Reno, Matthew Simpson, who is not named Sue and Tony Cogan, who is as far from Folsom Prison as you can get, join us for this show.
If you're running an online business, I cannot recommend highly enough to have a high-ticket offer. It's the fastest and best way to start making money online and building a business that doesn't perpetuate the same bullshit we've always seen. I know that deciding how to price, create, and run your high-ticket offers can be […]

The world as we know it is falling down around us, but we still got shit to do. If you're listening to this podcast, you're probably the type of person who sees a problem and tries to solve it. Yes, things are collapsing, but to me, that makes right now a perfect opportunity to start […]
Success is simple. Now that doesn't mean success is easy or even that it's fair, but it is simple. In my mind, success comes down to two things: do good work for a long time, and do right by people. How long it'll take to “succeed” is mostly random and a lot is out of […]
Whatever happened to teen sex comedies? We immerse ourselves in one of a wave of such films that emerged in the late 90s and early 2000s but seem to have disappeared off the big screen these days (ok, there are occasional exceptions but not many). Bubbawheat nominated EuroTrip as MOTM and he hosts the discussion as well as using a number of quotes from the film. Todd Liebenow, and David Brook are along for the train ride, hitchhiking and air delivery trip we take through this 2004 film starring the late Michelle Trachtenberg and some guest stars who just happened to be in Prague when the film was shooting. Come have a listen.
Phew. Not a great perfromance...but does it matter? Toby and Rory dive into all the usual match detail, answer your questions, MOTM, Dick of The Day, and more. Did Odegaard play well? The idea of leveraging your time by running group programs is all the rage right now in the business sphere (and for good reason!) but I want to make a case for 1:1 coaching. People are a lot less frivolous with where their dollars are going right now which means those that are buying, really […]
I speak a lot about ensuring demand before you create something, but there's a step you should be taking in between creating something and selling it. You've got to test it. What works in your head may not be landing to an audience without the context you have, or maybe you just need to fine […]
Cancellations are an inescapable part of running an online business, and if you care about what you do, they're most likely going to hurt a little bit. A cancellation can feel like a knock to your self-worth and the value of what you do (not to mention the financial impact of a cancellation) but when […]

Starting over is never really starting over—you always carry your past experiences with you. So when you're feeling the urge to start over, lean in. I'll never advocate for burning your life down without any safety precautions, but if you're craving something new, you'll never know if it can turn into something more unless you […]
Lex and I are back from our trip to Gstaad, where we spent a week watching a professional beach volleyball tournament, and what a trip it was! If you're here just for business advice, you might want to tune out for this episode, but y'all know I always have a few life lessons and reflections […]
Everything you say—even if you've said it a million times—will always be new to someone. It's a simple enough statement, but it's so easy to forget just how true it is. When you've talked and talked about a concept or idea for a while, it feels obvious to you, but every single one of us […]
I love getting ads online, but when I say ads I mean the kind showing me some shorts I'd like to buy, not the kind that tell me my business sucks and I need to hire a coach to make it suck less. Coaching is great—I am one!—but there are people out there that sow […]
When the work is as shitty as it is right now, how the hell do you get the people around you to start caring? Well, you don't. You can't! It's frustrating and at times demoralizing, but y'all know I'm all about taking ownership of what you CAN control, instead of allowing yourself to become a […]
In the same way that history is written by the victors, the social narrative gets decided by the best storyteller. The way the story gets told changes the way that the story is received, which directly effects the outcome of any given situation. When liars, racists, or any other genre of assholes are telling the […]
Running an online business sometimes feels like like walking to and from your destination uphill, both ways. This shit takes a hell of a lot of work and—especially at the beginning of your journey—often the amount of work you're putting in doesn't feel commensurate with the amount of money you're making. I won't lie, all […]
