This is a phrase so many Christians use. I believe it's something we all aspire to be before the Lord makes it clear we need to move on to the next season. At times this phrase can seem heavy, and honestly scary as if we needed to achieve it to be good enough. But I want to remind yall today that you are good enough no matter what. Even if at times you can not "achieve" contentment in the season. The Lord showing me that I had taken the armor of God off, and put on a pretty dress shocked me. I was blinded to see that I was not protected by my armor and because of it I was losing all my battles against the enemy. I am so thankful that he lovingly convicted me, and reminded me that without Him I will lose every battle. Fear is a liar, y'all… and it was lying to me the other night. I was experiencing fear about my decision to move to Liberty. I was hearing lies that were trying to convince me that I don't have a good Father who consistently shows up for me. I was so lucky to have a good friend who reminded me of our good Father. She shared a bit of her journey in moving from where she previously lived to a new place and the fear that came with it! This was a phrase I heard God say to me when I was having a conversation with Him over my convictions. I used to have judgment toward people who had the very convictions I now have. I also used to think some of these new convictions would never be anything I would feel convicted about. When my heart started shifting to new convictions, I first felt shame and even guilt, but I was met with love and compassion in my conversation with God, and now feel empowered. So let's talk about some examples where this happened in my life and allow to me encourage you if you have had the same stirring in your heart too.

I heard the statement "Grace rewrote our testimony" while I was worshipping at church, and it wrecked my world. I immediately knew I had to come on the podcast and talk about it. God also told me to look in the bible for a perfect example of this and, where He led me to was the story of the Samaritan women. Everyone knows the woman at the well and how amazing Jesus' conversation with her was. Fear can be a liar and can keep us away from truly following our calling. We can allow it to creep in and it makes you believe you are incapable or not meant to be doing what God has called you to do. Envying people's relationship with God can be a really common thing for me and I would even say for some of you. We tend to look at what God is doing in others life and think that it's not possible for Jesus to bless us in that same way. We look at everyone's blessings and read chapters of their books where God is moving and forget to look at our own. In this episode, I talk about two big moments with Jesus that happened while being at a presbytery service. Two of the people prophesying spoke to the whole crowd about two different topics but one relating to a mom figure and the other a dad figure. These two moments opened wounds in my heart that I did not know existed and also healed them all in one. It was truly impactful in my life.
