The nadis are channels that carry energy through our bodies. There are thousands, but we tend to focus on three: ida, pingala, and sushumna.Ida and pingala travel from the root chakra to the third eye, crisscrossing paths along the way. Sushumna is the central channel that travels up the middle.Where the three meet, you will find a chakra.I am beyond delighted to have Arabella Champaq back on the podcast to talk about the nadis and how they have helped support her and her practice. The nadis are an important part of our subtle energy body, but not talked about nearly as much as the chakra system.Arabella discusses what they do, how you can recognize which is activated, and some practical steps to take into your daily practice.Arabella Champaq was initiated by Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, a Sufi Master of the Chishti Order, in 1976. She studied with him for 25 years.Eventually, she began searching for a more integrated path, one that included all parts of her being. She longed for a spiritual path that addressed the disconnect between spirit and body, between God and Pleasure, between what we believe and how we live. She began an exploration of sacred sexuality, which led her to tantra. In tantra, she has discovered the perfect marriage of the sacred and the profane, of the inner and outer worlds, of the fact that she has both an innate desire for the transcendent state and experiences extended orgasms. She studies with Swami Ravi Rudra Bharati (a.k.a. “The dynamic between tapas (containment) and spanda (the life force) is at the heart of the process of birth and transformation.” - Swami Ravi, Kali RisingSwami Ravi talks about tapas as being similar to the banks of a river. Move them closer together and water (the spanda) moves more rapidly. Broaden the banks and the water moves more slowly. In life, the ways in which we maneuver our tapas will affect how spanda moves through us.This principle is one in which I very much enjoy playing. I love the interconnectedness. I love how one affects the other. I love how seemingly simple changes to the tapas of an experiment can affect spanda in really huge ways.I'm honored and overjoyed to have Tru with us to explain their understanding of tapas and spanda.Tru is one of my beloved teachers, a sacred intimate, and a sex and intimacy coach. When our inner selves are at peace, our outer world is at peace. So often our egos are unwilling to question themselves and so we look outward to find out why our lives are not going as we want them to.When we yearn for contentment or satisfaction and can't find it, our egos look toward the other to place blame. But in this second principle of Tantra, as outlined by Swami Ravi in his book Kali Rising, we are encouraged to look inward. As within, so without. In this episode, Cristian Graca (http://www.tripura-sundari.net/) walks us through the Tantric principle, As Within, So Without. Cristian talks about the importance of the relationship between the masculine and feminine inside all of us and how confusion in us creates confusion on the outside. This principle is not actually listed as one of the seven in the book, Kali Rising by Swami Ravi (Rudolph Ballentine). Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent is one of the most eye-opening tools I have found. I use it on myself, I use it with clients. I had studied it on my own for some time and then took Corinne Diachuk's workshop when she visited Brooklyn earlier this year. The Wheel of Consent is incredibly profound and its simplicity has an amazing ability to break through so much confusion in our lives.I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!For more informationInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/cocoloveblossom/Corinne's website: http://corinnediachuk.com/Somatic Sex Educator's Association: https://somaticsexeducators.com/More on Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent: https://bettymartin.org/videos/

The Three-Minute Game is one of my favorite things in life. It is so simple but so incredibly profound in what you can learn about yourself. It was invented by Harry Faddis. We spoke to Harry in the previous episode about his involvement in creating spiritual & erotic spaces for queer men including those with the Body Electric School, the Gay Coaches Alliance, and as a founding member of Easton Mountain Retreat Center. All of these institutions have been monumental in providing a unique space for queer men to experience a more full, erotic, and spiritual life.In this episode, we go deep into the Three-Minute Game. If you don't know the game, it involves two people and two questions:➡️ What do you want me to do to you? (for 3 minutes)➡️ What do you want to do to me? (for 3 minutes)The amount of information you can download about yourself from these simple two questions is incredible. We dive into this and more in the episode. Enjoy!
